That’s something I’ve really practiced through leading Catching Wind, the cycling and wellness club I started in college. Creating a space where people felt welcomed, supported, and looked after—whether they were riding for the first time or just needed community—taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and how to care for different needs. I bring that same approach to pet care. I listen closely, follow instructions, respect your space, and aim to create an environment where your pet feels loved, relaxed, and understood.

About: Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I currently have two dogs I walk and board as well as a dog at home. I’m committed to keeping the dogs in my care safe, and making sure they are having a great time. Currently I have a pretty open schedule and could work with you on the details. Available 7 days a week, days and nights. Long term or short term. I walk the dogs two or three times a day. Often walk the woods in the reservation and use the dog park. My yard is fenced in and private. Have dog at home (Messi) who loves dogs and company. If you’re more comfortable having your pet caged, we can make arrangements for that or whatever makes you comfortable.

My hands-on experience started in 2015 with my cat Mittens (now 10) and my dog Fluffy (also 10), so I understand the long-term care and attention pets need at every stage of life. About: I am a school psychologist in Palisades Park. I have owned dogs my entire life. I love a dog's need for attention and their energy and unconditional love! Along with my experience providing overnight care, I currently work as a veterinary assistant, where I care for both dogs and cats in a professional setting. Working in vet medicine has helped me become comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, including senior pets and anxious animals. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full time, so I fit pet care around my work schedule. I’m available on weekends and some Thursdays, which I’ve listed in my availability. I make sure to plan ahead so I can be consistent and give pets proper care and attention when I’m with them. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help the pet feel comfortable and secure. About: I have taken care of all types of pets for 7 years. I have been taking care of dogs for 2 years. I love all! I am available part time for dog care. Nights are more easier to accept due to my work schedule as a therapist. Let me know and I can work with you! I have a doggy park. I have cages if a dog wants a lone time from other dogs/pets. I have a balcony if it is raining for air and sun. I am available before 7 and after 4:30 usually for drop off on weekdays. I am flexible on weekends. We can accommodate times if told in advance. There is a fenced dog park across the street. The dogs slept separately all day besides during play time. We have cameras inside the house and outside the front door.

About: I’ve had two dogs! My first dog was a Maltese named Rocky. He passed away in 2017 from lymphoma. 💔 Right now, I have a 9-year-old terrier mix named Lila! She’s full of energy and loves running around the yard, going for walks, and playing fetch with her toys. I’ve been helping take care of my family’s & friends dogs since I was a little girl, and I’ve always loved dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities. 🥰 I’m currently in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at FDU. I started in May, and the program is 15 months long, so I’ll be graduating in September 2027. My classes are a mix of online and in-person, but I’m generally available all day on Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to house sit and available Tuesdays and Thursdays for drop-ins and walks!
