About: I've had my own pets both cats and dogs since I was in college. I understand what it takes to care for and love on both cats and dogs. I'm comfortable working with both large and small dogs. I have a 50+ pound lab mix and 2 medium sized springer spaniels, in the past we had 2 miniature schnauzers so understand what's needed for big and small pets. I have lots of puppy experience and my 2 springers are geriatric girls needing extra patience and care. I'm happy to take care of rowdy, enthusiastic pets and more laid back furry babies as well. I'm currently going to school on-line to get my master's degree, and have 2 children in school, this gives me plenty of time during the day to care for your family members. I have 2 elderly dogs, 1 zippy younger dog and a cat-- which means I have a plenty of experience caring for animals of all ages. About: I’m currently a Veterinary Assistant, in school for my Veterinary Technicians license. I’m experienced giving medications, injections, and toenail trims! I have pretty advanced knowledge with animal terminology. With owning a Dalmatian, I am also very used to the energy levels of some very high dog breeds including, Dalmatian, Belgian Malinois, and Golden Retrievers. I’m currently working in Bainbridge Island for half the week but that does not stop me from dropping in/ spending time with your beloved pet! I love routine! Animals thrive on it! I thrive on it! This sitter is a responsible 20-something aged woman who just adores all the critters the world has to offer...from dogs and cats, to reptiles and even aquatic creatures. All are wonderful! I have been pet sitting for about 6 years now, many times staying at the homes with the pets, even as long as 4 weeks in the past. Walking, feeding, playing with, cleanup, spending time with, and even occasional medical (usually just feeding pills, cleaning wounds) are some of my typical responsibilies, though I do have experience with diabetic pets, as well! I most often care for dogs and cats, however I have past experience with salt water fish/animals, horses, and chickens. I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful pets soon! Mornings are the best opportunity for quality and more adventurous activities. Animals are a part of my daily life, so weekdays for animal care may be most beneficial for my schedule. Fresh resources and a clean environment is primary, followed by play, grooming, and daily sunlight and fresh air - which includes exercise depending on how much energy needs to be expelled.
