“Lindsey was really great watching charlee. Charlee is still a puppy and has all the energy and Lindsey’s pups played with her and I know charlee had so much fun with them! She was great at giving me updates while we were gone and very understanding when we had to pick her up a little later. I will definitely ask her again to keep charlee in the future!”

“I am a thankful a friend told me about this app and I found Maggie! Her and her family were great with our CC! She kept me updated on how she was doing as well as sending pictures! We will definitely book again! Thank you Maggie!!”

“Whoopie had a great time with Reanna and her family. I was updated frequently with pictures and status of the stay. Reanna was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Reanna to anyone needing top notch care for their pet.”

About: I have 10 years of hands-on experience caring for animals and have worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Families, friends, and neighbors consistently trust me to provide dependable and attentive care, including feeding, walking, playtime, and maintaining structured daily routines. In addition to dogs and cats, I am also comfortable caring for reptiles and other small animals. I understand the importance of proper habitat maintenance, feeding schedules, and careful handling to ensure their health and safety. I have experience with puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and animals that may need extra patience or reassurance. I prioritize consistency, safety, and clear communication, and I always provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away. Every pet in my care is treated with respect, attentiveness, and genuine love. I have open availability and a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs, including boarding, drop-ins, and extended stays. I am available weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and I can adjust to your pet’s established routine to ensure consistency and comfort. My priority is providing dependable care and being accessible when my clients need support. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard as well as a secure outdoor fenced playpen area to allow for safe exercise and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, pets are monitored closely and kept in a clean, structured environment. I am able to crate if requested and will always follow your specific instructions regarding routines, feeding, and supervision. I focus on creating a calm, secure, and stress-free environment so your pet feels comfortable and cared for at all times.
“She is so thoughtful in caring for our fur baby.. our pup has a smiley disposition coming and going. The true test of a caring experience is how your fur baby feels about being dropped off and picked up. Trusted and well cared for in our absence. Thank you!!!!!!”

“I always worry when I board Sebastien because you always hear horror stories. It's not a facility you can go in and inspect, so you rely on reviews and scrutinize profiles and hope for the best. I didn't worry about Sebastien at all after meeting Adria. She was personable and detail oriented and the exterior of her home was clean and well maintained. She sent pictures and updates and gave me notes on his food. She was also not overwhelmed by his high energy antics. He came home happy and clean! It's such a relief to find someone trustworthy, and I highly recommend!”

“Randi was awesome!! She kept my pup for 6 days and when I picked him up he had been bathed and groomed. Communication was easy. She went above and beyond and made me feel comfortable while I was away. 10/10 would recommend”

About: I've been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with pets and have spent my life feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for animals of all ages. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and deserves patience, love, and attention. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, cuddles, medication reminders, or just someone to keep them company, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust, and my goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and happy while you're away. I currently offer pet care Friday through Sunday. During the weekends, I'm able to provide attentive care, including walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of love and companionship. I only accept bookings when I know I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve, so your furry family member will receive quality care while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced yard and a fenced outdoor patio where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air and play under supervision. Pets are never left unattended outside. Inside, they are treated like family with plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I can follow your pet's normal routine, administer medications if needed, and accommodate crate-trained dogs if that is part of their routine. I also have two friendly Yorkshire Terriers who enjoy meeting other dogs, but I always introduce pets carefully to ensure everyone is comfortable.
“Jala was the absolute best sitter ever. This was my first time using Rover and she was amazing. She kept me updated about Coco and his activity. She communicated very easily. I will definitely use her again.”

About: I've worked in animal care for several years, starting at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I spent six years. I began as a kennel technician and worked my way up to general manager, gaining extensive experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, behaviors, and medical needs. I'm currently pursuing a long-term goal of becoming a veterinary technician. In my free time, I foster animals for a local rescue that I'm passionate about. I take pride in using fear-free handling techniques, understanding animal body language, working through behavioral challenges, and providing compassionate care for medically compromised pets. While I'm relatively new to Rover, I've been caring for pets in my home for years. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving their owners peace of mind. I'll treat your pets like they're my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I work full-time as a veterinary assistant at a local animal hospital. I have at least two days off each week and work a half day on Wednesdays. While I am away during part of the day, I come home every day during my hour lunch break to let your baby out for a potty break, playtime, and some extra love and attention. In the evenings, I enjoy taking dogs for walks (weather permitting) and spending quality time with them. When I have pets in my care, I plan my schedule around their needs. I avoid making additional plans so I can provide plenty of one-on-one attention, playtime, cuddles, and consistency with their normal routine. I do provide care in your home, with the same schedule/availability. Such as; going to your home on my break to care for the pet(s), only sitting for one family at a time, walks, etc. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable, loved, and at home as possible while you're away. I have a fully fenced backyard. I also have a pool that is currently being fenced for added safety. My philosophy is simple: pets are never left unattended outside. If your pet is crate-trained or simply feels more comfortable in a crate, I have plenty of space to set one up for daytime or overnight use. I only care for one client's pet(s) at a time to provide the safest environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a designated "dog cabinet" stocked with essentials like pill pockets, peanut butter, and ability to keep any medications your pet may need during their stay. If your pet rides in my vehicle, I use a pet seat belt to help keep them secure during travel. I ask that owners provide a properly fitted harness or collar and leash. If you're unable to do so, I have extras available (with your permission) to safely transfer your pet to and from my home and for walks. I do my best to maintain your pet's normal feeding schedule, so I appreciate detailed instructions regarding meals, treats, and any special preferences. I also always ask about food sensitivities, allergies, or other dietary needs to ensure your pet stays happy and healthy. These apply to in your home as well.
“He was absolutely awesome. Made my dog extremely comfortable and would even take him for rides even though I said he didn't have to. All around a great sitter and would ask him again in the future.”

“Wonderful. Kim is exceptional. She truly loves your pet and treats them like her own. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby. We will definitely see you again. Thank you again.”

“Shellawn was a great sitter! She was very caring and kept me informed with updates, pictures, and videos. She took her to the dog park and Leia especially loved playing fetch with her son. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. Definitely recommend!”

“Christopher did an amazing job taking care of my sweet girl! He communicated exceptionally well throughout her stay and was very accommodating when I was running late for pickup. It gave me peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. I would absolutely choose him to watch my pup again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: I bread, raised, and trained dogs for my parents breeding business. For the first 4 years we did European Great Danes, For the next 5 we did French bulldogs, and the last year we just had 2 Danes and 2 Frenchies for pets and not breeding. I just graduated from highschool, I'm currently looking for a serious job, and I'm about to start college this fall. Since I don't have a job yet and I love taking care of pups, I've decided to try Rover. The only thing I do during the week is run errands and hangout with my fiance. I live in a nice home, that has 3 other dogs to play with and keep yours company. They are well behaved and trained Frenchies. There is a nice sized backyard where they can run and play. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
