About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 2 years and truly love caring for animals. Along with my experience providing overnight care, I currently work as a veterinary assistant, where I care for both dogs and cats in a professional setting. Working in vet medicine has helped me become comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, including senior pets and anxious animals. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full time, so I fit pet care around my work schedule. I’m available on weekends and some Thursdays, which I’ve listed in my availability. I make sure to plan ahead so I can be consistent and give pets proper care and attention when I’m with them. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help the pet feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get walks and bathroom breaks, and receive plenty of attention and playtime. I also keep their environment clean and safe and follow any specific instructions provided by the owner.
“I honestly believe I have found the best sitter ever! ✨ Rachel was so detailed and passionate when it came to caring for my babies. I really appreciated the constant communication and updates. She was so helpful and thoughtful in everything that she did. Teddy and Khloe loved having you care for them and hope to see you on the next one 😇”

About: I have several years of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and breeds. I’m comfortable with daily walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and administering oral medications when needed. I make sure pets feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away, keeping routines consistent and sending regular updates and photos Your dog will be my top priority throughout my time with them. I am currently doing Rover full time and taking care of your puppy will be my sole and only responsibility when boarded. When caring for pets, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and consistency with their regular routines. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment with plenty of space for play, rest, and affection. I make sure pets have fresh water, nutritious meals according to their dietary needs, and regular exercise suited to their age and energy level. I also have a huge backyard providing dogs with space to run freely and get some exercise in if needed. (other than routine walks) When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully to maintain the pet’s normal schedule and minimize stress. I keep their environment clean, provide companionship, and pay close attention to any changes in behavior or health. Communication is key, so I always keep pet owners updated with messages, photos, or videos to give them peace of mind.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was very young, growing up with them since I was about 2 years old, and I started actively caring for them on my own at 12. I have experience with many different breeds, from German Shepherds to Yorkshire Terriers, which has helped me understand different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I currently have a well-trained Border Collie and a very sweet cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I’m patient, reliable, and truly love spending time with animals, always making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. My schedule is very flexible! I take dogs to parks, interesting walks, and even the beach if authorized. I have my own transportation with no additional costs. I wake up at 7am for the first walk: 1.5 hours. After that, breakfast time. Second walk around 1 hour after they finish eating. I work while they explore the house freely. Lunch followed by a long walk (2-2.5 hours) to parks or different locations. Dinner and two evening walks (7-8pm and 10pm). Your dog is welcome to sleep in my bed or use their own bed, whatever they prefer—I adapt to their comfort and routine.
“Deli was great, quite everything you could ask for. Incredibly communicative and went above and beyond in my home to make sure I came back from vacation with very little to do. My kitty, Willow, was well cared for and happy when I returned. Will deff book again in the future.”

“Joni is just amazing!! Our pup Milo loves Joni. She walks Milo 3 days a week and helps us out in a pinch. We get great updates from her. She’s helped Milo learn how to go on little bike runs with her and tires our little boy out when needed! She’s also so patient with Milo. We love her and recommend her for all your puppy needs :))))”

About: I was a soldier in my country, I took my dog training course and worked with many breeds. I really like sharing my time with pets and I will take care of them as if they were my own. I work part-time and I want to share my free time with pets and take care of them as if they were my own and pamper them so that they feel good with me until they return home. I have an empty backyard which I could use for the care and much more of your pets with the greatest security and more confidence
“Kethely was great with my cat. My cat can be shy around new people sometimes, but she warmed up to Kethely very quickly. Would definitely trust Kethely with my cat again!”

“Rebecca was amazing!!!!! She communicated with me very well and took great care of my babies. I usually have a very hard time trusting people watching my pets, but I would be definitely using her in the future.”

“Irisdelie was amazing, great communication and so so wonderful with my cats. Provided great updates with adorable pictures after each visit. I felt very comfortable and happy knowing my babes were being well cared for and loved while I was away.”

About: Cant think of time where I haven’t been around a dog. Growing up there was always dogs in the house. It comes easy to me. For my 2 dogs it starts at 345am with their first walk before I head to the gym. There 2nd walk comes at 8am before I start work then again at 2pm for a quick lunch break and their last 2 walks come at 5 and 930pm before settling down for the night. In between all the walking they’ll get breakfast and dinner and some naps. Meet and greet is important along with getting to know the pets needs and routines. Along with likes and dislikes. Knowing what the pet parents wants and expects from visits or boarding.
“Irene was awesome with our cat Tammy and took good care of her while we were away. She made sure to engage with Tammy with games. Highly recommend and we will be booking her services again in the future. Thank you Irene.”

About: I have a passion towards animals and love all of them. I would sometimes take care of my friends cats or dogs and loved it I’m currently working part-time as a behavioral technician and go to school full time but I mostly have online classes so I have a lot of time to take care of your pups. I don’t have a set time but we can for sure work something out! I prioritize comfort and safety during drop ins and house sitting. I follow all care instructions closely, provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention, while making sure your home stays tidy and secure
About: I have been a huge dog lover ever since I can remember. As a 7 year old little girl I used to run downstairs to play, pet and show love to any dog I heard barking outside. When I got to High School I finally convinced my parents to allow me to bring a puppy home (German Shepard) and I completely dedicated my entire life to my dog, Kyser. My journey started with Kyser, who was my loyal companion for 16 unforgettable years until it was time to let him rest. My life literally revolved around Kyser despite the fact that I was only in high school. My social life came to a halt and anywhere I went, Kyser was by my side. I was so heartbroken when it was time to allow him to rest that my sister immediately got me my current dog, Duke, and as you can imagine, my life currently revolves around my baby, Dukey. Prime examples of my life revolving around my dog are, I literally only bought a house just so that I can provide my dog a safe and consistent space to reside in and remain in a safe, healthy and consistent environment at all times. Then I proceeded to purchase an SUV where my dog/dogs can travel with me comfortably on all road trips. The only time I leave my house now is to work because my only desire is to spent quality time with my dog either at home or at the park because my dog/s are what bring me the most peace in this life. My passion for dogs led me to work as a veterinary technician at an animal hospital for 5 years, where I had the privilege of caring for animals and learning even more about them. A few things set me apart from other sitters. With 5 years as a veterinary technician, I have hands-on experience with pet health, administering medications, handling emergencies, and recognizing signs of illness. This background is especially helpful for senior pets or those with medical needs. Another thing that sets me apart from other sitters are my training skills. I can reinforce basic commands, work on house-training, and use positive reinforcement techniques to support good behavior. Personalized care : I understand that every pet is unique. I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and quirks to provide customized care that keeps them comfortable and happy. Experience with All Ages : from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing a slower pace, I have the patience and adaptability to cater to pets at every life stage. My experience with Kyser and Duke have given me personal insight into caring for aging dogs, which can be an emotional and delicate process. Communication and Trust : I believe in keeping pet owners in the loop with regular updates, photos, and videos, so they feel confident and at ease while away. Passion and Peace : Dogs are not just animals to me - they are family to me. Caring for them isn't a job but a joy, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I gave to Duke. Duke was my entire world but unfortunately had to let him rest in peace with some dignity as well just a couple of months ago. Now, nothing would give me more pleasure than to show your pup nothing but LOTS OF LOVE and a great day full of activities and fun. I currently am a Physical Education and Health Teacher therefore I am available during the week after 2:30pm. I am available all weekend at any time of the day or night. However, considering I only work 5 minutes from home I will be able to incorporate these daily and weekly routines as I have a lot of preps, lunch and downtime as a teacher. Grooming Needs - I will brush their coat, clean their ears, or handle any specific grooming requirements. Training & Enrichment - I will dedicate time to reinforce good behavior or introduce new challenges. IN MY HOME : I have a fenced in yard and front lawn to keep your fur baby safe at all times. I will keep them active and engaged in the yard as we play catch and enjoy the fun in the sun. Preparation - I will Pet-proof the space, remove hazards, and set up a comfortable area with bedding, toys and water. Routine - I will stick to their feeding, walking, and sleeping schedules to reduce stress. Supervision - I will keep an eye on them, especially during the first few days as they adjust. Safe Spaces - I will provide quiet spots for rest, especially for pets who may feel overwhelmed. Enrichment - I will engage in play, training, and mental stimulation tailored to their needs. IN THE CLIENT'S HOME: Respect Their Space - I will follow the pet's usual routine closely and maintain house rules. Familiar Comforts - I will use the pet's own bedding, toys and food to minimize changes. Security - I will ensure the home is secure and always follow the client's guidelines for locking doors and setting alarms. Communication - I will send updates, photos or videos to the pet owner for peace of mind. Cleanliness - I will keep the space tidy, clean up after the pet and leave home as I found it. Dayton-Weequahic Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kethely is incredible. Our normal sitter was unable to cover the time we were going to be away and Kethely was luckily able to make the time work. She has such a passion and heart for animals and worked to make sure that even our one nervous cat was comfortable. Her updates gave us something to smile about each day of our trip, and we definitely look forward to working with her again.

Deb came to meet us before the booking for a meet and greet and we knew that she was going to do a great job. She was so detailed and listened to all of the needs of our two pups. When the day came she sent us photos, videos and updates of the walks and of her playing with our dogs. She did a fantastic job and we will definitely be calling her again!
Joni is just amazing!! Our pup Milo loves Joni. She walks Milo 3 days a week and helps us out in a pinch. We get great updates from her. She’s helped Milo learn how to go on little bike runs with her and tires our little boy out when needed! She’s also so patient with Milo. We love her and recommend her for all your puppy needs :))))

Paula was responsive and responsible during the booking and meeting process. I have a 12 week old poodle. He has lots of unbridled puppy energy. he is really just learning how to walk on a leash.. Paula was very patient getting the leash and harness on him as well as walking him. I do appreciate that. I would recommend Paula and I would use her for future walks once my dog matures thank you.👍🏽🙌🏽🙏
Rebecca did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats giving them treats, probiotics, and lots of love. Even our more shy cat warmed up to her quickly. Rebecca kindly vacuumed up the cat hair a few times also which we greatly appreciated. We look forward to booking with her again!

Mario has been such a reliable and caring sitter for my cat, Mits. He’s always willing to help—even with last-minute requests—which I really appreciate. I can tell Mits is genuinely happy to see him, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. It’s clear Mario truly cares about the pets he looks after, and I’m very grateful to have someone so dependable checking in on Mits!
Lilian was absolutely amazing with our cat, Loki! She was kind, professional, and incredibly attentive to Loki’s routine and care while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Loki was in such loving and capable hands. We couldn’t recommend Lilian more highly!

Ashley did stop in visits and walks several times a day for 5 days while I was away and I felt so at ease knowing she was going to be taking care of my furr babies. She is so patient, loving and affectionate with them they love her presence. I am so happy I have found such an amazing sitter who I can count on. I would recommend her if you are looking for a sitter!

Jane did an excellent job with drop-in visits for our two cats. She was reliable, showing up twice daily as scheduled, and clearly took great care of them. She played with the cats during her visits and kept their litter consistently clean. We appreciated that she went beyond the basics, keeping our kitchen spotless where the cats are fed. The photos from each visit showed our cats looking comfortable and content. It was so nice to come home tired and jet-lagged to happy, well-cared-for cats without having to tackle any cat-related housework.
