About: My love for animals shines through in every moment I spend with them. I’ve had pets my entire life and began walking neighborhood dogs as a kid, quickly realizing how much I loved caring for animals. I’m experienced with pets of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments — including dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, reptiles, and aquatics. Whether furry, feathered, or scaled, your pets will be cared for like family. I’m also fully insured, giving you extra peace of mind while you’re away. Offering trusted, personalized care right here in your community. Currently providing services in The Brio, The Reserve, Country Point, Whispering Pines, Colonial Woods, Station Yards and beyond. Pet care is my full-time passion! I’m dedicated to providing superior care when you need it. Every service is thoughtfully curated to address the care your pet requires. Walks and Drop-Ins are scheduled with plenty of dedicated time, allowing me to be fully present for both my Day Care and Boarding guests. Every visit also includes supervised enrichment and social play activities. I take a flexible approach to pet care, tailoring my attention to meet your pet’s individual needs…whether they’re high-energy and adventurous or laid-back and easygoing. My goal is to provide a loving, safe environment where your pet is always my priority. You’ll receive detailed daily updates, complete with photos and videos, so you can feel confident knowing they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
“JD was well taken care of! When I picked him up, as excited as he was to see me, he kept going back to Dyese for some hugs. Her pictures showed a very happy, smiling pup. I will use her again!”

“Lisa and Michael are wonderful. Their love of animals is clear and they immediately put us at ease. They watched our dog for 10 nights, and we received photos and updates several times each day. We could tell that he was well cared for and happy. We are so glad that we found them!”

About: For the comfort and safety of every pup, I only host one family’s dog at a time. This allows me to give your dog my full attention and maintain a calm, low stress environment. My care goes beyond the basics. it’s rooted in genuine love and experience. My journey caring for Kayne, our special needs dog, taught me how to handle medical routines, provide comfort, and stay attentive to every detail. That experience shaped my approach to every pet I welcome. I understand that each animal deserves patience, respect, and love. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or needs a little extra care, they’ll always be treated like family in our home. We’re CPR and First Aid certified, giving you extra peace of mind while your pup is in our care. Pet care is woven into my daily life and something I genuinely love. As a stay at home mom, I’m home full time to give every furry friend constant love and attention. Our days revolve around walks, playtime, and snuggles. Caring for our late dog, Kayne, who developed a spinal injury and heart condition, taught me that true care takes patience, compassion, and adaptability qualities I bring to every pet I meet. In our home, every animal is treated like family. I provide a clean, safe, and active space with multiple walks, a fenced yard for play, and individualized routines. Through my experience caring for Kayne, who required special medical attention, I learned how to adapt to any level of care whether it’s energetic puppies or older companions needing extra comfort. You can feel confident knowing your pet is in loving, capable hands that treat them as one of our own.
“Catherine was amazing! Her and her husband were very sweet and knowledgeable! They took the time to do a proper meet and greet which helped my dog get to know them and made my experience so comforting to know exactly where my dog would be as well as get to know who my dog would be staying with. They sent updates throughout the entire time. My dog was so happy, well cared for, and felt at home. Highly recommended booking Catherine!”

“Our Frenchies, AnaLys and Armand enjoyed their initial boarding experience with Cassandra. They were well cared for and loved in a safe home. We received pictures and videos during their stay. They have an upcoming boarding experience with Cassandra.”

“Kerri and her family took great care of our big Newfoundland mix. Her dogs were friendly and played well with my dog all week. I appreciated getting photos every day which let me know my dog Juneau was happy and safe! Looking forward to booking with her again in the future. Thanks again!!!”

About: My fiancé has been a pet groomer for 18 years and started a grooming business (Krystal’s Klassy Kutz) in our home a few years ago which has been thriving! I can provide up to date references upon request. Your dog is never left alone. Someone is always home. I’m also available for home visits. You can contact me 24/7 I’m always available for you. Completely fenced in, private yard for your pup’s safety. Plenty of play time throughout the day. Paws n claws on TV all of the time!
“I booked with Christina last year for few days and she was an excellent care giver. I would say the best pet sitter I worked with. When I picked up my pet he was clean and looked happy. I sure he had an excellent stay at Christina's. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Christina for taking good care of my buddy.”

About: Hi! I’m Jo, and I specialize in caring for small dogs who are used to being someone’s whole world. After struggling to find a sitter who truly only takes one dog at a time, I decided to become the kind of sitter I was searching for. I know how hard it is to leave your little one with someone else. Small dogs aren’t just pets — they’re shadows, cuddle buddies, emotional support systems, and family. They thrive on attention, routine, and feeling safe. That’s exactly what I provide. If the thought of your small dog feeling scared or lost among a pack worries you, you’ve found the safe place you’ve been looking for I work from home so will be able to give full attention. I understand small dog energy — from clingy Velcro pups to sassy little bosses. I’m patient, attentive, and very tuned in to their comfort and routines. Right now, caring for my own small dog is part of my everyday life. I follow a consistent routine with regular walks, feeding times, play sessions, and lots of affection throughout the day. I make sure my dog gets enough exercise but also has quiet time to rest, especially after walks or play. I’m very attentive to their behavior and mood, so I can quickly notice if something seems off.
“Axel loved his 3 day stay with Jennifer! She takes great care of her pups, and gives tons of 1 on 1 attention. We appreciated the photo/video updates during his stay. Highly recommend Jennifer and would definitely book again!”

“Lauren was a kind and caring sitter. Great communication and flexible with traffic and drop off times etc when it was necessary. She even gave me a litter scoop to take with us on our road trip. Thank you Lauren! Appreciate you taking such good care of Sweet Pea.”

“Catherine takes special care to accommodate each pet individually and follow any instructions . I have 2 seniors and they do very well at her home and in her care. They have stayed with her several times. She updates frequently which is a relief to me while away. This past stay was the longest so far and all went well. Great pet sitter”

About: We have had dogs for over 20 years, we can never not have a dog in our home, it's just too quiet with out. Active family with teenage children! I am currently not working and our entire family is home for the summer! We don't take vacations Long Island is our vacation in the summer, walks, rides to the beach out in our beautiful nature surroundings is where you can find us! We have a fenced yard, pool, lovely sunroom. We live in an area with wooded trails and a 1.5 mile residential loop that we walk daily.
“I couldn't ask for better care. Amanda has a big back yard with all sorts of activities for dogs to keep them engaged through the day so was more like camp for dogs. Very friendly and always available, plus lots of pics and videos though the day. Would never want to use a kennel again after the treatment Amanda gives her guests!”

“Daisy had a great stay with Kelly and her three dogs. Kelly is obviously very good with dogs and Daisy fit right in within minutes after arriving. Also got daily updates/photos and a video, so made it easy know Daisy was having a good stay.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
There are 797 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Mastic. About 92% of Mastic sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
