About: I have been a parent, caregiver and sitter to dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles and fish for nearly all my life. Growing up and living with all kinds of animals in rural Missouri gives me a unique perspective and innate kindness to all animals. As a current pet parent and Rover-user, I understand the patience and reliability that each pet and pet parent needs to feel safe and assured. You can trust that while you’re away that not only will your family member will be treated like my own, but that I will also be hyper communicative, flexible and reachable. I live in the East Village in Lower Manhattan, central to much of the city. I primarily work from home and have control of my own schedule, allowing maximum flexibility. Further, I am commonly in town for major holidays. I practice the utmost safety, organization, cleanliness and communication when caring for all pets, including my own. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our boys! From the very start, Madeleine was kind, reliable, and attentive to every little detail about our cats’ routines and personalities. It gave us so much peace of mind to know our cats were not only cared for, but genuinely loved while we were away. Madeleine kept us updated with daily messages and photos, which was such a comfort, and it was clear the boys felt safe and happy in her care. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and absolutely wonderful with cats, I can’t recommend Madeleine enough.
Angela was very responsible, arriving on time each time. She was also great with our animals! Our cat that is normally very skittish and hides from everyone, came out from under the bed for her on the first day. We loved getting pictures of him interacting and enjoying the attention each day. We also have an unusual pet - water turtle - that she took good care of. We would definitely hire Angela again!
Laura was amazing! She was very responsive and confirmed my request immediately, which was such a relief as I had to find a last minute sitter for my cat. She took such great care of my kitty and kept me updated with sweet photos and messages every day.
