“Priyanka was amazing with my dog. She followed all the instructions I left her, asked to do a meet and greet, and asked questions about my dog too. I got updates and pictures. I would book her again!!”

“Jay is the best. My Thunder who is a 75lb American Pitbull loves him and for anyone with this breed that once they trust you there is no such thing as personal space. This breed gets a bad reputation but they are cuddle buddies. Book him now and often you will not regret it!”

About: Hello! My name is Mallory and I’m so happy to virtually meet you! My fur baby pictured in my profile image is Dippy, a 14 year old senior kitty! I grew up with pets of all kinds living in my household: cats, dogs, turtles, bunnies, hamsters! Although I don’t necessarily have “special skills” in the pet care department, I’m absolutely willing to learn new things to best accommodate your child or children! As a mother of three beautiful cats, I’m likely found feeding them during their meal times, refreshing their water, cleaning their litter boxes daily, giving my senior baby some extra tender care, giving my two youngsters some extra play time, getting all of them their vet needs, etc! Since I do have three cats who aren’t entirely open to other fur children wandering around, I would take care of your pet in your home where they feel the safest. I’ll do my best to maintain their typical routine during your travel, considering their meal times, play times, and bathroom times of course!
“Breanna was very responsive and took great care of Fitz. He is shy and cautious by nature, but seemed very comfortable and happy in the photos and when I returned. I think he had a great time!”

“Temi was quickly responsive and was able to help watch my dogs when my last minute trip came up. Thank you so much! He does an amazing job caring for my babies and sending me updates about them. You will not regret booking him to watch your fur babies!”
About: Hello! I’m a recent college grad, born and raised in the MAPSO area who recently moved back home, for work in NYC! Im here looking to make long term business partnerships and connections doing what I love most, being around animals. While I am new to Rover I’m no stranger to pet care, helping take care of my family cat and dog since childhood, with our beloved dog Molly going on 15 years! I have experience caring for foster dogs and cats, including 6 Rottweiler/pug puppies, an adult Rottweiler, about 7 cats, and a mixed breed HoundDog. In addition I’ve both dog and cat sit in house for a handful of neighbors and family friends, so I’m experienced in feedings, walks, and administering medicine. I also have experience handling large dogs including a 70 pound Pitbull/American Bulldog mix, and her sister, who while smaller is a big puller! I’m very comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and ages, and would love to meet your furry family member !🐾 I’m currently working in part time 1-6 on weekdays, commuting from Maplewood NJ to Harlem NYC. I’m therefore able to do morning or evening walks in the city/MAPSO area, along with overnight stays during the week . My weekends are pretty much completely open to walks anytime of the day along with overnight stays. I offer in house care to my clients whether this be overnight or just coming in for walks and so socialization. I’m very mindful of your space and keeping this clean and as they were when I came, and am willing to work around your level of comfortability!
About: For the past ten years, I’ve been the trusted go‑to pet caregiver for friends and colleagues; whether they’re heading out for a weekend getaway or simply stuck at work longer than expected. I know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your fur-baby, which is why I treat every pet I take care of as if they were my own. I have done everything from daily dog walks and feeding routines to scooping litter, administering medication, and giving plenty of love and attention. I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Supporting happy, healthy pets brings me so much joy, and I’m committed to giving your furry family member the same level of care you would! I am currently in the process of switching full-time jobs, so my availability is open to daily walks and pet-sitting seven days a week! I will make sure to let you know if my availability changes. I live in an apartment, so all pet care takes place in my client’s home. I know how important trust is, and I treat every pet like my own—following your routines, keeping their space safe and tidy, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away!
“My dogs loved Gabriel! He was very interactive, took them to dog parks and took them on walks. He took great care of my house and left it cleaner than it was before. I will definitely be rebooking with him soon!”

“Kate truly went above and beyond! I had some last-minute changes in the middle of my booking, but she kindly stood by me and helped sort everything out, demonstrating her big love for animals. I really like her and will definitely call her again whenever I need someone, and she's always willing to take care of my babies. They had a wonderful time, and even to this day, they still look for her.”

“Molly and her husband were great, they took care of our two dogs while we were away for a few days and made sure they were pampered and stayed healthy. They also left our place clean and went the extra mile to get our puppy some extra food when he ran out of it. Highly recommend!”

“Alison has taken care of my 3 dogs overnight a few times now. They’re a lot and she does great! I come home and my dogs are happy and clearly have been loved while I’m out. She also handles one of my dogs eye medications for which I am very grateful!”

“Brad was really great with our dog Mooney! He gave daily updates and communicated very efficiently. We felt at ease knowing Brad was taking care of Mooney. Would highly recommend!”

About: I've loved animals my entire life and have been surrounded by pets since I was a child. My experience includes volunteering at Furry Friends, where I helped care for animals and learned the importance of patience, compassion, and meeting each pet's individual needs. I've also provided pet care for family, friends, and neighbors, including watching my neighbor's pets while they were away on summer vacations, caring for my sister's dog, and looking after my own two cats. Through these experiences, I've become comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and enjoy building trust with both pets and their families. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule! I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week to care for your furry family members. As long as I have a little advance notice, I'm happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pet gets the love, attention, and reliable care they deserve. Whether it's a quick drop-in or extended care, I'm committed to being there when you need me most! I love making pets feel happy, safe, and loved while their humans are away! I stick to their normal routine by making sure they're fed, have fresh water, get plenty of playtime, walks (if needed), cuddles, and all the attention they want while always respecting their unique personalities and boundaries. I keep their space clean, make sure they're comfortable, and send regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in caring hands!

About: I’ve had two dogs! My first dog was a Maltese named Rocky. He passed away in 2017 from lymphoma. 💔 Right now, I have a 9-year-old terrier mix named Lila! She’s full of energy and loves running around the yard, going for walks, and playing fetch with her toys. I’ve been helping take care of my family’s & friends dogs since I was a little girl, and I’ve always loved dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities. 🥰 I’m currently in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at FDU. I started in May, and the program is 15 months long, so I’ll be graduating in September 2027. My classes are a mix of online and in-person, but I’m generally available all day on Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to house sit and available Tuesdays and Thursdays for drop-ins and walks! Whether your dog needs a walk, a trip to the park, someone to play with, or just a buddy to relax with on the couch, I’m happy to help! I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away. Just let me know what you need, and I’d be happy to make it happen. 😊
About: I've taken care of dogs of every size (small, medium, large) and household cats! Love to teach (or at least try to teach) your pups new tricks when you're away. I work at U of M Hospital, so I will have time to hang out with your animals most days of the week (mornings, evenings, nights) and weekends! Safety is my top priority when it comes to caring for your animals. Depending on the animal, I'll work with the owner to make sure we have a safety plan in place.
About: What sets me apart is the level of personalized care I give to every pet—whether it’s teaching a curious puppy the basics, keeping a senior pet comfortable and happy, or making sure shy animals feel safe and loved. With me, your pet gets more than just supervision—they get patience, attention, and a whole lot of tail wags. Even with a full-time job, pet care is a priority in my daily routine. I plan my mornings and evenings around feeding, walks, and playtime, and I dedicate my weekends to extra bonding activities, training, and outdoor adventures. I keep a reliable schedule so pets always know what to expect, and I make sure they get consistent love and attention no matter how busy the day gets. I provide safe, loving, and consistent care—whether in my home or yours. I follow your pet’s routine, ensure fresh water, timely meals, exercise, and plenty of affection so they feel happy and secure.
“Charisma was an amazing sitter. She sent photos and videos and kept me up to date. She was very attuned to the dogs’ needs and left my home better than she found it. I will definitely be using her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lower Vailsburg
Breanna is a fantastic pet sitter! She watched Sophia and Valentina over the weekend and exceeded all my expectations. She was attentive, responsible, and kept me updated the whole time. It gave me total peace of mind knowing my girls were in such loving hands. Thank you, Breanna!

I can’t say enough good things about Shannon. I came to her with a little bit of an odd request—more like an evening of babysitting our pup than a traditional dog sit. Happy is 5 months old and full of energy. And also still learning how to behave in someone else’s house. We were staying with our daughter and her family so we could attend a family wedding in a different city than where we live. I looked on Rover and found this woman with years of experience as a certified dog sitter, who seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. I thought she would not be overwhelmed by a 5-month-old golden retriever pup. So I reached out to Shannon long distance and she was right there with all the good questions and suggestions about how to make my plan work. We chatted for about an hour to make sure we both felt comfortable and then I booked the appointment. Shannon even came to my daughter’s house the day before the wedding just to meet Happy and give me a chance to share any additional details. Then on the day of the wedding, she came right on time and gracefully managed our pup (walks, potty breaks, dinner, playing with our very young grandkids , settling for the night), which enabled our son-in-law to manage our two grandchildren without any additional complications. Her skill and kindness with Happy made the whole evening stress-free for all of us. It was a dream dog sit. When it came time for Shannon to leave, Happy just walked over and sat down right at her heels and nuzzled her hand. Thank you Shannon!

Holy moly! I can’t brag about Safiya enough! From start to finish the communication was nothing short of incredible. She cared for my baby like he was her own. She cared for my home like she lived here. I feel like a found a member of the family not a sitter. Hands down, the best caretaker for anyone you love. Will ONLY be booking with her again in the future. 100000000000000000000 out of 10. Literally the greatest experience.

Chris did an amazing job watching our dog Gobi and we will definitely have him watch him again in the future! He has a very calm, comforting demeanor which helped our nervous guy feel safe. But he also loved playing with him and tired him out nicely for us! He went above and beyond by taking him out for 3 extra walks and even brought one of our packages inside the house. I also loved the picture updates he sent us! Thank you Chris, see you soon!

Nassira was absolutely wonderful! She was punctual, followed all our instructions perfectly, and sent regular updates with photos that gave us total peace of mind. Our dogs were happy and well cared for, and our home was in great condition when we returned. Highly recommend and will definitely use her service again!
