About: Hi, my name is Jada. I grew up with a childhood dog of 14 years before he passed the summer of 2025. I also own a dog named Kade and he is my whole world and is always looking for a new playmate. I would love to help make your life easier by taking care of your fur baby :) I’m a substitute teacher but I’m half the week so I can do school work for my college courses. My schedule is very flexible as I can pick up shifts as I please. I have one friendly pup who loves to play! My apartment has a lot of open space so your pup can move around. My apartment also has two fenced in dog parks so your dog can enjoy themself and get a little exercise.
“My fur babies loved Valerie. I knew they were in good hands with her. She sent us lots of pictures and some videos of their playtime. It warmed my heart to see my boys happy. She even fixed our doggie flaps that came loose so our boys would not be scared to go outside. She hand fed my puppy which I know he loves. I appreciate you taking care of my boys. I would definitely book her again.”

About: I’m 23 and a huge dog lover who’s been around dogs basically my whole life! I grew up with a dog and currently help care for two dogs at home every day. I’ve spent the last 2–3 years helping friends/families with overnight dog sitting, drop-in visits, feeding, walks, and daily care while they’re away. I’ve also been paid for regular dog walks. I love making sure every dog feels safe, happy, loved, and gets plenty of attention and playtime! 🐾 I’m currently working part- time, so I have plenty of time for your pets! I’m available during the week in the afternoons and most weekends. I care for every pet like they’re my own! I try to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible with lots of attention, walks, playtime, fresh water, meals on schedule, and of course plenty of love. I’m very attentive to pets’ behavior and comfort levels and always make sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so owners can feel reassured their pets are in good hands!
“Melauna was absolutely fantastic taking care of all 3 of my dogs. She was on time and communicated with me the whole time with pictures and updates. Will definitely be using her again in the future.”
“Alice was very accommodating with my time frames. She notified me of anything concerning when it came up with one of my dogs. I will definitely recommend using her again for future drop ins!”

About: My name is Truman but I go by Max! I’ve cared for all kinds of animals for years — from dogs and cats to bearded dragons and small pets. I adjust my approach based on the animal’s personality; not every pet wants constant attention, and I’m good at reading what they need. I don’t board dogs or cats at my home, but I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. Clear communication and reliability are my top priorities. I work at Publix, so my schedule can vary week to week. I’m flexible and happy to coordinate drop-ins, walks, or overnights around your routine—with clear communication and quick confirmations. I take a calm, thoughtful approach with every pet. When meeting a new animal, I get down to their level and let them come to me — it helps them feel safe and in control. I respect each owner’s preferences for communication and routines, and I’m comfortable caring for pets in their own environment. You’ll always get reliable updates without being overwhelmed.
“Katherine was AMAZING !!! our babies had so much fun with her, we will definitely be looking forward to having her watch them in the future ! She kept us updated and sent the cutest pictures, if you’re looking for someone who won’t just walk your dog but will play with them and love them to pieces Katherine is your girl! 10/10 recommend ☺️ Thank you Katherine.”

“Leía was phenomenal in every way; I immediately felt at ease during the meet and greet with how she handled the pup even when she was being somewhat temperamental. She communicates well and quite obviously loves animals. 10/10 highly recommend and look forward to using her services again soon.”

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my whole life, once home with us always home. I’ve also spent time caring for friends and families animals, with a pet of my own, I understand that having someone reliable always helps. I am available on weekends and in the mornings during the weekdays, so I have time to make sure your pup family is well taken care of. As a large dog owner I am very comfortable working with all dog sizes. I will make sure that if the yard isn’t fenced they are leashed, so that they stay safe and nobody gets lost.
“We were on vacation for the holidays and Camron took such great care of our baby! He was always on time with drop in visits, took photos, and communicated daily- We’re so thankful for him!”

“Cool people, made sure my babies were well attended to and spent extra time with them. Sent plenty of pictures (the most important thing for me) and took soooo much stress off of my back for an out of town trip. Exceptionally responsive and accommodative to my last-minute booking!”

“Tina was a life saver over the busy holiday break! She took plenty of pictures and I could see that my cat was in great hands, even on Christmas day which means a lot to me since I couldn’t spend it with him in person. Definitely a go-to sitter!”

I worked at Banfield Pet Hospital as a nurse and I'm currently working on my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with a pre veterinary track! I've worked with animals all my life and promise the best and utmost care for your furry friend! I am currently working on Rover as a summer job, so some of my days are free! I can do weekdays, weekends, and can give your animal care during different parts of the day. Please schedule atleast 5 days in advance and I should be able to fit you into my schedule! If your baby is special needs I can also accommodate to that as well (giving medicine, additional time watching them, ect.) and provide regular updates on how your baby is doing!

“Colby was amazing. He did really well with my excitable dog and aloof cat. He didn’t get to meet the cat when he came for a meet and greet but still managed to make friends with her, and that is impressive. My dog is epileptic and there is a medicine schedule but Colby handled it with ease. This was my first time using Rover and I am thrilled with it. I was so glad to find someone I could trust on short notice to take care of our pets. We were camping and away from cell service most of the time but I need not have worried about anything. Colby had it handled. I sure hope he will continue to watch our pets in the future.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Byron with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
