About: More than just a walk — it’s an adventure! I walk 6–14 miles a day and treat every dog like my own. With a lifetime of experience caring for animals, your pup will get plenty of exercise, love, and attention. Caring for my two dogs is a daily priority—they keep me active and joyful! I’m currently looking for new opportunities to give your pup the same love and attention. I tailor each walk to your dog’s neighborhood and routine to keep them comfortable—or we can go on an adventure if they’re up for it! I pay close attention to each dog’s needs and preferences to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.
“Naomi is amazing! All three of our cats warmed up to her immediately. She was super communicative, on-time and sent tons of excellent photos. Can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend and will absolutely contact her in the future. Thank you, Naomi!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years and have experience with all kinds of personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and even dogs that need a little extra patience and understanding. I’ve owned everything from easygoing family dogs to a Husky–Coyote mix who required consistent training and careful management around other dogs. Those experiences taught me how to read body language, respect each dog’s comfort level, and provide care that’s tailored to their individual needs. Dogs have always been part of my family, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing on the couch, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home during their stay. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which means your dog will have plenty of companionship and supervision throughout the day. Aside from grocery trips, walks, and outings with my one-year-old son, I’m home and available to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of attention. Our home is a safe, loving environment where dogs become part of the family during their stay. We have a friendly mixed Lab named Buddha who absolutely loves making new friends. Whether your dog enjoys wrestling, chasing a ball, or simply relaxing with another dog nearby, Buddha is always happy to have a companion. Every introduction is done slowly and safely because I know every dog has a different comfort level. My priority is making sure every pet feels secure, comfortable, and stress-free. Pickup Policy To ensure I can provide the best care for every guest and manage my schedule, pickups that are significantly outside the scheduled pickup window may require a booking modification to cover the additional care provided. If your plans change, please let me know as soon as possible, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you whenever I can. Thank you for considering our family to care for your pup! I look forward to meeting you and making your dog’s stay safe, fun, and full of love. “I couldn’t be happier with the care my two cats received! Elizabeth went above and beyond to ensure they were well-fed, happy, and entertained while I was away. She made sure to play with them daily and kept me updated with adorable pictures and messages, which really put my mind at ease. It's clear she loves animals and treats them like her own. I’ll definitely be booking again the next time I’m away! Highly recommend!”

“Annamarie did a great job with our dog! He's a bit nervous and excitable, but took to her calm demeanor right away. We would definitely consider booking her again.”

“Tera was great! Our cats can be shy sometimes but they decided to immediately take to Tera. She’s detailed and makes sure she communicates everything you’d want to know about your pets. Will definitely book again”

“Blake F. Has been great! Very communicative, made my work weeks easy knowing my pets are in good hands. I would highly recommend Blake on his real care for Piglet and Fettuccine with the photos and updated daily summaries, it shows excellent professional work!”

“Tish took great care of our kitties and although I had forgotten to book her earlier, when I realized this and reached out to her she made the process seamless! Thkyou Tish!”

“Rachael was professional and kept our kitties happy. We felt very comfortable with her dropping in to care for our kitties, and will definitely use her services again!”

“Jordan was very attentive and showed real compassion for our pets. They really shined with the challenge that our four legged ones can present. Would recommend them to anyone.”

“Millie was absolutely wonderful with our cats! She followed all the directions we left to a T, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. I especially appreciated how communicative she was—she didn’t hesitate to ask questions when something needed clarification, which shows how much she truly cares about getting things right. Her photo updates were such a highlight of our day! Not only were they adorable, but they were thoughtful and reassuring. It was clear from the pictures (and from our happy, well-cared-for cats when we returned) that Millie was consistent, attentive, and right on time for every visit. We’re so grateful to have found someone so reliable and caring. Highly recommend Millie to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter who treats your pets like her own!”

About: I have grown up with and cared for dogs most of my life. I have a deep appreciation for the precious relationships we have with our furry friends. I'm your gal if your dog needs a walk while you're at work, a check in and some dinner, or some company while you're on vacation. I have a relatively flexible schedule most of the week, accepting early mornings before 8 am and Wednesdays until after 4pm. I am not able to board animals but I can house sit or swing by and check in routinely depending on need and preference. Depending on the needs of the client, I am able to walk, feed, play with, and even bathe animals provided they have the necessary equipment for use. Building a safe and respectful relationship with your animal is my topic priority.
About: I've house sat and walked multiple sized dogs. I've also been around quite a few dogs in my lifetime. My parents had a puppy and I ended up having to take care of her for a while and I went to obedience training with her so I have some training skills. I currently am working part-time so I'll be more open to drop-ins and walks. I work retail though so my schedule isn't set but I am willing to try and work with you. I will give them lots of love and attention, activity, and I will make sure your pets are treated like my own; loved, safe, and fed.

Wow Laylah is an amazing sitter! She was able to accommodate me on short notice and was very sweet and helpful. She was able to give my cat her medications along with making sure the litter was always clean and they received many cuddles! My cats had a couple of accidents in my couch blankets, which she washed and rearranged back on my couch! She even put my trash out, which was super apperciated. I would definitely recommend her and her is the future.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
