April was so great with our dog! She’s quick to respond to messages and always sends pics, videos, and updates. April is very knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. I really felt at ease leaving my 5-month-old puppy with her.

April is amazing and her boarding is top notch. We're excited to have found an incredible teacher and can't wait to learn from her so we can get the same amazing results on our walks with our pups. She took the time to get to know us and each of our dogs. Her approach is structured and supportive. I can't recommend her enough!

April is amazing. I've used a few dog sitters before and none can compare to April. Her care of my dog was beyond expectations and her communications and kindness was so appreciated.

Amazing! Such a relief to leave our 1 year old Australian Shepherd with April. She is so knowledgeable and great with our energetic dog! Loved the pictures and video updates we got and eased our minds knowing he was living his best life too! He came back clean and brushed and was clearly spoiled during his stay! Will book again for all our future trips!

Safety, trust & environment

I am licensed and insured in addition to being covered by Rover. Safety is top priority. ALL playtime is supervised to avoid any potential injury. I am a trainer and therefore value structure and pairing the right tempermants together for an enjoyable and safe play session. My facility is stocked with doggy first aid kits, emergency contact info on each guest dog clearly printed, fridge & freezer for dogs who eat Raw, climate controled all year, Impact Crates that are disenfected after each guest dog leaves, kitchen area to clean food bowls daily, treadmill for fulfillment workout, place boards with tie backs to provide structure for dogs who need a little more direction. And a nice indoor open area for play.

Pets

A typical day

I focus on 3 things. Play, Pack Walks, and Nose work. These activities can look different depending on the dog. When the weather is bad, I teach dogs to walk an our indoor treadmill. I am finding dogs LOVE this activity. (much more than I do ha ha) Dogs learn how to take turns in play that is super cool to watch. Hide and Seek is also a super fun game for both of us.

1. I prioritize pets who are kennel-trained. It is a fantastic tool to keep a calm, organized environment for dogs. When I pair up dogs who have similar play styles, the others wait their turn. It’s a win-win on so many levels. 2. Does your dog have any specific dietary restrictions or allergies? 3. How does your dog interact with other dogs and animals? 4. Are there any behavioral or training issues I should be aware of? 5. Does your dog have any medical conditions or require any medication or special care? These questions help me gather important information about your dog's needs, behavior, and any specific instructions or precautions I should take while watching them.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
