“Becca did a fantastic job watching our senior dog, Jamie, while we took a 9-day family trip. She gave us daily updates, expertly maintained Jamie’s normal routines, and gave her plenty of attention. When we returned, Jamie wasn’t showing any of the signs of stress she normally displays when we have been away.”

“Joanne immediately won over my pups, even my shy boy who usually takes his time warming up to someone. She sent me pics throughout the day and even extended her stay because one of my girls was nervous because of a thunderstorm. My dogs love her which means everything!”

“Elizabeth doesn't just sit your dogs she adopts them. Our Ella got very sick while we were gone and Elizabeth took such good care of her and kept us informed. I really can't say enough about how Elizabeth went out of her way to take care of our sick girl, her genuine concern and compassion was matched by actions.”

“Lyn was timely, kind, and did a great job taking care of our home and our three animals. I would book her again in a heartbeat. Our fur babies loved her and our high anxiety dog was glued to her side the whole time. He felt so comfortable with her.”

“Anne was amazing! She took my dog on hikes, walks, adventures and kept me in the loop over the weekend. She treated him so well! House was clean, I felt completely relaxed the entire wknd, she truly went above and beyond for my little guy. I could tell my dog was happy with her!”

About: Former animal rescuer and vet tech available to sit for your pets. Now retired from FT career, I have all day to care for your pets. You can trust my experience and age to handle your pets responsibly and respectfully. I’ve recently retired from a 20 year career and have all day to care for your pets. I’d love to pour attention into the job, playing with a rambunctious puppy or taking extra time calming an anxious kitty. I worked as a veterinary technician through college, so I have experience administering medications, including by syringe. I have a fenced in backyard. My own cats would be segregated in a separate part of the house so as not to stress your pets or be stressed by them. Cats would not be allowed outside while boarding, as my own cats aren’t, due to too many potential dangers in nature.

“Elizabeth was communicative and reliable while I was away. She sent regular updates, took great care of my pup, and even watered the outdoor plants, which I really appreciated. I came home to a happy pet and everything in good shape. Thank you!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Eric! He came over to meet my stranger-danger pup a few days before I went out of town and has above and beyond to make sure my dog is safe, comfortable and well cared for while I’m gone! The updates I’ve gotten throughout my trip have reassured me that they are having a great time while I travel. I’ll definitely be having him pet sit again!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received! Reghan was fantastic and very communicative. She provided regular updates throughout her stay and sent great photos of our dog throughout! She also communicated any questions she had about our home during her stay, which helped us ensure she was comfortable while watching our dog. It was clear when we came home that our dog was happy, healthy, and comfortable. We look forward to booking with Reghan again for our future trips!”

About: We have had horses, cows, chickens, goats, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, you name it. I am very good at communicating with them and making them feel at home. I am a nursing student in need of a good paying job with a flexible schedule. This opportunity seemed perfect to me especially since outside of class I don’t get to interact with animals a lot! My home is very safe. Our fields have fences around them and I would keep your fur babies on leashes if they need to be!

About: Hi, I’m Cassie! I’ve been pet sitting for over 4 years and have experience with animals of all ages from playful puppies to sweet senior pets who need a little extra care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family, and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs medication, a slow walk, or just some cozy company, I’ve got it covered. I'm reliable, easygoing, and happy to work with your pet’s unique needs and routine. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work morning shifts at Starbucks and am usually home between 2–4 PM, which gives me plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I’m also a full-time student at UNCA, but I only have classes two days a week so my schedule stays flexible and reliable for pet care. I make it a priority to give each pet the time, attention, and love they deserve When caring for pets in my client’s home, I prioritize making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I respect the home environment by keeping things clean, calm, and consistent. I stick closely to each pet’s routine whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, or bedtime rituals to help them feel secure while you're away. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, and I keep owners updated with regular photos and messages for peace of mind.

“This was our first time using Rover and Blair was amazing!! Blair watched our 4 dogs (large & small) for 4 days and stayed the night with them, she sent us pictures and gave us daily updates. We could not have asked for better care for our fur babies. I would highly recommend Blair to anyone that needs care for their dogs, we will definitely be using Blair again!!”

About: I'm a wildlife biologist and lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I've looked after pets for friends and family for years and have two beloved cats of my own. I've also volunteered at nature centers and helped care for farm animals, giving me a unique background in both domestic and wild animal care. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or needs extra TLC, I bring patience, responsibility, and genuine love to every visit. I work full time, so mornings before 8 am, evenings after 4pm and weekends work best for me! Within those hours, my schedule is flexible, so I’m available for daily drop-ins, walks, or extended stays. Whether it's an evening walk or feeding, or just playtime and cuddles, I’m happy to fit your pet's needs into my routine. I have an open yard for a dog to run around/play in, but it is not fenced in. I live close to parks and would be happy to take them on walks there as well! I have a comfortable home with plenty of comfy spaces for them to relax in as well.

“This was our first time using a dog/house sitter and it was perfect! Johnny was terrific and we can't thank him enough. We can't wait to plan another trip and know that our pups are being cared for like we care for them. Thank you! Thank you!”

“Lynsey is wonderful! She provided loving care for our dog and parrot for 10 days in October 2022. We especially appreciated her regular updates including photos. Thank you again, Lynsey!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kate is a rockstar! We left Kate in charge of our very complicated farm crew: two giant livestock guardian dogs (like “personal security detail” but fluffier), goats, chickens, a working barn cat, a porch cat, and the “orange boys” (our food-motivated indoor/outdoor cats). She handled it all like an absolute pro. We’ve had pet sitters before, but Kate is next level; a true Animal Whisperer. From the start, she was organized, asked all the right questions, and really took the time to understand how our place works. While we were gone, she kept us updated with sweet photo messages and little notes about everyone’s day. She managed to charm our big intimidating dogs and convince a broody chicken to give up her eggs (no surprise chicks for us, thanks to Kate!). When we came home, the animals were happy, the house was spotless, and it honestly looked like no one had even stayed here. Our critters were all clearly smitten. Kate is kind, capable, and genuinely great with animals. Highly recommend her to anyone… unless you were hoping to hire her the same week we need her again. 😉”
