About: I’ve taken care of my Tibetan Mastiff since before I can remember, and I’m my go-to neighborhood dog walker/caretaker. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs! I’m currently an online student at MNSU, so anytime during the weekday for boarding and walking is entirely open. Weekends work for specific dates and times. I have a reliable mode of transportation and I love taking care of animals. Whether it’s bathing, feeding, walking, or just sitting with a dog, I love to be there. I have grown up with a fear reactive dog, so I have experience with reading dog’s body language and reacting accordingly.

About: I walked dogs with a company for 4 years while living in New York City. The company specialized in individual household care, walking only the dogs of the household at a time. So no mess of leashes, just one-on-one (or two) dogs at a time. (I even got to walk Jimmy Buffett's dogs while working there) I cared for all manner and breed of dog, from ones that never ran out of energy and loved everyone, to dogs that just wanted to sit on the couch and didn't care about other dogs. And before that, my family always had at least one dog around while my mother trained puppies to be service animals. I have also provided care for cats over the years, having lived with them and cared for cats in dog/cat homes. My care for animals runs deep, and I love to see them get what they need to really be happy and healthy. I pay close attention to each animal and try to understand what they need and meet them where they're at, from unruly puppies to senior dogs in their sunset years. I'm currently self-employed, so I'm able to offer flexible availability to best suit the needs of each pet owner. I've grown up around pets and care deeply for their well-being, so I know how important it is for both owners and pets for the animals to get timely care and exercise. Having worked as a professional dog walker (just 1-2 dogs at a time, as to better give individual attention and care), I know how important it is to clients to be able to rely on a caregiver and trust their pet is in good hands. Each animal has their own needs that need to be accounted for, and those needs may change depending on the day or time of year. Being attentive, creative, and willing to go the extra mile means I'm giving each pet the best care I can each time.

About: I've spent my entire life caring for animals (my own and others'). Over the years, I've worked for a vet clinic, the Lake Superior Zoo, raised animals on a farm, and supported various pet rescue organizations. I believe our pets are family and deserve good food, company, and entertainment. I'm an empty nester with lots of space and love to give. :) I'm fortunate enough to live very close to my workplace. I'm also grateful that my schedule and my team are absolutely supportive of me taking care of my pet guests. I treat my own fur besties (Pippin, a 6 yr old neutered Jack Russel/Poodle mix and Sirius, a super friendly fluffball cat) like they're true family. Back yard squirrel chasing, walks around Spring Lake Park, and LOTS of snuggles are part of our daily life. If your dog needs some alone time (away from other pets), I've got spaces in my home that allow for it (sunny enclosed porch, anyone?)

About: I love dogs and have had them my whole life, recently we had a very challenging dog that required lots of work and training, so I have learned a lot from working with professional dog trainers. So I have a lot of information and feel I can be very helpful for any dog!! I’m currently working with mentally challenged adults in group homes, I work every other weekend, but this leaves me plenty of time in between to take care of dogs! I love to play with dogs and get them working and tired. I will be patient with them, and if there’s anything specific you want them to work on, I will work with them on that.

About: I have worked at my local dog daycare and have experience outside of taking care of my own animals growing up. I have also pet-sat dogs before for family members and friends. I am using this as my only job, and don't have any other priorities besides being a student. I don't have any classes I have to go to; they are all online, so I will have a free schedule. I have a yard that your pets will be able to play and no other animals live in my home. I always prioritize safety, following feeding instructions, walk routines, and home rules closely. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, clean, and ensure pets are calm, well-cared for, and not left alone.

About: I have experience with pit bulls, yorkies, dachshunds, chihuahuas, labs, golden retrievers, huskies, shelties, and more. I’ve taken care of pets all of my life and have a special love for them. I currently am flexible in my schedule and have some availability in many times of the day depending on the needs of my own dog, but still have a lot of availability. About: Hi! My name is Sage and I specialize in animal caretaking and welfare. I have lived my entire life with at least one animal in the house and I have been dog sitting on and off since high school. I am certified in three years of dog training and currently live with my lovely cat, London. I’ve never met a pet that I haven’t loved, and past employers would describe me as dependable, easy-going, and kind. My days are entirely open, except for the occasional one or two days a week where I am called in from one of my other jobs. I am also a full-time college student during the fall and winter time, but my summers are almost entirely clear. In my home, I live with my cat London, and four other housemates. If your animal stayed with me, they would never feel alone and would always have somebody in the house that can watch them or be there for all their needs. We have a lovely backyard full of grass, a back deck for lounging and sunbathing and a large neighborhood for daily walks. Your pet would feel like a king or queen in a castle! :)

About: I recently transitioned from my role as an outpatient therapist to explore roles that allow me to be more emotionally and physically present in my own life. Throughout my career, I've been known for my warmth, patience, reliability, and ability to build trust. These qualities that naturally extend to the way I care for animals. I grew up in a home that was never without a pet whether it was birds, dogs, cats, etc. I learned from an early age what it means to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment for animals of all kinds. Today, my own little family includes Phoenix, my wise 12-year-old cat and queen of the house, Gibson, my affectionate Golden Retriever, and Maize, my endlessly curious 10-week-old black kitten. Caring for them is one of the greatest joys in my life. I love everything from long walks and cuddle sessions to finding new enrichment activities and making sure they feel safe, happy, and deeply loved. I'll care for your pets with the same attentiveness, patience, and genuine love that I give my own. I'd be honored to be a small part of helping your pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you're away! I have recently decided to transition from my previous role as an outpatient therapist and have plenty of time for visits and walks sprinkled throughout the day. I am available M-F from 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM for drop-in visits/walks/etc. I currently live in a two-story home with my three pets Phoenix (12-year-old cat), Gibson (9-year-old Golden Retriever) and Maize (10-week-old kitten). Each of my pets have aspects of our home set up to meet their individual needs, whether that is areas to climb, separate spaces for their food/water, windows to see the world through and full access to all the cozy spots. I love taking slow walks with Gibson, and allow him time to sniff and snoof whatever he pleases along the way. However, the weather in Minnesota is not always friendly for walks during the day. On these days I will often create enrichment activities for Gibson such as peanut butter/water "pupsicles", hiding kibble around the living room for him to sniff and find, peanut butter bones (when we are at a happy weight) and just overall pets and snuggles. As for my cats - Phoenix enjoys quality time most of all - so I try to carve out special time for us to exist in the same space, with pets as she pleases. She also enjoys playing with her wand toys, catnip in her cat tree or snoozing in one of her many enclosed beds or window hammocks. My 10-week-old kitten's (Maize) care involves more consistent responsibilities throughout the day/week. I play with him for a short time before his meals, feed him, offer some alone time or more play (depending on his energy level) and typically put him in his safe room for some time after this to rest. I repeat this three times a day, with the night play session being longer and more energized. I scoop the litter box morning, afternoon and evening. There are many days I have to clean his bottom, paws or space due to a poop fiasco - I have gotten good at making this quick and painless. I also spend a lot of my time redirecting and teaching the lesson "Fingers are not toys" (if you've had/have a kitten you understand). Overall, I do my best to create a safe, healthy and predictable environment for my little housemates!

About: I have had plenty of dogs growing up. At one point I had 5 labradors and a papillon. My family used to foster dogs for the marines before they went to training. Right now I have 3 middle aged labs. Also for the past two years i’ve been pet sitting a cat and dog named Missy and Lenny. Lenny is a German Shepard and Missy is an Angola I currently work part/full time at another job. So I take care of pets before and after work since this a side job for me. As I said I’ve had a lot of pets in the past. I try to provide enough love and comfort for them to feel safe. As well as giving them enough exercise to be happy and healthy.

About: I’ve always loved dogs my entire life, having one since getting out of the hospital when I was 2. I work with dogs, have dog sit countless times, and currently have an 8 year old dog that I adore I am currently a college student on summer break meaning I have lots of time to care for pets, I love them and would do anything to make time for them! I always make sure there is nothing that the pet is able to get into that would harm them in any way. i also make sure the pet always feels safe with me and right at home

About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. I have the biggest soft spot for them, and I have two dogs of my own. I have had my own dog since I was about 19, but have had outdoor farm dogs for as long as I can remember. I have been around dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and other small animals for as long as I can remember. I am patient, detail orientated and I truly just love spending time with animals. Big or small, I love them all! I do work during the day, but I have the ability to pop out if/when I need to. I am free evenings and weekends. My schedule can be flexible if needed. I have a dog friendly home. To me this means there’s nothing but toys on the ground. Garbages are hidden and I am very aware of what is around my animals. I also have a dog park in front of my apartment!

About: I have spent the past few summers doing overnight dog sitting in my hometown just about every weekend. I have been recommended and continue to get new jobs. I am a part time nursing student at Bethany Lutheran College so I have plenty of free time. I also serve in the army national Gaurd. I have now been dog walking and dog sitting for over 4 years in Mankato and absolutely love it. I would love for more opportunities. I am a part time student at Bethany Lutheran College and have classes in the morning so I have plenty of free time in the afternoon and overnight. I also get plenty of breaks between classes to check up. Over the past four summers of my dog sitting career I have had multiple clients that have me stay at their house over the weekends while they are gone. I love running and exercising so the animals are sure to stay active. I have not run into any problems in the years I have pet sit before.
