“April was awesome! Pinky had a great time and we got pictures and videos. It was our first time leaving her with a sitter and we were nervous, but we’re put at ease as soon as we arrived. And Pinky is now crate trained!! If we are ever in the area again, we would board with April!”

“My older one hesitant and one with separation anxiety, did well with Sherri. It was 4th of July and the fireworks made every one nervous. She was good about sending messages and photos of the girls to me every day. We where happy and will use her services again. ”

“Mila was so sweet to my senior pup Charlie! This was my first time boarding him with anyone. We FaceTimed before hand which reassured me that Charlie was in good hands, she took notes regarding special routine things he needed and while on my trip Mila sent photo updates that put my mind at ease. Charlie was loved and well taken care of, going to Milas made him feel like a part of the family ! We’ve pre booked with her again and I know Charlie is looking forward to it !”

“Samantha was great with Beau. We were gone for a week and felt like we could enjoy our trip knowing that Beau was in good hands with Samantha and her girls. Will definitely book again knowing that our dog was well taken care of.”

“Angela and her family are the best! I am so grateful to have found her and I always feel good and safe when I leave my precious pup in her care. She’s worth every cent!”

“This is the first time that I leave my dog Murphy with a sitter. I was concerned that he wasn't going to do very well. But oh boy I was mistaken. He adjusted very well to the new environment. That is all thanks to Suzanne. She is very welcoming and made Murphy feel very safe. I will, without no doubt, taking him there when needs arise. Thank you Suzanne and Rover for making this a wonderful first experience.”

“Five stars is not enough!!! AJ deserves 10!! He has watched our girls 2 separate times each for over a week, we received multiple updates, photos and texts from him! We feel so lucky to have found AJ!!! Jill and Spencer”

“Britt is just a terrific sitter. I will not hesitate to leave Celeste and Rocky with her again in the future. When they came home, I could tell they had a wonderful time. All tuckered out. They loved her large grassy fenced in back yard. She and her husband let them sleep on their bed with them, a custom they enjoy at home. He doggie and cat were great company for my babys.”

“My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

“Our maltipoo, Boba, just came back home with us and he seemed happy. Shalini was very accommodating to Boba's needs. I would definitely recommend Shalini and I will definitely use her service again. Thank you, Shalini and family! You guys are awesome!”

“I would recommend Fiorella!! I received daily updates about my cat Lilah and how she was adapting. We were away for many days and it felt like we left Lilah in great hands. Great energy. Thanks!”

“Monica was great!! Very communicative, always sending pictures and updates of how things were going or if there were any questions. Would highly recommend!! Thanks again Monica.”

“Lulu had a great stay. Marshel is very nice and she and her family took good care of her. She sent some cute pictures. She was easy to communicate with and all a great stay.”

“First time using Rover and we lucked out with this last minute booking! Lana and her family are amazing. We were concerned about our Seabass being too anxious at night, but they made him feel very comfortable in their home. Their dog Amy is also very friendly. Seabass got to run around and play with Amy and her kids in their big backyard. He got to see their chickens and enjoyed a bonfire on his first night with them. I appreciate all the updates Lana sent us while we were away. We would definitely have our dog stay at their place again!”

“Padfoot, our St. Bernard had a wonderful stay! Helen, Nikita, and team were great! They sent regular text updates with photos. We loved seeing Padfoot with all of her puppy playmates. She came home very happy, and very tired! She was in good hands and well cared for while we were away. A+++”

“Hayley was such a life saver. She took the best care of my 2 pups when we had to fly out and kept us updated :). She was also so flexible with the timing :) definitely recommend!”

“They were wonderful with our little pomeranian. I was worried about leaving her overnight because she gets separation anxiety, but they sent me lots of videos and pictures and it looks like she had a blast! I would definitely recommend them, they are such a kind and caring couple.”

“I'm so glad I found this place. I've never left my dog with anyone before. He really doesn't like being away from us for even a few hours. I had a 3day trip this week, I left my dog Bear with Marlene all three days. Marlene and her husband are friendly, respectful and detailed in their care. They have a beautiful home with a yard. I would definitely use their service again.”

When I planned a week-long vacation, I knew I’d have to find a pet sitter for my puppy. For most pet parents, leaving your pet with a stranger can be daunting and anxiety inducing. Thankfully, I left my 6 month old puppy with Adena and her lovely family. Adena might have been a stranger when I dropped Cashew off, but after a day or two it felt like I’d left my sweet puppy with family. She was extremely communicative and answered any and all questions I had. Every day I got updates, photos, and videos of my puppy having the best week ever. Adena’s golden retriever, Glacier, was the sweetest, most patient playmate to my rambunctious puppy. Cashew even bonded with Adena’s daughter, following her around the house like a little shadow. Adena and her family will treat your pets with the same love, care, and compassion that they show their own pets. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Cashew was safe, loved, and having a great vacation of her own! Adena will be the first person I reach out to the next time I need a dog sitter.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
