“My Scrappy (who is a 2 year old Pomeranian/ Poodle Mix male) stayed with Maria, Eric, and Penny (their fur baby girl) for 12 days. Scrappy and Penny had a meet and greet prior to booking. They hit it off. They were like long lost loves. Scrappy is one to be pretty scrappy at times, so I had to check the fence line because he likes to try to dig. They have a very secure backyard that made me feel comfortable to leave him there too. Maria said she would be out there with them, which made me feel better. But the fence was very secure anyway. Maria sent me photos and videos daily of Scrappy and Penny playing in the snowy backyard, napping together, and enjoying each other’s company. Scrappy seemed very happy and content staying with the family. Unfortunately, Scrappy had to say farewell to Penny for now. When I picked him up there was another fur friend there too, who was an elderly regular. He seemed like a sweetheart too. It was nice to see Scrappy had so many few friends. Maria’s sending us pictures and videos made me smile while we were away. It made me feel like he was doing well and he was happy and it provided me with a great sense of comfort to know he was being well taken care of. I would recommend Maria and her family for pet sitting. Maria herself was very nice and welcoming to me and my family. I have a small, older cockapoo named Riley and I’ve taken care of him since he was a puppy and I was in 8th grade - I actually had to pitch an entire care plan to let my mom allow me to have him! I work entirely from home and have a calm, quiet environment. I work entirely from home and have breaks throughout the day where I’d be able to play with your furry friend! “This past weekend we went away last minute, after looking unsuccessfully for someone to board our dog Holly based on a friend's recommendation. We were out of luck. I then checked out Rover and found Julie, thank goodness she was available at such short notice. Making plans and arrangements were seamless, you could tell she loves dogs (all animals) and would enjoy taking care of our Holly. Julie was 100% flexible with drop-off and pickup times, followed all our instructions for Holly. Julie sent regular pictures or communication of how the day was going, which I appreciated tremendously because Holly is a puppy and we haven't been away from her since we got her. You will have no need to worry. Your pets will be in great hands I am going to college part time. So I am available , Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday all day anytime. And for Monday and Wednesday , I can work anytime starting at 12pm - 10pm . I have a 14-year-old dachshund at home and she doesn’t really run around anymore. We mostly just cuddle together and I take care of her.. but when she was younger, and for most dogs that I take care of we run around, we play fetch. I am a college student and have a completely free schedule over the summer. I can come on same day notice and can stay over night. I can’t offer my home for boarding but I can stay over at your house and am responsible and have lived alone and can clean do laundry and other tasks to keep the home clean for when you return. I can also come over and bring your dog out for walks.

About: I have had dogs of different kinds throughout my whole life. Two rhodesian-ridgebacks, one pit bull, and a jack russel. In addition to this I have dog sat for close friends that have a Golden Doodle, A yorkshire terrier and even cats! I take care of my own dog every day so I am used to anything they throw at us! I got my own dog at 14 years old and am now almost 21. In high school, I woke two hours before I needed to be up for school and took my dog on a walk, then he was fed and taken out again before I left. In the afternoon after School I took my own dog and my family dog out for a walk while my mom was working from home. I bathe my dog on my own and pay for whatever he needs out of pocket. If I were to care for a dog in someone else’s home I would play with the dog and be extra conscious of the environment. Also I will take them on walks or runs and feed them when needed!! In the past when I have watched a friend’s dog they usually had instructions and times for me to go. I would do what they asked and stay a little longer to give them some company.

“Tara S and her family are amazing ?. They took such good care of my Louie - including washing all of his bedding the day I came to get him. She has two good sized good natured dogs that kept him busy the entire time we were gone. I highly recommend her if you have a good natured medium sized dog they likes companionship & playtime. My Louie is about 90 lbs just so you have an idea of what I mean by good sized dog. We will absolutely use them again ?”

In our home, every animal is treated like family. I provide a clean, safe, and active space with multiple walks, a fenced yard for play, and individualized routines. Through my experience caring for Kayne, who required special medical attention, I learned how to adapt to any level of care whether it’s energetic puppies or older companions needing extra comfort.
