About: I’ve worked at a dog hotel since I was 16 & have been watching, walking, and bathing pets for as long as I can remember. I am a teacher who has the entire summer off! Pet care is a priority of mine and can easily fit into my daily schedule :) Making sure the pet is watched after and cared for, prioritizing safety and pet needs over all else, and making sure that they are kept company and in the best hands! 🐾
“Monica had been the best dog help we could dream of. our Charli loves her so much. We booked her for 8 days of drop in visits, and every day that she was with our Charli she takes lots of pictures and write notes of what she did to Charli ( like a summary of her visit) , which me and my hubby really loved. We are booking her again june to november while im away for travel work… we love you Monica”

About: My journey began with a genuine love for animals and a childhood dream to be a vet—every pet I care for receives that same dedication and heart. I’m a full-time student with free time outside of class, so I’m happy to care for and check in on your furry babies whenever I’m available . Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I try and create a calm, loving environment where your furry friend can feel relaxed and cared for while you’re away. When caring for them in your home, I follow routines closely, make sure they’re comfortable, and keep everything just as you like it. You can trust me to keep you updated every step of the way!
About: If you're looking for a dog-lover and loyal caretaker, I'm here for you and your pet! I'm happy to provide a loving space for your pet while you travel, or walks when needed. I work from home mostly--I am in the office two days a week (every Tuesday and Wednesday.) All other days I am flexible with my schedule. Pets are welcome on my furniture--while they are here, they are free to make themselves comfortable! Playtime, walks and car rides (if they like them) are encouraged.

“Elizabeth is the most wonderful, trustworthy cat sitter! Ive had Elizabeth care for my cats multiple times, including times that Ive been out of the country. You can breathe easily knowing that Elizabeth is caring for your fur babies!”

About: Hello! My name is Madeline and I am 29 years old. I live in a luxury building in Hackensack, NJ. This building is complete with a fenced-in play area for dogs, as well as multiple paths for walking! I live alone with my 5 year old mini golden doodle Miley. Miley gets along with all dogs of all sizes, and she loves to play, so she’s a great companion for your furry friend :) I’ve raised and trained Miley since she was a puppy, and before that, I helped raise 3 different family dogs of all ages. I work from home sometimes, and am always doing something with my dog when not at work! I am happy to entertain your dog at my home, or to take them for a drive to a dog park or local trail. I love all dogs and have always grown up around them, and will be sure to send many pictures updating you on our activities! I currently work full-time, so I am available for weekday evenings as well as weekends to watch your doggos and cats! If you have date nights or weekend getaway trips, I am available to come over to dog, cat, or house sit! If you need something during the day starting at 3:30, I can make that work too. I give my girl Miley a lot of attention. She has a lot of energy, so we love to play after work and on the weekends. Miley loves to go for long walks outside at the park, and also the dog park where she can play fetch off the leash and socialize with other dogs. Miley likes to grab whatever is on the ground and eat it, so I make sure to keep a very clean environment as well as always pay attention to what my dog is doing. Miley also loves the snow, so I always make sure to clean/wash her feet when we come inside. As much as I love paw prints, I hope to keep them off my floor and furniture, and I will do the same for you! I will be sure to always be paying attention to your dog, as well as send lots of fun and cute updates as to what we are doing! :)

About: [PSA 1st-2nd week of May - limited moderate and no high energy bookings due to medical] Hello! I have years of pet care experience under my belt. Throughout my childhood I was able to grow my love and knowledge of many animals. I had cats dogs and small mammals like hamsters and bunnies growing up I got to help care for and learn about. During my teen years I helped family friends and neighbors with their pets including cats, dogs and even goats and chickens. With a solid foundation in feeding, walking, grooming, medicating, and playing with animals, I look forward to meeting and helping out many more pets throughout my twenties and beyond. I’m currently looking to go back to school, growing my expertise as a pet walker and sitter, and taking care of my own pets. I’ll have the free time and consistent schedule to check in and provide care for local pets as well. Safety trust and environment are a must when it comes to pet care. Environmentally I have my eyes peeled for hazards that could harm or cause illness in an animal, and remove those things to where they can’t be a problem. In building trust, I start every interaction with pet psychology in mind. I let them approach me with all of their senses first. Once they become interested in getting to know me, I can continue to show them I’m a safe person through gentle and secure actions on my part like walking carefully and taking softly.
“Joannie is a kind and nurturing. She was respectful of my shy guys comfort zone and took good care of my little dog. Joannie did drop in visits for my older timid Yorkie and worked hard to try to win him over. Would recommend her and plan to use again in future.”
