My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. When I planned a week-long vacation, I knew I’d have to find a pet sitter for my puppy. For most pet parents, leaving your pet with a stranger can be daunting and anxiety inducing. Thankfully, I left my 6 month old puppy with Adena and her lovely family. Adena might have been a stranger when I dropped Cashew off, but after a day or two it felt like I’d left my sweet puppy with family. She was extremely communicative and answered any and all questions I had. Every day I got updates, photos, and videos of my puppy having the best week ever. Adena’s golden retriever, Glacier, was the sweetest, most patient playmate to my rambunctious puppy. Cashew even bonded with Adena’s daughter, following her around the house like a little shadow. Adena and her family will treat your pets with the same love, care, and compassion that they show their own pets. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Cashew was safe, loved, and having a great vacation of her own! Adena will be the first person I reach out to the next time I need a dog sitter.
