About: I've worked in animal care for several years, starting at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I spent six years. I began as a kennel technician and worked my way up to general manager, gaining extensive experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, behaviors, and medical needs. I'm currently pursuing a long-term goal of becoming a veterinary technician. In my free time, I foster animals for a local rescue that I'm passionate about. I take pride in using fear-free handling techniques, understanding animal body language, working through behavioral challenges, and providing compassionate care for medically compromised pets. While I'm relatively new to Rover, I've been caring for pets in my home for years. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving their owners peace of mind. I'll treat your pets like they're my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I work full-time as a veterinary assistant at a local animal hospital. I have at least two days off each week and work a half day on Wednesdays. While I am away during part of the day, I come home every day during my hour lunch break to let your baby out for a potty break, playtime, and some extra love and attention. In the evenings, I enjoy taking dogs for walks (weather permitting) and spending quality time with them. When I have pets in my care, I plan my schedule around their needs. I avoid making additional plans so I can provide plenty of one-on-one attention, playtime, cuddles, and consistency with their normal routine. I do provide care in your home, with the same schedule/availability. Such as; going to your home on my break to care for the pet(s), only sitting for one family at a time, walks, etc. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable, loved, and at home as possible while you're away. I have a fully fenced backyard. I also have a pool that is currently being fenced for added safety. My philosophy is simple: pets are never left unattended outside. If your pet is crate-trained or simply feels more comfortable in a crate, I have plenty of space to set one up for daytime or overnight use. I only care for one client's pet(s) at a time to provide the safest environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a designated "dog cabinet" stocked with essentials like pill pockets, peanut butter, and ability to keep any medications your pet may need during their stay. If your pet rides in my vehicle, I use a pet seat belt to help keep them secure during travel. I ask that owners provide a properly fitted harness or collar and leash. If you're unable to do so, I have extras available (with your permission) to safely transfer your pet to and from my home and for walks. I do my best to maintain your pet's normal feeding schedule, so I appreciate detailed instructions regarding meals, treats, and any special preferences. I also always ask about food sensitivities, allergies, or other dietary needs to ensure your pet stays happy and healthy. These apply to in your home as well.

About: I’ve grown up with lots of dogs including different breeds & different sizes so I can handle them all. I can give them the attention & fulfillment that they need. I promise to provide the best care for your pet & will make their experience as enjoyable as possible! I am currently in online school for college. I spend 90% of my time at home with my own animals. I have more than enough time to care for others! I have a large back yard with plenty of space for them to run & play. I also live in a quiet neighborhood suitable for peaceful walks. I also have a kitty pool for pups who enjoy to swim. There are endless options of fun for different dogs with different wants. I also have 3 dogs who would greatly appreciate the company. I have a lazy Dachshund who lays on the couch most of the day along with an older Shih Tzu who enjoys spending her day laying in her bed with a pile of food, and lastly I have a Goldendoodle who loves to play fetch, go swimming, and cuddle.

About: Hi! My name is shellawn and I am a 27 year old, pet caretaker, and a mother of one child who is 5 years old. I have one dog name prince who lives with my mother but I still help take care of my longtime prince. I am available for Home Visits for dogs. I can provide feedings, walks, fresh water, medications, and, of course PLAY TIME! Cuddle time is also my specialty :) I have owned and cared for all types of animals since I was 12 years old. Over the years I have been to many classes and courses on proper way to handle and train dogs of all ages, so I can also help with dog training, from house breaking to not pulling when on a leash/ off leash recall. Home visits: I am background checked and can provide references as to my character and work. I realize how important it is for you to feel secure that anyone visiting your home to be reliable, trustworthy, responsible, and respectful. I will treat your home and precious babies with the same care and respect I would demand for my own needs, including frequent communication, attention to detail, and going the extra mile whenever that is required. You can expect me to clean up after your babies and make sure they are safe and comfortable. I document all of your instructions and can provide feedback as needed. Requested information if needed. I work part time so I have plenty of time to play and care for any pets. I am available around the clock for walks or play time. At my apartments, we have a dog park here that is fenced in. Also I am willing to take for many walks in areas that are safe and free of other dogs for safety precautions.

About: I have two pitbulls of my own. I don't care about dog hair or licks. I just love dogs and would love to get to know more about different breeds. I'm a a full time student at college and work part time. I have enough time to take care of any dogs big or small. I have a long fence yard for my dogs to do there business and get some fresh air, they sometimes sleep with me or on the couch.

About: I've worked in dog daycares for a total of 4 years and have trained dogs for 3 years. I love working with puppies in basic obedience training and older dogs for more advanced training. I've interacted with all breeds of dogs and cats and have administered medications like insulin, anxiety medications, and your basic flea and tick prevention. I am a teacher and am lucky enough to get summers off. This leaves me with the flexibility to help others during the busiest months of the year! I have 3 dogs of my own who are well socialized. Any pets in my care, in my home, will need a meet and greet before providing services to ensure the safety of everyone. There will be constant supervision and at least 3 walks a day. I also have a pool that we can use if your pet enjoys the water, which is fantastic in these summer months! During meals, my pets will be separated from yours, if needed, but have the option to eat together. In client homes, I am always respectful and professional. We will discuss all concerns prior to the service and I am always willing to make changes to best suit your needs.

About: I love taking care of animals, and I love to play with the animals and show them love and affection. I used to own a cat and a dog but I did not have the financial means to take care of them. “Sorry Naomi, I wrote a long review when I got back, but it must not have posted. Naomi was absolutely the best!! She took excellent care of our two cats, communicated daily with text msgs and lots of pictures. She took extra special care of them and even hid treats around the house to give them some stimulation. After our relative passed we had no one to care for our cats when we took a trip. One time we used a boarding place were the cats are in a big cage, which we hated to do again.... but was going to for our recent trip but they were booked up. Never heard of Rover, but found it while searching and just loved the reviews Naomi had especially with cats. She came and visited before the trip and we talked for over an hour so I knew we found the right person. I would not hesitate to use her again!!”
