“Our dogs love staying at Rachael’s! They are super tired from all their play when we pick them up. Rachael keeps me updated and sends pictures. We will keep bringing our pups!”

“We had Teri watch our fur baby while on vacation for 10 days. We got lots of pictures, and updates during that time. This is the second time Teri has watched our pup, and we couldn't be more pleased the way Teri looks after her. As long as Teri is available to watch our pup we will continue using her services. Thank you so much for taking great care of our baby.”

“David was amazing! Our pup, Pearl, was with him for 4 days and he gave us constant updates via pictures and videos to ensure us that our little girl was doing well and having a great time with other dog friends. We were very nervous as we have never been away from her, and his care for the dogs lifted that weight off our shoulders! We will definitely reach out to David for our next adventure that we are unable to bring Pearl on, and I recommend other use his services as well. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Kody had a great stay with Art! Got lots of pictures and videos so I knew he was having a fun time. Really appreciated how Art wanted to get to know Kody well before the visit and make sure it was a good match for both of us. I would definitely recommend Art to others and will be using him again in the future when I’m out of town! Thanks Art!”

“Kathy is amazing!!! My boys absolutely LOVED their time with Kathy and her lovely family. It was evident how much they genuinely cared for them and each other with how welcoming they were during the first meet. Their uniquely shaped house is also awesome!! Very clean, warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated. Plenty of places for my boys to play around and snuggle to. Yard was clean, well kept, and the boys loved playing in her backyard! Kathy was also so great at sending updates, sending both pictures and video clips. We feel so fortunate to have found them, it can be so hard to find the right person/family that you feel you can trust with your pups right off the bat. Forever grateful for the awesome stay and will 200% have them stay with her again!!!!”

“Elena was very responsive and genuinely nice. We got regular photo updates and messages to let us know Queenie was doing well. It is obvious she loves dogs and the fact they are free to roam around the house with them is a big plus for pampered furry family members like ours.”

“I was blown away by April's positive attitude and dedication to caring for my golden retriever. She meticulously created a safe, pack-like environment where the dogs felt at home, and the areas were exceptionally clean. Even more impressive were her plans to enhance her already wonderful outdoor space. As a side note, April is a certified dog trainer. Shortly after dropping off my dog and running errands in town, I noticed her diligently and patiently leash-training my dog during a walk, as my GPS took me back past her location. April never mentioned this task on Rover or in person; she simply did it on her own time, free of charge, without boasting. Her quiet integrity and humility are extraordinarily impressive. Best Rover experience so far!”

“We are so happy to have found Linda! This was our first time leaving Bella with someone outside of our family and Linda instantly put our minds at ease. From her thoughtful questions at our meet & greet to the daily updates we received while we were away, I knew Bella was being cared for by someone who is not only knowledgeable but also has a big heart for animals just as we do! We came back to a very happy and relaxed pup and will definitely be contacting Linda for our next trip 😊”
“Vaishali has helped Sunka learn to walk with her harness and NOT pull! She loves being with their family. Vaishali has been very flexible with our planning and timing. Today we had unplanned traffic problems that made our trip later than we head home.”

“Allison was great! She is so kind and was very patient with my Trigger and his anxiety and sent updates with photos throughout the time he was with her. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Kris was a great pet sitter! Our pups Summit and Lilo loved their stay so much!! They were very responsive and we got picture updates everyday. They made our trip to Mexico a breeze! We would recommend them 1000%!”

“A wonderful pet sitter! Very communicative and warm. She was able to accommodate our last minute request, sent us updates and photos of our doggy while we were away, which was very reassuring, and she was flexible and understanding when our ferry delayed our pickup time by almost an hour. We would recommend her and be happy to have her care for our pup again in the future.”

“I can tell Loki absolutely enjoyed his time over there and I don’t think I could’ve picked anyone better to watch him. She really did treat him like her own dog and she kept me updated on all his silliness. Highly recommend!!”

“Kimberly took great care of our Louie girl. Kimberly sent us photos each day we were gone. She also was able to pick up and drop off which was very convenient for us. Would rebook with her for sure!”

“Once again, Marshelle was a great sitter. My boy Buster had a great time with her and her family. When I went to drop him off at her house, he got really excited. He definitely knew where we were going. Highly recommended Marshelle!!”

About: I’ve had and taken care of pets for most of my life. I’m always sensitive to each individual pet. Very tuned in to the comfort of the pet. My friends and family always come to me first for their pet care needs. I’m readily available because I’m recently retired. No time restrictions anymore. Happy to be available last minute or long term. Would love spending my newly found free time with your pet. I think spending time with pets in their familiar environment creates far less stress for the pet. Familiar smells and their own space makes for a much better experience for all.
“It mean so much knowing our dog is somewhere where he is loved and taken care of. Sherri takes care of our dog as well as we would and her communication is awesome. Lots of pictures and stories!”

Kyla & Nicholas are amazing! They took wonderful care of my pup Nala and sent me lots of pictures and updates over the weekend she stayed at their house . They took her on walks , played with her and gave her lots of snuggles . My dog didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. Would definitely recommend!

Jacob was great with our dog! He was very professional and met us before hand. He sent us updates and photos. Our very needy black lab was so well taken care, I’m not sure he was glad to come home! We will definitely book Jacob again and recommend to anyone who has a dog that just really needs attention from people!

We are very happy with Art watching our pup while we are gone and our pup enjoys his stay. Art is very good at communicating and we really enjoy the updates. Art genuinely cares about dogs and we know that our pup is in good hands. Highly recommend Art to watch your furry family members.

This was a great first experience on Rover! We took a two week trip to Japan, Vietnam, and Taiwan and Allison and Carson were fantastic. They sent pictures and updates and overall they just inspired a lot of confidence that our dog was in great hands. They made the process simple and easy and were super flexible about our arrival and departure times. They clearly love and care about animals and hands down will be the first folks we check in with to see if they are available for future trips. 10/10 - will book again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
