“Jala was the absolute best sitter ever. This was my first time using Rover and she was amazing. She kept me updated about Coco and his activity. She communicated very easily. I will definitely use her again.”

“Our 2 big dogs seemed to have a great time!! We had lots of pictures of them playing which always puts our minds at ease when we’re away. Bryan said his wife loved our big boxer and wanted to keep him ; ) and that they’re welcome back anytime-always so nice to hear!! We loved knowing they were well taken care of in a fenced in yard, a/c in house-esp with the heat and that they were well loved. Thank you again.”

“I am a thankful a friend told me about this app and I found Maggie! Her and her family were great with our CC! She kept me updated on how she was doing as well as sending pictures! We will definitely book again! Thank you Maggie!!”

“Christopher did an amazing job taking care of my sweet girl! He communicated exceptionally well throughout her stay and was very accommodating when I was running late for pickup. It gave me peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. I would absolutely choose him to watch my pup again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Awesome sitter! They took great care of my two dogs for five days and kept me updated throughout the stay with daily messages and updates on how they were doing. It was clear that my dogs were happy and well taken care of, which made me feel much more comfortable being away from them. No complaints at all, and I would absolutely book with them again when we need a sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Instant good vibes! Ray is very comfortable around dogs and they around him. Updates were frequent and quelled my anxiety. Communication was swift and sweet! Already booked another stay. And the added bow on my baby boy was a nice touch! Thanks Ray!”

“My dog felt right at home! Kim kept an open line of communication the entire week and she sent pics of my dog daily. Her yard is nice and big and my dog definitely enjoyed the space to be able to run freely. Kim also has other pups that My Star got along with just fine. I will definitely be using Kim again to care for my baby.”

“Anastasia was fantastic! Both of my dogs were wonderfully taken care of and had a great time. She kept me updated and made sure to send pictures as well! I will definitely be using her services again!”

“Kathy took all the stress out of boarding our dog for the first time. Constant updates on how our fur baby was doing. Our dog was able to socialize with the other dogs she was boarding and enjoyed his puppy vacation. I highly recommend Kathy, we will be trusting her with our pup in the future.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 13. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and take care of their pets for short to long periods of time. I have two girl dogs myself 6 & 7 years old, I love being with them as much as possible & have raised them since they were puppies. I'm currently working from home and have plenty of time to play and take out your dogs with mine. Every dog has their own routine and I want to help continue to keep your dogs on the same happy and healthy schedule for them to thrive. I have a fenced yard and two friendly girl dogs to keep your fur baby company. If you have specific request like crating your dogs or specific feeding routines feel free to let me know.
About: I have taken care of many breeds of animals. I have given subcutaneous fluids to sick animals, injections, and oral medications. I am willing to pick up after pets, along with scoop litter. I love to play with animals, and I’ll treat them like my own. I am a medical student just trying to get an extra serotonin boost from looking after pets when presented to me. I prefer overnight watching on weekends but can check in on pets anytime throughout the week. Or board them at my place if necessary. I live in a townhouse that has an upstairs and downstairs. There is a pet park on my property that I can walk l dogs to for them to play or fetch, and I have 3 cat trees for your kitties to share with my little boy Leo. I have a cat fountain for cats to drink from that is cleaned weekly, and many animal bowls to go downstairs for pups and dogs. I am more than happy to feed your pets whatever schedule and amount you request as well as give many pets and lovins.
“Randi was excellent! I recently moved to Georgia and was very hesitant about leaving my 15 year old cat but she put me at ease and took the best care of him. I received daily pictures along with detailed updates. My cat looked fine and even snored when he slept so I knew he was doing well. Randi would definitely be a great sitter for your fur baby! 10/10!!!”

About: I have 6 years of professional animal experience! This experience includes working in a dog boarding facility, professional petsitting, grooming, and zookeeper experience working with exotic animals! I work from home running my own craft business, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m able to easily work pet care into my day and can provide morning, afternoon, and evening care depending on your pet’s needs. Since I’m home for most of the day, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention and make sure they’re comfortable and cared for. When caring for your pets in your home, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions provided by their owner, including feeding schedules, medications, routines, and any special safety requirements. I treat every home and pet with respect and make sure pets are supervised and cared for throughout my visit.
“She was absolutely fantastic with my dog. She had him for a couple of days. Everything went so well. She was very communicating with everything going on will definitely use her again.”

“Brandi is a Godsend I was so nervous the first time I boarded my Dog Bear with her because he wasn’t use to being around other Dogs and is very shy around people. But everything went well and now he’s like part of their family.”

About: I have volunteered at an animal rescue around a year. I was responsible for fixing them food, water, cleaning their crate and playing with them. I also had a family dog growing up and currently have three cats. I work from home full-time and get multiple breaks throughout the day, so I am always available at home. I am a homebody and have the time to care for animals. I have a fenced in back yard with a grassy area. Pets sitting on the furniture and being around is no issue. I do have three cats, but I am able to keep them separate at all times.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
