Carolina was excellent out of the gate! She speaks in a low but firm voice and waits until the dog is in a calm state before proceeding. Buddy loved his walk!

About: I have always had family pets since I was born. Currently own 2 cats, 2 tortoises, 1 bearded dragon, 1 aquatic turtle & a pit-terrier 😄 One day I'm hoping to open an animal rescue! I am a stay at home mom, wife and full time student at GCU. My days are filled with being a mom taxi, volunteering at schools, hanging with my own pets and studying. I'm pretty flexible during the week. Even more flexible if I can bring a kid or two along when needed! I would love to be able to care for your pet in your home where they feel the most safe and have all of their daily items needed to care for them.

Experience You Can Trust: Whether it’s playful puppies, and independent cats. I have hands-on experience with various animals. 24/7 Communication: I provide real-time updates, photos, and videos so you can feel connected and assured while you’re away. Flexible & Reliable: I adapt to your schedule and offer last-minute availability for emergencies. Genuine Love for Animals: Caring for pets isn’t just a job—it’s my passion. Your furry (or feathered!) friend is treated like family." As a remote insurance adjuster with a 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule, I’ve mastered the art of balancing work and pet care. Here’s how pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine: Morning Routine: I start the day early, ensuring pets are fed, walked, and ready for the day before logging into work. Lunch Break Bonding: My lunch break is dedicated to giving pets the attention they deserve—whether it’s a refreshing walk, playtime, or a quick cuddle session. Midday Check-Ins: Throughout the day, I provide comfort and care during short work breaks, ensuring they always feel loved and looked after. Evening TLC: After work, I focus on quality time, be it another walk, play session, or simply relaxing together. My structured schedule ensures every pet gets the care and affection they need without compromising my professional responsibilities. For me, pet care isn’t just a task—it’s a fulfilling part of my day. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so your fur baby will get plenty of attention throughout the day. I have a cozy, pet-friendly space and can provide walks during my lunch break to keep them active and happy. If your dog prefers quiet time, I can create a comfortable, crate-friendly setup as needed. Whether they enjoy playtime or just relaxing, your pup will feel right at home with me.

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated animal care professional and current veterinary technician student with over 20 years of hands-on pet sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, and small household mammals including guinea pigs, rabbits, and other pocket pets. Animals have always been at the center of my life, and I take pride in providing compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable care tailored to each pet’s unique personality and needs. In addition to my pet sitting background, I spent 14 years actively involved in cat rescue, giving me extensive experience with neonatal kittens, senior pets, behavioral challenges, medication administration, and animals requiring extra patience and specialized attention. My veterinary technician training has further strengthened my skills in animal health, safety, behavior monitoring, and emergency awareness, allowing me to confidently care for pets of all ages and medical needs. Whether your pet needs energetic playtime, calm companionship, medication support, or simply a reliable and loving caregiver while you’re away, I strive to create a safe, stress-free experience for both pets and owners. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your animals, and I treat every pet like family. I'm currently working for a local animal shelter until 3pm Sunday through Thursday, being fully available Friday and Saturday weekly. I am looking into an externship opportunity to further my vet tech career, which means my availability will be almost full time in the near future to be available for pet sitting clients I have one dog and three cats myself, of which are equivalent to my own children being as I never had human children. My dog Chip is my world, and my cats are my babies. I have a large fully fenced in backyard, with a pool to cool off in in the summer months.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
