About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover based on a 10-acre homestead in Pageland, SC. I specialize in structured, safe boarding with supervised outdoor time and secure indoor accommodations. We have a brand-new 6-foot wooden privacy fence enclosing our backyard, providing a secure area for dogs to exercise, stretch, and explore during supervised potty breaks and play sessions. Guests stay in our large climate-controlled sunroom outfitted with seven kennels, giving each dog their own secure space to rest comfortably between outdoor time, meals, and enrichment. Crate rotation and routine breaks are built into our daily schedule, ensuring dogs have consistency and predictability. Crate & House Access Policy • Crating is standard when we are away or sleeping, and during rest periods. • Potty breaks are offered approximately every 2 hours during waking hours. • For older, calm, fully house-trained, non-destructive, and cat-friendly dogs, free-roam house access may be considered on a case-by-case basis with owner request and compatibility assessment. • Dogs with separation anxiety, destructive tendencies, or unsafe habits (counter-surfing, door-bolting, etc.) will remain on our structured crate schedule for their safety. Experience & Approach I’ve owned and cared for everything from hedgehogs and geckos to chickens, horses, and working-breed dogs. I’m comfortable with: • Medication administration (oral or topical) • Senior dogs • Puppies & house-training stages • Reactive or shy personalities • High-energy dogs who require clear routines • Multi-dog coexistence and safe rotations My husband runs his own business and is home most of the time, ensuring someone is almost always present for supervision, potty break intervals, and routine care. I am home evenings and weekends, and we work together to provide structure, security, and consistent monitoring. What You Can Expect • Individual crate spaces (no shared kennels) • 6-ft fully fenced private yard • Consistent potty break schedule (≈ every 2 hours) • Supervised outdoor time only • Optional house freedom only if fully compatible • Daily updates, photos, and communication We focus on safe, predictable, and tailored care based on each dog’s needs and the comfort level of their owner. Whether a pup thrives with structured crate rest or enjoys calm, supervised sunroom naps, we tailor stays responsibly rather than one-size-fits-all. I work full-time as an insurance producer in Monroe, NC from 8–5, Monday through Friday. I’m home all day on weekends, and during the week, my husband is at our homestead full-time and helps provide care and supervision. Since we work as a team, your pets will never be left alone for long periods. I’m also available for morning or evening drop-ins and walks depending on location and schedule! We live on a peaceful 10-acre homestead. We do not allow free play with other pets - so you know that your furry friend is safe and sound the entire stay! They will have supervised playtime with other pups from the same household, or with just our staff! Our top priority is a safe stay.

About: Over the last 12 years, I’ve cared for dogs of every temperament, including shy rescues and sweet seniors. I’m working from home, so I am very flexible to offer my services! Since I work from home, I have a highly flexible schedule! I'm available for daytime drop-ins, flexible boarding, and plenty of active breaks. Your pet will enjoy consistent attention and companionship all day long. Since I am home all day, they will enjoy constant company, cozy nap spots, and frequent potty and play breaks in a safe, fully supervised environment. About: I have had experience with dogs for 18 years, ever since my parents got a dog for us when I was 8 years old and I had to help train it and care for it. Ever since, my family has had more dogs i’ve helped train and care for, and I have had roommates and friends with dogs that I’ve helped train and care for (including puppies, service dogs, and dogs who are elderly/ill). I am a consistent cat caretaker ever since I turned 19, when I got my first cat (7 years ago). Ever since, I have felt drawn to care for kitties and have fostered many kittens and cats since, in addition to caring for my own 2. I owned a ball python for a year or two, and my father has for six years. My sister also owned a leopard gecko for five years. I also cared for multiple guinea pigs to help out a friend for a long time. I’ve also had friends and family that have had birds that I have helped care for in the past, however, I have less experience with them. In conclusion, no matter the type, breed, size, age or health of your pet, it is important to me to make our companions/partners in life feel loved and cared for, and I would be honored to be a part of that! It is a large portion of my daily routine as is, and I would love for it to be an even larger part, especially if this could help provide means to live for my pets and I (finances) because due to certain conditions I am unable to work a normal job. About: I’m the owner of Barnyard Pet Retreat. I do dog/cat boarding out of my own home. It’s my full time job so I’ll be with them at all times. I have multiple dogs of my own and I am home full time. So, your fur babies will be monitored and loved at all times! I have a great potty routine that my dogs are currently on. I have anywhere from small dogs to big dogs in my household so your fur baby will have a lot of company. I can cage your dogs if needed or my own for your fur baby’s comfort.

About: When I was young my family raised puppies and I loved taking care of them. I had 5 dogs growing up from Shih Tzus to Dobermans. I got my own personal dog, an Australian Shepherd during college and he was my absolute best friend. He was by my side all through out college and during every move there after until I unexpectedly lost him April of 2023. I will ensure that your babies are treated well. I currently am a stay at home dog and human mama, so I am able to provide hands on care all day. I am able to walk and let your dogs out at any time during the day. If they like being outside I have a deck that they are able to lay on if they want to. My dog is allowed on all furniture and beds, as will your dogs. We will treat your babies as our own. We have a separate living area in the basement for any animals that need their own space as well.

About: I was raised with dogs my whole life. Iv done everything from helping with birthing to providing comfortable space for our fur babies to go to heaven I’m a stay at home dog mom. I enjoy being at home with my fur babies playing outside/enjoying the weather making happy memories and moments I have a fenced yard and two friendly girl fur babies that love to play with other dogs and get zoomies all around my spacious fenced yard.

About: I was raised with dogs and have been affectionately referred to as “the dog whisperer” all my life. I have lots of experience with rescue animals because my family helps transport, foster, and support them. I have delivered newborn puppies, given flea treatments, and handled cats & dogs of all temperaments, abilities, shapes, and sizes. My calm confidence is a great comfort to the anxious hearts in my care. I look forward to meeting your family and learning all their lovable quirks! I live at home with my parents so while it is difficult for me to board animals at my house with my dogs, my parents are home and can care for our animals when I am gone. I petsit full time so most days it is just me and the animal(s) I am caring for. Depending on their regular schedule, I try to keep their daily routine intact. My house has a fenced in yard with a dog door to a screened in porch that my dogs love. If I am watching a social dog, I will check with the owners and invite them over to play. My house has seen many rescue transports and one of my dogs is a foster fail so my house is already chaos proofed. I usually prefer to keep up the owners daily routine by staying in their house and feeding their animals at the same time and in their usual spots. It is a comfort to not change everything about their environment while they are anxious. When I take them on a walks, I usually let the dog show me the way as they know the regular route by heart. If they are older and nap 10x a day or if they are energetic and play fetch 3x a day then that is what we do, it really depends on each family’s individual needs.

About: I grew up in a household caring for pets of every kind; cats, dogs, birds! Fish! I currently have a puppy of my own and pet-sit often for friends and family as well! I’m working part time, typically no more than three days a week, and taking online classes this summer for college. My availability is mostly during the week, and occasionally Saturdays, starting at early mornings after I care for my own dog Making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in the absence of their primary caregiver is my top priority. Having a dog who’s wary of strangers, I understand and am completely committed to doing what I was hired to do and making sure pets get the care they deserve no matter the level of introversion or anxiety.

About: I love animals and I know people say that but I truly do. I have been working with animals since I could walk and I’ve never not had a pet whether it was a dog cat or hamster I’ve even had snakes. I now have a new dog and a cat and I would love to help others with there animals when needed because I understand completely that it is needed a lot. I currently work in landscaping so my hours are 6 in the morning and we’re usually off by 5 maybe 6 and occasionally I get off earlier or have daysoff. I am also free on weekends I have church on Sundays but that only takes about an hour of the day. I have 2 pets in my own home now so it’s a lot easier to do house sitting instead of in home care and my boyfriend watches my animals while I’m away. I am free to spend the night at anytime and even just sit with the animals for hours on end and the animals will always come first before any other plans.

“Our German shepherd (Zeus) is a very anxious, does not like other dogs, does not take treats from people either, some may say aggressive but really, he’s just scared.we needed to find a person that could handle him, in other words know how to take the lead, show him “it’s okay” . We were amazed at how quickly she created a bond with him! Jack has the talent/skill and knowledge for taking care of big anxious dogs and sassy ones too. Recommend 10 out of 10. Now we can take vacations!!”

About: My family owned dogs and cats all my life. Once I got old enough to take on responsibility, I started feeding, bathing, walking, and cleaning up after my pets. I love pets of all kind and I've owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and guinea pigs. I currently have 8 dogs of my own which are 7 American bullies and one Boston Terrier (Abel, Nyx, Hella, Cash, Holly, Buckshot, Zarah, and Maddie) a gecko named Leroy, and a baby quaker parrot, named Sully. I am very familiar and comfortable with all size of dogs as I have owned so many different breeds over the years. From Great danes to small dogs. I love spending time with my pets as well as getting to know and spend time with others. I understand the importance of doing what is asked by the owner of the pets! If you want someone that is a huge animal lover and who is reliable and trustworthy, look no further! I can't wait to hear from you and meet your fur baby !! I currently work full time, my days off vary and change a lot due to be being in management. I am normally available early in the day. If we have already pre booked something, and my work schedule changes, I will still make accommodations to make sure your baby is taken care of! While caring for your pet inside your home, I will do exactly what you ask of me and treat your fur baby and your property with respect. I will love and care for your baby as if they were my own and make sure the house is left in the same condition it was in before I arrived.
