About: We lost our last little guy in February 2024. It’s the first time in 35+ years without at least one dog under the same roof, and it’s felt like something essential is missing. I have such a love for dogs, and would love to pass that on to yours while you have to be away from them. That’s my main reason for being a Rover Sitter. I’m semi-retired and work from home, so your dog(s) will get my full attention. Your dog(s) will get care, love, playtime and exercise. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. If you've got a senior, I am very experienced in that care, whether simple TLC, boosts when standing, meds, multiple bathroom breaks, etc. Our dogs were allowed on the furniture, and slept on the bed with us; I respect and will follow your rules for that, though. For those who like to sleep in their own "den," I have a lot of experience with crate training also. I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first visit to make sure everybody's comfortable -- both canine and human. Photos and updates are happily available while you're away. I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I can sit with your dog(s) any day of the week and/or weekend. About: Former animal rescuer and vet tech available to sit for your pets. Now retired from FT career, I have all day to care for your pets. You can trust my experience and age to handle your pets responsibly and respectfully. I’ve recently retired from a 20 year career and have all day to care for your pets. I’d love to pour attention into the job, playing with a rambunctious puppy or taking extra time calming an anxious kitty. I worked as a veterinary technician through college, so I have experience administering medications, including by syringe. I have a fenced in backyard. My own cats would be segregated in a separate part of the house so as not to stress your pets or be stressed by them. Cats would not be allowed outside while boarding, as my own cats aren’t, due to too many potential dangers in nature.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

“We had an excellent experience all around. Madison was able to help us out on short notice and took perfect care of our dog and bunny. We’ve never used a dog sitter before and now we will never use a kennel again. Thanks Madison!”

“Kenzie always does a wonderful job caring for our cats while we are away. She even takes time to get to know their personalities and you can just tell she truly cares about them. She’s amazing! We are so thankful for her!”

“Haley is THE best!!! She was so great with my babies and patient when my dog was a little uneasy on her first visit! Always on time and responds to texts in a timely manner. She was willing to adjust to a changing schedule as well. I will definitely be requesting her again and always! She deserves more than a 5-star review!!!”

“We’re so grateful to have found Erika! From our very first meet and greet, she was warm, knowledgeable, and instantly connected with both of our labs. Finn (our 10-week-old puppy) and Riley (our 6-year-old). Erika’s background in animal care is clear in how she handles every interaction, and her deep understanding of dog behavior puts us completely at ease. She has now visited our home multiple times and has been incredibly accommodating as my husband and I adjust to our new work schedules. Erika consistently goes the extra mile to ensure both dogs are comfortable, safe, and well cared for. It’s clear she truly loves what she does, and our pups love her right back. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Bradley has done drop-in visits for our cat, Fern, twice now and both at last minutes notice. Fern is always happy to see her and well cared for. It’s so nice to get pictures of their play time. She even helped out with watering our garden while we were away. Thank you Bradley!”
