“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! This was my first Rover experience and I couldn’t be happier using Kristen! She gave thorough updates each visit and provided many pictures. She was more than accommodating with the weird schedule we had. I highly recommend Kristen and she even gave extra love to the additional indoor and outdoor animals (she was only responsible for one dog!). I am so glad to know we have someone to check on Rosie and the other animals during future travels. Thank you Kristen!!! 🫶🏽”

About: My passion for pet care started early—I grew up with two Miniature Australian Shepherds who taught me just how much love, energy, and attention dogs need to thrive. Since then, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages, from spunky puppies to mellow seniors, and everything in between. Whether it’s an energetic walk, a calm overnight stay, or just some extra snuggles, I adapt to each dog’s unique personality and needs. As a surgical trauma ICU nurse, I work night shifts, so my schedule can vary week to week. However, on my days off, I love spending time caring for pets—it’s a rewarding and relaxing way to recharge. My flexible schedule allows me to offer personalized, attentive care when I’m off the clock. Whether it’s dog walking, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I make sure each pet gets the love and attention they deserve. Caring for animals brings me joy, and I treat every one like part of the family. I have a fully fenced-in yard for supervised playtime and potty breaks, and I always follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and happy. When caring for pets in your home, I’m respectful of your space and keep your pet’s day-to-day life consistent—whether that’s their favorite walking route, feeding schedule, or bedtime routine. I’m all about clear communication and sending updates, so you always know your pet is in good hands.

About: Having had the privilege of sharing my life with two German Shepherds, a lively Dalmatian, and an affectionate Miniature Schnauzer, my journey as a dedicated pet enthusiast has been nothing short of rewarding. From daily walks to engaging playtime, I've cultivated a deep understanding of each breed's unique needs, ensuring their well-being and happiness. During my undergraduate years at IU, my commitment to canine companions extended beyond my own pets. I took on the responsibility of babysitting for two additional German Shepherds, seamlessly integrating them into my routine. The experience not only enhanced my multitasking skills but also solidified my passion for fostering strong bonds with these remarkable animals. Through this collective experience, I've honed my ability to cater to diverse personalities and temperaments, providing not just care but genuine companionship. My approach blends responsibility with an authentic love for animals, creating a trustworthy and enjoyable environment for both pets and their owners. I am a recent graduate looking for full time work. I am free basically any day of the week, or night! I am available at your most immediate needs, as well as any future needs for service. In the comfort of my own home and the homes of my clients, I've cultivated a nurturing environment for pets that goes beyond the basics of care. Whether it's my two German Shepherds, a lively Dalmatian, and a Miniature Schnauzer or the beloved pets of clients, each furry friend is welcomed into a space where their well-being and happiness take center stage. My approach involves not just meeting the essential needs of pets but ensuring they feel at ease and loved. From cozy sleeping spots to tailored play areas, I prioritize creating an environment that mirrors the warmth of a home. Regular walks, engaging playtime, and personalized attention characterize the daily routine, fostering a sense of security and joy. When caring for pets in clients' homes, I extend this personal touch, ensuring their routines and preferences are seamlessly integrated into my care plan. Trust and communication are key, as I work closely with pet owners to understand the unique needs and quirks of each animal. By providing a familiar and loving atmosphere, both in my own home and clients' homes, I aim to make the experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible for every pet in my care.

About: I have been raised with a pet by side. When I have born we had two brittany spaniels that have since passed on. In 8th grade, after they passed, we adopted another puppy brittany. A year later, we adopted another, to have our current pair of brittanys. So I have experience raising puppies as well. I play with them outdoors and indoors, brush them, clean up their poop, bath them, feed them, and train them. They also get taken on walks at the local forest preserve for stimulation. I have experience in caring for fish and snakes. Between dogs, I had my cat to keep me company. She is solely my cat, so she got the same attention as the dogs, plus I bought her toys, treats, litter, and food. Outside of my dogs I have pet sit goldens labs, goldendoodles, springer spaniels, and many other breeds. As in my headline, I don't think any animal is low maintenance. That just means the pet isn't getting the care it deserves. I had my cat at my dorm first semester, and I fed her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I made sure to play with twice a day and we played birds on the tv for stimulation as well. I had a weekly schedule to brush her twice a week, and clean the litter box every Sunday and Wednesday. At home I would alternate playing with my dogs, training, and brushing them whenever possible. I can play indoors and outdoors. I can take the animal for walks. Clean up any potential messes, such as muddy dogs or if a cat has a hairball. I can accompany senior pets that need help eating. I can brush the animal. And feed them, and do basic training.
