About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life -- both my own dogs and as the go-to sitter for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. Across my extensive time caring for dogs, I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am particularly good with nervous or timid dogs, and I am very comfortable with dogs who have special medical needs. Last year I had to say goodbye to my own greatly beloved dog after two years of very intense cancer care. While I am not ready for a new dog of my own yet, I am eager to shower other people's dogs with affection and care. I have a very flexible schedule and am available for dog care most days. On days listed as available, I am able to spend almost all of the time at home with the dog(s). I do not currently have any other animals in the home, and your dog will receive my full attention! I have a wide variety of dog beds for them to try out and toys for them to play with.

About: I’ve been caring for animals most my life. Prior to enlisting in the military I had a Pitt/Mastiff mix, so safe to say the larger breeds do not scare me. I’ve learned the bigger the dog the bigger baby they are lol. Im transitioning out of the Navy right now and my work schedule is very minimal! I’m available most afternoons and for any evening or overnight needs. My current residence does not accommodate pets but I am mobile for all of your in home needs! I find it best not to take the babies out of their environment if not necessary anyways (:

About: I grew up in a dog-loving home and now have a happy, energetic 2.5-year-old cockapoo of my own. As a certified personal trainer, staying active is a huge part of my life—and I believe our furry companions deserve that same level of care and movement. Living in the city can be limiting for a dog’s activity needs, but that’s where I come in! I’m reliable, energetic, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your pup needs a brisk walk, a potty break, or some midday playtime, I’ll make sure they’re safe, stimulated, and showered with love. Let’s get those tails wagging! I’m currently available in the mid mornings starting at 9am, and am available through 5pm for any drop ins or walks. This may fluctuate some with my personal training schedule but I will ensure I notify all parties when that changes. I do not offer boarding or over night stays at this time but with a walk through of what’s needed for your pet in your home, I’m happy to accommodate!

“Latisha is the best!! She checks in on our cat, Tipsy, whenever we’re traveling. We can always tell by the pictures that Tipsy really loves when Latisha is there and it puts us at ease that our fur baby is well taken care of!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 15. I walked and watched my neighbors, friends and family’s dogs when they went on vacation or during the day for potty breaks. I love dogs and have always had a dog of my own. I will treat your dog as if they were mine. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I walk my dog every 3 hours with a long walk in the morning and evening. I walk my dog very frequently, with a long walk in the morning and evening adding up to 5 miles a day. I can also take your dog to the dog park if you and your dog are comfortable with the dog park. I can crate and give medicine if necessary.

About: I’ve dog sat for my friends an family over the years! Animals have always had a special place in my heart in any shape and phase of their life! I believe animals are apart of the family and should be treated as such! I recently moved to the area and have a lot of free time so I have lots of availability to love up on your animals while you’re away! I live in an apartment building with my dog who is a 2 year old shih tzu who gets along with all animals. We have a potty real grass patch on the balcony that can be used for large or small dogs. We go on daily walks and are 3 blocks away from our local dog park.

“Lara was absolutely AMAZING with my kitties Remy and trixie! They loved her and she was constantly in contact with me and sent me so many pictures! I will definitely be using her again?”

About: I’ve always had a love for animals, and have been blessed with growing up with dogs in all stages of life. I raised a puppy (chihuahua mix) myself when I was in college for a few years, and although it saddens me to not have her, she is living her best life now with my parents and her brother (Maltese mix) back home in RI. Most of my experience is with smaller dogs, however I currently walk a friend’s bernadoodle weekly, giving me experience with a larger dog. I travel back home often preventing me from adopting a dog myself, but would love to be able to play and care for your fur babies while I am here in SD I currently live alone and WFH full time with a very flexible schedule and lots of availability. I typically go on walks every day around lunch time, and attend a hour-long workout class in the evenings. I travel often but with lots of advanced notice. I have a 700sq ft one bedroom apartment with a balcony in a great neighborhood with two dog parks nearby. I live in alone and the place is pretty open.

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, ferrets, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, even horses! While I don’t have any of my own (besides my spunky daughter, who’s a little wild herself), I’ve been loving and caring for animals since I was 13. As a Navy service member for the past five years, pet sitting has been my way of staying connected to my passion. I may not do this full-time, but I’ll treat your furry babies like my own and happily follow any routine to keep their tails wagging (or whiskers twitching)! I’m an active duty U.S. Navy sailor stationed here in San Diego for the next three years, with five years of service under my belt. I work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, but thanks to my flexible schedule, I can make 4+ visits to my clients’ homes during the day. On weekends and after work, I’m available for dog walking, cat care, or house sitting. I’m happy to take your dog for a stroll, or even a run if they’re up for some exercise! I’m very flexible and when it comes to timing and days, I’ll work with what is best for you. I don’t offer pet care services in my own home, as I live in an apartment with my 15 month old. However, I’m happy to care for your pets at your home and will carefully follow any instructions you provide.

“I can’t recommend Hillary highly enough for anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced dog walker or pet sitter. She is incredibly caring and responsive to dogs’ needs, and it shows in how she interacts with every dog she meets. As a former dog owner herself, she provided her own dog with an incredible level of love and attention. That same dedication carries through to every dog in her care. Whether it’s a high-energy pup, a senior dog with medical needs, or a shy, timid rescue, Hillary approaches each one with patience, kindness, and understanding. I have known her for 8 years, and during that time, I have witnessed her love for animals, strong sense of responsibility, and natural ability to connect with many different pets. Beyond being great with animals, Veronica is also punctual, trustworthy, and respectful of other people’s property—traits that are especially important in a role that often involves entering clients’ homes or handling keys. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog with the same care and attention they would their own, please contact Veronica.”
