About: I love dogs and am looking to spend my free time playing with wonderful pups. Dogs are the joy of my life:). I believe that pups can teach me a lot about the simple pleasures in life. I am always spoiling pups that I meet with love and attentions that fulfills me and is appreciated by the pups themselves. I enjoy taking time out of my day to make pups feel loved, well-cared-for, and happy. I share a Shiba Inu with my friend Honza who I love more than anything. I look forward to encountering as many breeds as possible in my life so that I can understand more about what makes each dog different.

I like to take my dog on walks instead of just putting him in the backyard when it's time to go outside, I also make sure that my dog gets all the exercise and play time he could ask for. I would do the same thing for your animals, I would make sure they are happy, and that they feel at home as most possible. I would treat them as if they were my own. I'm currently not work so I am available any time and any day of the week. I would prefer to have the weekends off but I can make exception. :) My two dogs at home I feed them every morning around 9 am and I let them out in the yard and play with them to let out there energy and from there I let them out every 2 hours. :)

Danielle was so wonderful with my cats while I was away. She gave me great updates with many photos and was quickly responsive when I reached out which I really appreciated. It was so clear that my animals were happy and well loved while she was there. I will definitely be rebooking her anytime I leave again.

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for our cat this weekend! She gave him so much love and attention, and we were completely at ease the entire time we were away. She kept us updated constantly with regular messages and adorable photos, which we loved receiving. It’s so clear how much she truly cares about animals. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter!

We’re so grateful we found Linda for Chance’s first drop-in visit and meet-and-greet. Chance gets very nervous when greeting new people—his anxiety can kick in the moment he meets a stranger. But with the right approach, treats, and a calm energy, he can learn to relax and trust someone. Within the first minute of meeting Linda, we knew she was the right person for him. We were truly impressed by her knowledge, professionalism, and especially the calm, comforting energy she brought. It took only about 10 seconds for Chance to take treats from her hand (our jaws dropped!), and he trusted her almost instantly. That meant so much to us. After Linda left, Chance was so sad—he was literally crying. ❤️ That told us everything we needed to know about how comfortable and connected he felt with her. We’re so happy we met Linda, and we can’t wait for the day Chance gets to stay with her for boarding in the future. We feel very comfortable knowing he’ll be in such caring and kind hands. We highly recommend Linda!

Kannalaq did an amazing job watching my pet cat she was attentive and prompt with updates and made sure that my baby got all her needs met. I would hundred percent hire her again as a Rover Sitter. If you want someone who dedicated and passionate for what they do I would book with her. My baby cat LuluI knew she was in the right hands while I was away and this made my trip all the more better because I knew she was receiving the care she deserves. Thank you.

Troy gave great care to my dog Bear. He was knowledgeable and conscientious. He played with Bear, took him for walks and fed him. All that I could ask for. He also looked after a housemate’s bird and sent pictures of Bear and that was very helpful. I would definitely ask Troy to watch my dog in the future. Thanks Troy!
Michael did an excellent job looking after our cats. He made sure to get a picture of at least one of them every visit. There was some issues with his schedule that came up and he did his best to communicate with us even though there was an 8 hour time difference between us. We appreciate everything that Michael did for us during such a long vacation.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
