“This past weekend we went away last minute, after looking unsuccessfully for someone to board our dog Holly based on a friend's recommendation. We were out of luck. I then checked out Rover and found Julie, thank goodness she was available at such short notice. Making plans and arrangements were seamless, you could tell she loves dogs (all animals) and would enjoy taking care of our Holly. Julie was 100% flexible with drop-off and pickup times, followed all our instructions for Holly. Julie sent regular pictures or communication of how the day was going, which I appreciated tremendously because Holly is a puppy and we haven't been away from her since we got her. Holly seemed to enjoy herself, she got to play with 2 other dogs and she even met Julie's cats and they all got along wonderfully. “I am one of those overindulgent pet owners. I usually only leave My King Charles cavalier, Fynn, with family or dear friends. A last minute opportunity over Easter weekend found me scrambling for dog care. An acquaintance mentioned Rover.com, a site and service I was unfamiliar with. After searching the site and reading the reviews I had four options close to my home. I call it a gut feeling because I was drawn to Melissa in spite of the fact she had no reviews posted. Melissa responded quickly . She explained she had two small dogs and would like to introduce the dogs first to see if this would work. It was as if she read my mind… Melissa was available later that day and we agreed to take the dogs to the park. Meeting in person, letting the dogs get to know each other immediately put my mind at ease . When I brought Fynn to Melissa to watch for the weekend, she introduced me to her family, her home and where the dogs would play. Once on the road Melissa continued to put me at ease by sending pictures and updates as to how the dogs were faring. Fynn came home happy, well cared for and missing his new buddies. Melissa is an interactive caretaker, extremely trustworthy, and provides a happy fun environment for the visiting dog guest!!”

About: I have a dog sat for multiple people for the past 5 years. And I have my own adorable dog that I take care of every day. I will make sure that your pets will be safe and happy. You will have no need to worry. Your pets will be in great hands I am going to college part time. So I am available , Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday all day anytime. And for Monday and Wednesday , I can work anytime starting at 12pm - 10pm . I have a 14-year-old dachshund at home and she doesn’t really run around anymore. We mostly just cuddle together and I take care of her.. but when she was younger, and for most dogs that I take care of we run around, we play fetch. “From the moment we dropped Nessa off until the time we picked her up, we were pleasantly surprised by how completely at home she felt with Marla. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. While we were attending our niece’s wedding, we kept checking our phones, fully expecting a call or text saying Nessa was crying or looking for us. That message never came—because she was apparently having the time of her life! When we returned to pick her up, Nessa was excited to show us all of her new friends. It was obvious she had been well cared for and truly enjoyed her stay. We could tell that Marla treated Nessa as if she were one of her own, and there is no greater compliment we could give. We only wish Marla lived in Connecticut instead of New York. Lastly, I maintain Buster’s Fi tracker subscription renamed as Buster’s friends. This is an optional free service that I offer. I have different sized collar attachments so that your dog can wear it during their stay. This allows me to share access to your dogs statistics and location during their stay if it will help to ease any anxieties you may have! I have a flexible work from home job Monday-Friday. I am able to take your dog out for walks as often as needed. I will not leave your dogs side throughout their entire stay! About: I have had a dog at home all my life and have been volunteering at animal shelters for the past 4 years where I would walk dogs and socialize cats and dogs. I am a college student and have a completely free schedule over the summer. I can come on same day notice and can stay over night. I can’t offer my home for boarding but I can stay over at your house and am responsible and have lived alone and can clean do laundry and other tasks to keep the home clean for when you return. I can also come over and bring your dog out for walks.

About: I have had dogs of different kinds throughout my whole life. Two rhodesian-ridgebacks, one pit bull, and a jack russel. In addition to this I have dog sat for close friends that have a Golden Doodle, A yorkshire terrier and even cats! In the afternoon after School I took my own dog and my family dog out for a walk while my mom was working from home. I bathe my dog on my own and pay for whatever he needs out of pocket. If I were to care for a dog in someone else’s home I would play with the dog and be extra conscious of the environment. Also I will take them on walks or runs and feed them when needed!!
