It was not easy either because both my kitties are in separate spaces of the house due to one of them chasing the other and hissing/growling. However, Yhakerra did amazing and handled the separate feedings/litter cleanings like a pro. She also left the house very clean and immaculate. She was even so caring that she asked if she could carry the youngest baby, Luna to the bedroom and let her sleep in the bed, which of course I was so touched that she was so sweet to accommodate the well being of the babies. She had to move her litterbox and food bowls. I highly recommend Yhakerra and will be booking her again in the future. Conveniently located just off Route 17, we are a mature, responsible, and drama-free dog auntie and uncle who are both home full time — me as the primary caretaker, and my partner as a backup (if you’d like). It helps make coverage more reliable, and play time feel a lot more like family time for your pup (except no kids). We are not the types to be addicted to our phones because we believe in being present when spending time with fur friends. We also typically don’t take in too many so that we can provide more attention, and be available when you need us. My friends’ furbabies affectionately call me “auntie” :) I understand how being away from your loved one can cause stress or anxiety (unfortunately, we had a bad experience with a sitter once, so I personally relate to this feeling all too well). I can provide multiple updates a day (or less) if you’d like — photos, videos, and even video calls — whatever will help you feel comforted that they are safe and well cared for. We have a unique property, a huge, park-like fully-fenced yard on a cul-de-sac street (but the fence is only 4 ft high, please confirm that your dog cannot jump it). I have a medium size crate if your pups like them. Multiple dog beds throughout the house and no more than 5 stairs anywhere. I’m equipped to take in two dogs at a time, but I don’t have to if you prefer your pup to have a solo stay.

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life! In New Mexico we had 5 dogs and 2 cats they were my responsibility to keep fed, happy, healthy! I have years of experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes and am comfortable around even the biggest and the friendliest dogs. Can’t wait to meet yours! I am currently working from home but have pretty flexible time constraints. Which means I have plenty of time to play with furry buddies! I often will take walks to nearby local parks or trails, and I am early riser so there is allot of flexibility in my schedule. We have a large backyard that with a fenced up play pen and have had several dogs in the house so plenty of left over toys and stuff to chew on. I have sat dogs with crates but unfortunately do not have one on the property.

About: I've been around all sorts of animals since I was a child, firstly with pet birds of my own, then volunteering at a farm for a number of years. Most recently, my experience as a veterinary assistant and being in school for a veterinary technician degree also gives me much knowledge in care for all sorts of animals, especially dogs and cats! I'm currently working at a veterinary hospital and have a few days where I can take time to fit pets that need attention into my schedule. Since my schedule changes regularly, my availability may change weekly, but usually does not impede on any pet that needs my attention. I have a variety of cages, leashes, harnesses, and toys for all size dogs if it is not available to the owner. Another benefit I can offer is the fact that since I also work at an animal hospital, if in the event where a pet needs attention while their owner’s are away, I have the access and contacts to help with any needs of that pet as soon as possible, with the permission of the owners.

About: I have taken care my pets about 30 years. Cats and dogs. And I worked 2 years taking care a dog 1 year old it was wonderful experience. I am currently working part time on weekends. I am available since Friday at 8 pm to Sunday at 10 pm. And monday to Thursday I am available at night. I like to walk in the parks. We will playing with his or her favorite toys. I will carry her favorite snack and water in case is necessary.

About: I’ve had two dogs in my lifetime each for 12 years and I’ve always loved to be around them and to make sure they were safe and felt happy. I treat each pet like family. My reliability, calm demeanor and love for animals make both pets and their owners feel at ease. I will walk the dog everyday and I can board dogs every weekend. I have experience taking care of a French bulldog named Randy. Sometimes I go there to take care of him and other times I bring him to my apartment. Much to my father's dismay (and my delight), my mother brought home 2 dogs for me and my sister between the years of kindergarten & 2nd grade. As I grew up, I took on more & more responsibilities related to caring for our new canine family members. My husband & I don't currently have a dog mostly due to my work schedule (for that reason we have 2 lovely, social cats, who we adore), so I get my fill by frequently dog-sitting for my parents and sister. Through caring for my parent's dog, I learned about more advanced medication administration and other special needs. I'm innately a genuinely caring & affectionate person who will go beyond the staples of basic care and will make sure your pup feels loved & cherished, like a family member. I work as per diem occupational therapist in home health. I treat residents all over Bergen County, and I make my own schedule, so I'm flexible as long as I know who I'm seeing & where I need to be at least a few days in advance. I am a huge proponent of the Meet & Greet (M&G) session. This is a step that I feel should not be missed, as it helps to minimize the risk of any hiccups, so you can fully enjoy your time spent out of town! At the M&G, you'll show me how I can safely enter your home, where the food and other essential supplies are kept, and you will be encouraged to share info re: your doggy's daily routine, i.e. feeding & play preferences, specific behaviors I should know about, medications if needed, rules re: treats, or if other equipment like crates and/or ramps are necessary, as well as what to do in case of an emergency. Most importantly, it also gives your pup the opportunity to meet me prior to the first dog-sitting session, which I feel is an important exercise in trust-building.
