About: I have experience with all types of breeds and I am familiar with breed specific needs. Experience with young and old, big and small. I love them all. I am currently working from home so I have plenty of time to come and care for your furry babies. I am also able to walk them as needed. I have a fenced yard and one dog that is super friendly that will help keep your baby company. I can also crate them as needed.
“Alexander was the Best! Our dog hit it off with him right away! Alexander was great about sending us video clips as well as pictures. We could tell that our dog was well cared for. I would choose Alexander again in a heartbeat! I HIGHLY recommend him. Simply Wonderful!”

“Valerie was amazing! Hunter stayed in her home and was cared for so well. She sent daily updates/photos, and she was reliable with giving Hunter his antibiotics exactly as instructed. I could tell Hunter was comfortable and getting lots of attention. Great communication, smooth pick-up/drop-off, and I would absolutely book with her again!”

“She was absolutely fantastic with my dog. She had him for a couple of days. Everything went so well. She was very communicating with everything going on will definitely use her again.”

“Geri was exceeding kind and accommodating in taking care of my ill-mannered 5-month-old Golden as my family and I turned our attention to a loved one's serious medical procedures. She took extra steps to allow me to limit all my worries to the medical issue at hand. The moment I met her I could see she was more competent with puppies than I and I never had even a fleeting concern about how well Beau was cared for. Even so, she kindly sent video of Beau playing - a welcome momentary distraction from a difficualt day. I am so happy to know I have someone to turn to whenever I may need to be away from Beau for an extended period. She is a true God-send.”

“I am a thankful a friend told me about this app and I found Maggie! Her and her family were great with our CC! She kept me updated on how she was doing as well as sending pictures! We will definitely book again! Thank you Maggie!!”

About: I have volunteered at an animal rescue around a year. I was responsible for fixing them food, water, cleaning their crate and playing with them. I also had a family dog growing up and currently have three cats. I work from home full-time and get multiple breaks throughout the day, so I am always available at home. I am a homebody and have the time to care for animals. I have a fenced in back yard with a grassy area. Pets sitting on the furniture and being around is no issue. I do have three cats, but I am able to keep them separate at all times.
“She is so thoughtful in caring for our fur baby.. our pup has a smiley disposition coming and going. The true test of a caring experience is how your fur baby feels about being dropped off and picked up. Trusted and well cared for in our absence. Thank you!!!!!!”

I will keep a clean and hygienic environment for them. Engage and not leave them alone for a long time. i will care for them in the best possible manner.
“Jodie and Dustin helped Jersey feel right at home. She was given many snuggles and they treated her like their own dog. I knew she was being well taken care of, and Jodie sent me some adorable pictures of her in her home away from home. You can tell they love animals and are both very nurturing people. This was a great experience and I would definitely take Jersey back to Jodie's.”

“Whoopie had a great time with Reanna and her family. I was updated frequently with pictures and status of the stay. Reanna was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Reanna to anyone needing top notch care for their pet.”

“Was very skeptical of app and scared to leave my little one with somebody but omgg she made me soo comfortable Great great service I can just tell she has a love for dogs..very polite and even sent me cute little photo updates will definitely book again our next vacay”

“Adria and her husband took good care of my Bella. It was very cold outside so not much chance for walks or playing.. but Bella was comfy on the bed with blankets and snacks.”

“Arnelia was great with my dogs! She sent many photos and videos, and she ensured they were comfortable playing with the other dogs in the home before allowing them to run around together. We also had a meet-and-greet prior to their stay, which was helpful to ensure it would be a good fit. She has a wonderful fenced yard for the dogs to run in that she keeps well maintained. Arnelia provides training and grooming during their stay and was able to quickly pick up on their training needs. The dogs seemed very happy while they were there. I look forward to working with Arnelia again!”

About: I have had animals all of my life and love caring for and playing with them. I will always treat your animals like my own. I am a stay at home mom of three, so I have open availability. My two older kidd are gone for school during the week. So its just me and my three year old. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who like meeting new dog friends. “Sean took our cat in for a last minute booking. My cat is high anxiety, especially with new people. Sean provided exceptional care & made sure to send lots of pictures of him getting tons of love. This provider is very accommodating and I cannot recommend enough!”

“Lindsey took good care of Nicky, and he came home happy and in one piece. 😊 She arrived a little late for pickup, but otherwise everything went well. Her dog seemed friendly and got along well with other pets. I would have appreciated a few more updates during the stay, but she always responded when I reached out. To be fair, it was a holiday weekend, so I understand she may have been busier than usual. Overall, I had a positive experience, and I'm grateful she took care of Nicky. Would definitely rebook with her.”

Dana and Brandon were an excellent choice for Bean and I. They welcomed Bean into their family and took the time to make sure he was acclimated and comfortable. They provided daily pictures and communication to keep me updated and were flexible in accommodating my schedule. They are most certainly my first choice for future bookings. Thank you both so much!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
