Home full time with fenced yard.
I have one friendly golden retriever that is like a third child. We recently lost our elderly golden retriever and Glacier has felt the impact of not having him around. I have one cat that is indoor only that keeps to herself. I also have backyard chickens with a fully enclosed coop. I grew up on a farm and have been an animal lover my entire life. I provide loving attention and play with all animals and encourage play as exercise for dogs. I am home full time and am able to care for your pet’s needs all throughout the day and night. I have a fenced backyard but also take frequent walks and runs and would love to do so with your family member. I can provide baths and brushing as necessary and am comfortable administering medications or following special dietary guidelines. I am happy to oblige any instructions you have for your pet and will provide a loving environment. Cannot wait to meet your pet!

When I planned a week-long vacation, I knew I’d have to find a pet sitter for my puppy. For most pet parents, leaving your pet with a stranger can be daunting and anxiety inducing. Thankfully, I left my 6 month old puppy with Adena and her lovely family. Adena might have been a stranger when I dropped Cashew off, but after a day or two it felt like I’d left my sweet puppy with family. She was extremely communicative and answered any and all questions I had. Every day I got updates, photos, and videos of my puppy having the best week ever. Adena’s golden retriever, Glacier, was the sweetest, most patient playmate to my rambunctious puppy. Cashew even bonded with Adena’s daughter, following her around the house like a little shadow. Adena and her family will treat your pets with the same love, care, and compassion that they show their own pets. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Cashew was safe, loved, and having a great vacation of her own! Adena will be the first person I reach out to the next time I need a dog sitter.

Great Experience! Adena was great with communicating and was accommodating with pick up and drop off schedule. Excellent about providing updates and asking questions as they came up during our dogs stay with her. We had a larger dog and a smaller dog. Dogs returned home happy. Very pleased. Highly recommend and we will be using her again.
Maggie is always so happy to go to Adena's home. Her little kiddos love her up and the other pooches always wear her completely out.
Maggie sure he excited now when she sees where we are headed. Nothing but fun had there and it shows! I'm so grateful for Adena and her family for being such a good place to be.

I am home full time. I do take my kids to school in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. But it takes less than an hour.

A typical day
Walks, park visits, backyard play and indoor stimulation are all important for pets and I take care to provide each of those things. Treats are important and I try to keep pets engaged and stimulated to avoid boredom.
