About: Hi! This is Xinwen. I’ve been living with pets since I was a kid. I’m currently a volunteer at Anti-Cruelty shelter to help both dogs and cats, and I’m proud of it. I WFH and have plenty of time to take your pets out/ play at home. I’m very familiar with pets’ behaviors and could tell what they want: attentions, some alone time, an exciting hunting game…., by their body language. I keep track of their eating patterns and defecation performance, as those are important and straight forward reflections of their moods and health conditions. By these experiences I could give them more accurate cares. Also, I guarantee that I report the real conditions of your babies, instead of pretending they’re doing great just to win your approval. I respect them as human beings. :) I love both dogs and cats. I enjoy spending time with them. Also, I’m very patient and careful. I’ll make sure that your pet(s) get what they need and feel loved! I’m free to arrange drop-ins or walks every workday 7:00-8:00pm. I’m available for boarding and day care every day. Other flexible hours can be discussed with me too! I’m available for drop-ins and overnight stay in your home. I always make sure to provide them fresh food and water, clean the litter box and play/walk with them.

About: I have been caring for different animals, yet dogs in particular since I was a young teen, and I have a soft spot for those who need a little extra love. Over the years, I’ve turned more than a few rescue stories into happy endings – including my own pack of once “difficult” dogs. One of my boys was returned to the shelter three times before I met him. When he first came home, he was shut down, terrified, and barely eating. Six months later, he was a thriving, joyful companion who now gets along beautifully with others and even travels the world with me. I don’t just dog sit – I connect. I understand dogs who need patience, a calm presence, and someone who truly sees them. My grounded, gentle energy helps them feel safe and understood, whether they’re high-energy, shy, quirky, or a giant cuddle bug. Clients often tell me their dogs don’t just get care with me – they get joy. And honestly? The feeling is mutual. Every wag, cuddle, and playful glance is why I do this. I am a consciousness coach, I work fully from home and have a lot of free time to actually engage and interact with the pups I watch. During the day I may have 1-2 calls with clients, which is usually when the pups would have a nap session while soothing frequencies are playing in the background. The rest of the time we enjoy each other with playtime inside and outside in the fenced yard, we do yoga together, and have fierce cuddle puddles. We have a double fenced yard with turf and a big old tree that all pups love running around in and play. we also have a large porch where they love doing some people/other pups watching, and chill at when the weather permits. I will be with your pup the whole time for daycare, and for boarding, depending on the length, we will discuss how long your pup can stay home (crated or not depending on your habits at home) in case I have an errand to run.

About: I work from home in Chicago with a flexible schedule and truly enjoy spending my days with furry friends. We love walks to Palmer Square, playing ball, and relaxing on the couch. I usually care for just 1-2 dogs at a time for a cozy, personalized experience. My 7-year-old is in school during the day and is gentle and respectful with dogs. We also have a 9-year-old mutt, Matilda, who’s affectionate and gets along great with other dogs. Your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles. I’m home throughout the day and make sure dogs get regular walks and outdoor play breaks. If your dog loves to cuddle, they’re welcome to relax on the couch while I work. For playful pups, there’s always a chance to chase toys with Matilda indoors or out. I strive to follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible. Our spacious condo features a fenced yard and a large gated back deck, perfect for afternoon games of fetch or sunbathing. Dogs are welcome to roam the house freely, but I’m happy to crate them if that’s their usual routine.

Roma S.
“Roma must be a dog whisperer. Our rescue dog is very skittish and wary of people, but she warmed up to her very quickly thanks to her calm, gentle nature and relaxed energy. She’s incredibly patient, always moves at our dog’s pace and somehow knows exactly how to make her feel safe and understood. When she arrives, our pup gets full on zoomies from excitement, which is something we never thought we’d see (she would cower in a corner and bark at a prior walker we tried out). We’re so grateful for Roma’s kindness, patience, and the genuine love she shows our dog. She is also very communicative and keeps us updated with sweet messages and photos after every walk. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

Amelia T.
“Amelia is your pup’s best friend! She is caring and attentive and loves to pamper your pooch. Whenever my pup is with Amelia I know they are getting the best care possible. They also come home tired and happy after playing all day. Her dog Matilda is the best playmate too! My dog loves going to Amelia’s house and gets excited as soon as we pull up!”
Logan Square dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nathan was great with communication, accommodating, friendly and easy to work with. He asked a lot of questions to best prepare for the daycare so I appreciate him trying to find what would give my dog a good experience. I know Kilo had a lot of fun because he refused to leave. Definitely recommend Nathan!!!

Lauren and Tom were extremely nice and our puppy had so much fun with them. We really appreciated that they were able to accommodate a last minute, late night booking request. Lauren sent multiple photos throughout the time our dog was with her and the pup looked SO HAPPY in all of them. Their home was clean and comfy, and our puppy was very calm when we reunited, which says a lot because she is an anxious pup. Would highly recommend Lauren based on our experience!

Thank you so much, Briana! I truly appreciate you and everything you did for Ziggy these last couple of days. I know she had the time of her life and even made a new best friend with your puppy! I’m so grateful for your kindness and for being so understanding when I was a few minutes late picking her up—no stress at all. Highly recommend you, and we can’t wait for more visits!

Even though the other dogs were bigger, Chachi was not scared and in fact he loved them and got along with them great. They were all gentle dogs and knew Chachi was small. He even shared beds with the big dudes and went out for play time. Chachi wants to return soon and meet up with the same pack again because Ian made him feel at home and comfortable. Chachi had all the pillows, blankets and belly rubs he needed.

I was so impressed by Sid’s professionalism and communication. During our initial video call he gave me the run down of what a typical day looks like and asked many thoughtful questions that gave me reassurance in leaving my puppy. He has three chihuahuas himself and happens to be a dog trainer which added to my confidence in my tiny chihuahua having a safe place to socialize. He introduced them strategically and expressed that he would separate them from Yoko if I felt more comfortable or Yoko was showing any signs of distress from the interactions. Yoko LOVED it and had the best time!! Sid is an expert communicator and sent so many photos, updates, and VIDEOS which I didn’t even know you could get those on here. On the report card he also included precise times for walks, meals, and potty breaks which was also something that set him apart from other experiences and is helpful information as a puppy mom. Yoko wasn’t here for formal dog training so I didn’t expect anything extensive like that but it was nice to know he could reinforce what we’ve been doing and point out any behaviors or weak points we still have to work on. He gave lots of pointers and they certainly helped Yokos confidence on walks! So grateful for our visit and will definitely use Sid again!

Claudia was amazing with Melo! She kept me updated, sent me photos, and made sure he was happy and comfortable the whole time. Her dog is super sweet, and Melo had so much fun playing. I could tell he felt right at home. I would definitely trust her with Melo again — highly recommend!
