“Benji seemed to really enjoy his time with Kim. I received several updates and pictures letting me know how things were going during his home away from home stay. I feel comfortable with booking with Kim again.”

“Anastasia was fantastic! Both of my dogs were wonderfully taken care of and had a great time. She kept me updated and made sure to send pictures as well! I will definitely be using her services again!”

“Kayla did a great job with my precious Honey - a 3 year old American Terrier Pit Bull. Honey received so much love and attention. Pictures and updates came around the clock. I will be booking her in the future.”

“Alexander was a lifesaver when I had to go out of town short notice. He was quick to respond, and didn’t hesitate to watch her. He greeted her with a treat and followed my rules that I have instilled at my house with Honey. I would most definitely use him again in the future. Thank you, again!”

About: I have had animals all of my life and love caring for and playing with them. I will always treat your animals like my own. I am a stay at home mom of three, so I have open availability. My two older kidd are gone for school during the week. So its just me and my three year old. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who like meeting new dog friends. They would be let out multiple times a day and fed depending in your feeding schedule and played with constantly.

“McKenzie was the absolute sweetest to my Honey girl! She was very friendly, and kept me up to date on everything while my dog was in her care. She treated my baby like her own, and I couldn’t have been more happier with her service. Thank you again! We will be back.”

“Great sitter!!! Our boys were greatly taken care of and Jasmine did an amazing job of making me feel at ease and comfortable with them staying away with someone new for the first time ever! We will be 100% using these ladies again in the future! I’m super happy with their services:)”

About: I’ve taken care of every kind of dog since I was 12. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I’m currently not working, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! So I’m available anytime I am needed to take care of your pups! I would prefer to take care of your fur babies in your home, so that your pups feel more comfortable in their loving homes when being taken care of.
“Randi was awesome!! She kept my pup for 6 days and when I picked him up he had been bathed and groomed. Communication was easy. She went above and beyond and made me feel comfortable while I was away. 10/10 would recommend”

“Ariana is amazing. She was super flexible and provided plenty of updates. My fur baby was well taken care of and I definitely recommend Ariana for any services she provides.”
“I must say I do get nervous when Luna’s going to someone for the first time because she hasn’t met them before, but it seems that she did a great job. The sitter was very friendly, professional, and communicated very well and sent pictures which I love that. I’m glad that she also had someone to play with. I will definitely be using this Sitter again I highly recommend.”

“Jaci is the absolute BEST! I’ve been using rover now for about 3 years for my dog Jasper. And she’s the BEST sitter out of every sitter that has kept Jasper. Not saying the other sitters weren’t good but Jaci is the absolute best. I reached out to her last minute for overnight boarding. She responds fast. She cares for Jasper like I care for him if not better. She sent me videos & pictures the entire time he was there. She’s the first sitter that has ever welcomed me into her home to check it out just to be sure Jasper is in a comfortable nice and safe home. Jaci’s home is definitely big, nice, & comfortable. She had other fur babies of her own. I knew Jaci would be the best after dropping him off to her. He was whining to get out of my arms into hers. If you see this review PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE consider letting Jaci care for your dog. I love her! And I will be letting her sit Jasper again very soon.”

About: Most of my experience comes from caring for my senior beagle, who I’ve raised since he was a puppy. He still has plenty of energy, so I’m very used to daily walks, playtime, and keeping a steady routine. I study from home most days, so I’m around a lot and can give dogs regular breaks, attention, and a calm place to hang out. I’m a medical student who studies from home most days, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I already take my own dog out for daily walks and breaks, so adding another dog to that schedule works well. I can easily fit in regular walks, feeding times, playtime, and checkins throughout the day. I live in a pet-friendly with plenty of open areas to walk. Inside, I keep a clean, supervised, and cozy home. I treat every dog gently and carefully, just like I treat my own.
About: From training four puppies from birth to senior citizenship, I've always loved dogs and they seem drawn to me. I want you to enjoy your vacation while your fur baby is being loved and having fun in their home away from home. Experienced with specialty diets, medication dispensing and senior dog care. SAHM with three dog-loving children who are at school on weekdays. School routine starts around 6:30-7 a.m. and kids are gone by 8:30. I will take your fur baby outside for supervised morning, mid day, afternoon, late afternoon and evenings multiple times for exercise, walks, play time and potty breaks. I have a full privacy fence on a 3/4 acre lot, plenty of yard to run and play and take walks. If requested, I can come to your home multiple times a day for services needed such as potty breaks, walks, play-time, etc.
“We have now used Bryan and Jaymie Bridges twice and could not be happier with their services. Previously when returning home after boarding our animal we would have issues that were baffling and disturbing. Not with the Bridges!! Our precious Harper Leigh returns home from the Bridges with absolutely no changes in her eating, or outside habits. We know this is due to the TLC she receives from the Bridges. Thank you Bryan and Jaime for the peace of mind you provide us while we are away from Harper Leigh!! Ed & Marilyn Middlebrooks”

“This is our first time leaving our puppy and instantly felt comfortable with Keirra and she took excellent care of him! She constantly kept us updated with pictures and the visit. She gave them all of the love and attention that they needed. Highly recommend.”
“Brandi is a Godsend I was so nervous the first time I boarded my Dog Bear with her because he wasn’t use to being around other Dogs and is very shy around people. But everything went well and now he’s like part of their family.”

“Milena was wonderful baby sitting my dogs while i was on vacation in Australia !! She keeps you up to date with them by sends pics to you of them as well !! She’s very lovable towards animals. I definitely recommend Milena. You will be worry free leaving your dogs with her !!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Byron
Maggie kept my Yorkie Belle , who gets anxious when out of my presence Lol . I think she was extra nervous and got sick for part of a day. Maggie kept me informed with messages and pictures all during her stay. I felt confident leaving her with Maggie. If you’re considering leaving your fur baby somewhere while you have to be away Maggie is a great choice. Belle also enjoyed the wide open spaces. Thanks again Maggie.
Maggie was great!! She watched our 6 month old dog for a week while we were on vacation. Was nervous at first because our dog can be timid around other dogs, but Maggie met up with us before booking to make sure Oakley felt comfortable. She sent lots of pictures and gave updates almost daily about how Oakley was acclimating. Can’t recommend her enough, she’s awesome!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
