She meticulously created a safe, pack-like environment where the dogs felt at home, and the areas were exceptionally clean. Even more impressive were her plans to enhance her already wonderful outdoor space. As a side note, April is a certified dog trainer. Shortly after dropping off my dog and running errands in town, I noticed her diligently and patiently leash-training my dog during a walk, as my GPS took me back past her location. April never mentioned this task on Rover or in person; she simply did it on her own time, free of charge, without boasting. Her quiet integrity and humility are extraordinarily impressive. Mila was so sweet to my senior pup Charlie! This was my first time boarding him with anyone. We FaceTimed before hand which reassured me that Charlie was in good hands, she took notes regarding special routine things he needed and while on my trip Mila sent photo updates that put my mind at ease. Charlie was loved and well taken care of, going to Milas made him feel like a part of the family ! We’ve pre booked with her again and I know Charlie is looking forward to it !
Our dogs had the best time! Samantha sent us pics and a video of them and kept in touch while they were in her care, she obviously is a dog lover and has a lovely clean home and her yard is fully fenced and has a large grassy area . We are so pleased with the whole experience!
When I planned a week-long vacation, I knew I’d have to find a pet sitter for my puppy. For most pet parents, leaving your pet with a stranger can be daunting and anxiety inducing. Thankfully, I left my 6 month old puppy with Adena and her lovely family. Adena might have been a stranger when I dropped Cashew off, but after a day or two it felt like I’d left my sweet puppy with family. She was extremely communicative and answered any and all questions I had. Every day I got updates, photos, and videos of my puppy having the best week ever. Adena’s golden retriever, Glacier, was the sweetest, most patient playmate to my rambunctious puppy. Cashew even bonded with Adena’s daughter, following her around the house like a little shadow. Adena and her family will treat your pets with the same love, care, and compassion that they show their own pets. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Cashew was safe, loved, and having a great vacation of her own! Adena will be the first person I reach out to the next time I need a dog sitter.
