“If Ollie could write reviews, Melissa would have a five-star rating and treats for life. We recently had Melissa house sit for our golden retriever Ollie, and from the moment she arrived, it was clear she was exactly the kind of person you hope to find on Rover. Ollie warmed up to her instantly. We never had to wonder how Ollie was doing because she kept us updated with frequent check-in pictures. As a pet owner, that peace of mind is everything! She also went above and beyond with Ollie's exercise — multiple walks a day to keep him stimulated and happy. She clearly understands that a tired golden is a good golden! We came home to a content, well-cared-for Ollie, and he is already missing her. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, look no further. We will absolutely be booking Melissa again. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Alison was absolutely amazing and we cannot recommend her enough! Not only did our animals love her, but she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving them. We are so happy to have found such an amazing sitter that we will be using for all our future needs!!”

About: I’ve cared for everything from tiny bottle-fed kittens and puppies to vocal Australian Shepherds, senior pets, my diabetic cat (including administering insulin), chickens, reptiles, and even a tarantula back in my school days. From young pets to wise seniors, I’m steady, patient, and love adapting to each personality—and special needs are no problem at all. It fits into my daily routine. I take care of two cats, an 18 month old girl named Pepa. Very vocal, demanding, and playful. I also take care of my diabetic cat sikes. He is a thirteen year old ragdoll. Administering his insulin shots 12 hours apart and feeding him 3 times a day. I work from 8:30-5:15 pm M-F as I work an office job. After and before that I’m typically at home. I’m more than willing to meet you and your pet family before you decide to work with me. I want to make sure that you feel confident in my abilities and trust me with your loved ones. Due to my senior cat I am unable to care for your pets at my home. Although I am down for just about anything else. I respect the owners not just through the care of their pets, but the care of their homes. I’ll take the trash out, turn the lights on and off, and smile to your neighbors.
“Thank you so much for caring and taking care of our cats!!! I really appreciate you caring about their safety and wellbeing as much as we do, and I genuinely appreciate all of the communications and pictures. We will definitely use you again!”

“Samantha was absolutely incredible! From the very beginning she was easy to communicate with, flexible, and so helpful. Since I would be traveling for the holidays, this was my first time having to use Rover to find a dog-sitter for more than a couple hours. Samantha made me feel comfortable and confident that Rex was in the best of hands. Rex is a rescue and he has his quirks but Samantha was loving and willing to take care of him and attend to his specific needs. I will 100% look to Samantha for any more dog-sitting needs and highly, HIGHLY recommend. She even put the sheets and towels through the wash and vacuumed so I came home to a clean house A clean house and a happy pup is beyond what I could have asked for. Thank you!!”

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life and even teach the strangest animals (high schoolers) during the year. Currently trying to survive the summer by doing something I love which hopefully will be relaxing with your pets! I’m currently on summer break so my schedule is VERY flexible. “Booked with Cameron for an evening away. He was very good with my three pups. He sent photos and asked questions that evening if he was unsure of something rather than assuming or guessing. I will be booking with Cameron again for longer trips away in the future.”

“Stephanie took amazing care of my cat and was an overall pleasure to work with! She genuinely cares about each pet and pays attention to detail. She also does an incredible job communicating and keeping you updated on how your baby is doing during her stay and she sends lots of cute photos too! Your fur babies will be in excellent hands with her!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover based on a 10-acre homestead in Pageland, SC. I specialize in structured, safe boarding with supervised outdoor time and secure indoor accommodations. We have a brand-new 6-foot wooden privacy fence enclosing our backyard, providing a secure area for dogs to exercise, stretch, and explore during supervised potty breaks and play sessions. Guests stay in our large climate-controlled sunroom outfitted with seven kennels, giving each dog their own secure space to rest comfortably between outdoor time, meals, and enrichment. Crate rotation and routine breaks are built into our daily schedule, ensuring dogs have consistency and predictability. Crate & House Access Policy • Crating is standard when we are away or sleeping, and during rest periods. • Potty breaks are offered approximately every 2 hours during waking hours. • For older, calm, fully house-trained, non-destructive, and cat-friendly dogs, free-roam house access may be considered on a case-by-case basis with owner request and compatibility assessment. • Dogs with separation anxiety, destructive tendencies, or unsafe habits (counter-surfing, door-bolting, etc.) will remain on our structured crate schedule for their safety. Experience & Approach I’ve owned and cared for everything from hedgehogs and geckos to chickens, horses, and working-breed dogs. I’m comfortable with: • Medication administration (oral or topical) • Senior dogs • Puppies & house-training stages • Reactive or shy personalities • High-energy dogs who require clear routines • Multi-dog coexistence and safe rotations My husband runs his own business and is home most of the time, ensuring someone is almost always present for supervision, potty break intervals, and routine care. I am home evenings and weekends, and we work together to provide structure, security, and consistent monitoring. What You Can Expect • Individual crate spaces (no shared kennels) • 6-ft fully fenced private yard • Consistent potty break schedule (≈ every 2 hours) • Supervised outdoor time only • Optional house freedom only if fully compatible • Daily updates, photos, and communication We focus on safe, predictable, and tailored care based on each dog’s needs and the comfort level of their owner. Whether a pup thrives with structured crate rest or enjoys calm, supervised sunroom naps, we tailor stays responsibly rather than one-size-fits-all. I work full-time as an insurance producer in Monroe, NC from 8–5, Monday through Friday. I’m home all day on weekends, and during the week, my husband is at our homestead full-time and helps provide care and supervision. Since we work as a team, your pets will never be left alone for long periods. I’m also available for morning or evening drop-ins and walks depending on location and schedule! We live on a peaceful 10-acre homestead. We do not allow free play with other pets - so you know that your furry friend is safe and sound the entire stay! They will have supervised playtime with other pups from the same household, or with just our staff! Our top priority is a safe stay.
