“Crystal is the best!!! THE best. Kind, attentive, and able to be flexible and understanding. I could not have asked for a better sitter and person. She went above and beyond. I am very grateful for her service and my kitties probably think they have a new mom!! Thank you so much Crystal! You rock!!!”

“Leía was phenomenal in every way; I immediately felt at ease during the meet and greet with how she handled the pup even when she was being somewhat temperamental. She communicates well and quite obviously loves animals. 10/10 highly recommend and look forward to using her services again soon.”

“Jennifer was amazing! She listened very well to my instructions for giving my cat his insulin. She wasn't worried about doing it and was very professional. She was very kind and took care of the one she was supposed to take care of, and she was very nice to my other cat as well.”

“Jennifer was amazing with my dog Nova. She came everyday fed her, played with her and my cat although she didn't have to. She was very attentive and gentle with my pets. I had no issues with her coming to my home while I was away and she was sure to lock up and leave the key somewhere I can easily find it on her last day. I appreciate Jennifer greatly and will be using her services again!”

About: I've been caring for animals since childhood. I also have a background as a vet tech. My pet experience ranges from dogs, to reptiles, to birds, and everything in between. I'm a stay-at-home mom with plenty of time to take care of pets on a regular basis. I'm available 7 days a week, including many holidays. I provide care for pets in the safety and comfort of their own homes, feeding and playing with them, taking them out to potty, and making sure they have plenty of clean water for the day.
“Samantha was amazing!!! She's got the 5 stars for good reason. Great care for the kitten and fish also helped keep my plants alive which were struggling. So thankful and will go-to Samantha in the future as well.”

About: I absolutely love animals. I’ve been taking care of cats/dogs for family/friends for about four years now. I have a cat named Leo that I’ve had for two years now. I work between 7:30am and 5:00pm with an hour break five days a week. I can stop by before work, after work, or on my lunch to check on the pets and walk them as needed. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex with a big open, grassy area for them to play if needed. I have a cat that will keep your pet company while I’m at work! I have vet clinic experience that comes in hand in case of an emergency.
“Kaitlyn was super sweet and great with Hudson! He needs a lot of attention and has specific care and she provided all of that. We will definitely use her as often as we need her!”

“Grace was great! Good communication, took pictures, and put my anxiety at ease making sure to report everything that was done with my Logan. Very professional and sweet with Logan. You'll want to book her!”

“Tina was a life saver over the busy holiday break! She took plenty of pictures and I could see that my cat was in great hands, even on Christmas day which means a lot to me since I couldn’t spend it with him in person. Definitely a go-to sitter!”

About: I was given my first cat at age 9 and haven't been without a single pet or multiple pets since then. Initially, I thought I was only a cat lover until my senior pitbull entered my life during college. It really was love at first sight. Since then, we've added two huskies, kitties, and several geckos to our pack. In addition to dogs, cats, rabbits, and chinchillas, I also have experience keeping reptiles. We kept chickens and quail on several acres before relocating to middle Georgia for work, and I recently got the green light from my husband to keep chickens again since moving into our new home. Pet care is constantly on my mind. Our pets aren't always able to communicate their needs to us, so paying attention to their body language and personal preferences is so important. One of our huskies is a senior with a sensitive stomach so we do not feed people food to our pets. Before our senior pitbull passed away, we monitored and cared for his skin and food allergies. I am currently off nights and weekends, and come home for lunch breaks monday through friday to care for my own cats and dogs. Our dogs are under constant supervision while outside since our younger husky is a bit adventurous. We lovingly refer to her as "flight risk" since she is constantly looking for a weak spot in the fence. Luckily, it's a new a fence! I have hundreds of photos of our own pets on my phone and spare storage to share pictures of yours.

Alice was exceptionally reliable and attentive in caring for your two cats and one dog. She followed every single step without question; all instructions were carried out exactly as requested. Her messages and photos for each visit (twice daily x eight days) were calming and proactive. When we returned home, everything was exactly as you’d left it. Alice’s combination of strict adherence to instructions, clear communication, preparedness for contingencies (bad weather), made for a stress-free and worry-free experience.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
