“Michael was wonderful with my dog Shelby. He showed up on time each day, and was gentle and patient with her. (She was reluctant to go out sometimes). He communicated with me each day about how it went. Shelby acquainted herself quickly with Michael and started to look forward to her walks. I would highly recommend him. He's definitely a dog lover and is responsible and communicative. Thanks Mike!”

About: Have often looked after our family dog, as well as our neighbor's dogs. They have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. My schedule changes every week. I work two jobs, one full time and one part time. I do work on the weekends as well, but my full-time job is so close to home, that I can stop home as many times as I want to check on your dog. My part time job sometimes takes longer, but my family live just around the corner, and, if needed, I can have my dad check for me, as he is recently retired. Your dog will never be left alone for an extended period of time. Never ever. My condo is small with only one floor. I do not have a yard, so I will have to keep them inside while I am not home. If you have a crate that you prefer them to reside in when no one is home with them, please provide it. I am 1,000% okay with them having free reign around the condo when I am not there. It will give them a chance to move around and stretch their legs.

About: Living alone I will make sure your dog gets all the attention it needs. Grew up with dogs and have always loved to be around them. I will make sure to take your dog to the park and feed them when it’s time. I might not have much experience sitting but my life has always been surrounded by pets. I do have a full time job as an engineer but I have a hybrid schedule where I can work at home and in the office. I will be available most weekends and during the week when I work from home. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex with a little dog park. Your dog will be free to roam in my apartment I do not mind them being on couches. I will make sure to take them on walks, feed them, and give them all the attention they need

“Very prompt and was terrific with our pet. Strongly recommend her!”

“Lauren was so awesome with my dog, Pixie! She made the effort to meet beforehand and listened to my concerns, and provided the details I asked for in the Rover card. Thanks for everything, Lauren!”

About: I have been a zoo keeper for the past 3 years, and have worked with animals of all sizes and temperaments. I grew up with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and have lived with a yellow lab. I have spent time looking after family and friends’ pets many times before! I recently left my job of 3+ years at the Philadelphia Zoo and am in-between jobs looking for a job in the animal care business. I am largely free during the week and weekends, days and night! I do not have the availability to house pets at my home, but I am very willing to travel to the destination that is needed!

About: I love dogs and they bring me so much joy. I promise to give your dog tons of love, attention, and cuddles when they are in my care. I have the pleasure of watching my friends dog every time they travel; I always provide the family with updates, photos and videos. I am retired now so I do have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I am also an early riser so early morning drop ins aren't a problem. As mentioned above I am retired so I have tons of flexibility in my schedule and early morning drop-ins/walks are not a problem. I absolutely love to go on walks, I typically walk 4 -6 miles a day on my own so long walks with your dog would be highly enjoyable! Please let me know all your pets' needs ahead of time so I can provide your dog/cat with the proper care; i.e., if your dog and/or cat takes medication, likes a certain toy, or if your they don't like certain things, etc. Knowing all your pets needs ahead of time will help me throughout the booking. Also for walking requests, please let me know how your pup does on walks, i.e., if they pull a lot or react to other dogs while walking, etc. The more information I know ahead of time the better so I can plan accordingly.

“Melissa is great! Our dog is particular and has some fearfulness but she handles him well and followed any routines and tips we gave her. She is very respectful of his needs. Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my 10 years of personal experience caring for pets while their owners are away on vacation. Over the years, I’ve built strong trust with families who rely on me to provide consistent, loving, and responsible care. I treat every pet as if they were my own—whether it’s an energetic puppy who needs playtime and basic training or a senior dog who needs extra patience and gentle care. I’m attentive to routines, detail-oriented with feeding and medication, and always make sure pets feel safe, comforted, and loved while their humans are away. Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily and weekly routine. I enjoy being active and love spending time outdoors, so daily walks, playtime, and check-ins fit seamlessly into my schedule. I prioritize consistency and make sure pets stay on their normal routine, whether that means early morning walks, mealtime schedules, or evening cuddles. Because I’m organized and reliable, I can easily balance multiple visits or overnight stays while still giving each pet the personal attention they deserve. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly enjoy. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and stick closely to their instructions so their pet feels secure and stress-free. I keep up with regular walks, playtime, and updates to the owner so they know their pet is well cared for. Whether it’s a short visit or overnight stay, I make sure every pet gets the same level of love, attention, and reliability as if they were my own.
