About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, both small and big! I absolutely love furry friends and have one of my own. I have a small, older cockapoo named Riley and I’ve taken care of him since he was a puppy and I was in 8th grade - I actually had to pitch an entire care plan to let my mom allow me to have him! I work entirely from home and have a calm, quiet environment. I work entirely from home and have breaks throughout the day where I’d be able to play with your furry friend! I work both during the day and overnight, and will be able to tend to your dogs needs hourly at the very least! I have a fenced yard and a small cockapoo who is calm and friendly. I have a small crate as well if that is supportive for your pup! My home is calm and stress-free. You can count on regular updates, photos, and honest communication while your pup is in my care!

“I am one of those overindulgent pet owners. I usually only leave My King Charles cavalier, Fynn, with family or dear friends. A last minute opportunity over Easter weekend found me scrambling for dog care. An acquaintance mentioned Rover.com, a site and service I was unfamiliar with. After searching the site and reading the reviews I had four options close to my home. I call it a gut feeling because I was drawn to Melissa in spite of the fact she had no reviews posted. Melissa responded quickly . She explained she had two small dogs and would like to introduce the dogs first to see if this would work. It was as if she read my mind… Melissa was available later that day and we agreed to take the dogs to the park. Meeting in person, letting the dogs get to know each other immediately put my mind at ease . When I brought Fynn to Melissa to watch for the weekend, she introduced me to her family, her home and where the dogs would play. Once on the road Melissa continued to put me at ease by sending pictures and updates as to how the dogs were faring. Fynn came home happy, well cared for and missing his new buddies. Melissa is an interactive caretaker, extremely trustworthy, and provides a happy fun environment for the visiting dog guest!!”

About: I have extensive experience with puppies and all kinds of pets! Growing up, I took care of my own furry family members and frequently looked after pets for relatives, friends, and neighbors. During college, I gained valuable experience at a doggy daycare, where I handled various responsibilities including walking, feeding, cleaning kennels, and supervising playtime in the yard. I've been on Rover for a while, enjoying the opportunity to meet new pups and build great relationships with clients. I have a natural affinity for animals of all personalities and sizes! I work part time so my schedule can be very flexible. I'm looking for something I can fit into my free time. I puppy sit and dog walk from Monday-Wednesdays while I work part time on Thursdays. I board any time of the week and I am looking to add to my walking schedule. I live in a third floor walk up with two roommates. They are comfortable with animals and we often take turns watching our neighbor's cat. At night I would let your pet sleep in my room and then during the day, I live very close to Carl Shurz Park where we can go for some exercise. At the client's home, I will adhere to the directions left by the owner on how to care for their pet to make sure their needs are met.
