“I have a very anxious dog who doesn’t typically eat when we are away but Meagen did what she could to make her feel more comfortable and find something that she might eat. Our dog finally started playing a little with the other dogs so that was good to hear. It was nice for us to know she was well taken care of since it was stressful for me as well.”

“My girl came home happy and she didn't want to leave her vacation! Erica was communicative and sent a picture or video almost every day which I told her gave huge comfort to my toddler. She delivered all of Coco Chanel's meds without incidence (and even gave her bi-weekly subcutaneous shot). Thank you Erica, we will book with you again!”

“Susan took very good care of my dog Arlo. She constantly sent pics and keep me posted about how my dog is doing. I will definitely consider sending my dog to Susan for boarding when needed.”

“Dolly is wonderful with my dog Roxy. She takes off a long walks football games and sends me regular pictures and updates. Doesn’t she remembers to give her her medicine Roxy comes back home happy and healthy.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs for family and neighbors for several years. I provide reliable attentive care and will make sure your pet will feel safe and loved while you are away! I have a 4 year old Shiba Inu at home so I’m used to dogs with personality. He might growl at first but has always gotten along with the dogs we’ve hosted. I work from home two days a week so I am free to care for doggies 4-5 days a week. I have two kids in school that are also in sports. So we might be gone for an hour or two but never longer. I provide a safe and caring home for your pet while you are away. I will provide pictures and updates of our walks and playtime.
“Lily is s superfriendly. She and her family were very caring with our pet. She sent texts and pics. She is very quick to respond to any questions or information. She was great and we have already scheduled our pet's stay with her. Would definetly highly recommend Lily.”

“Our first experience with Alyssa and Josh was excellent from start to finish. They were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable the moment we arrived. Alyssa was confident and relaxed around a large dog, which immediately put our minds at ease. It was obvious she has experience with dogs and genuinely enjoys being around them. When we picked Kable up, he was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. As any dog owner knows, that's the best indication of a great dog sitter. We could tell he received plenty of attention and was treated like part of the family while he was there. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Kable with Alyssa and Josh again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring dog sitters.”

“Lori was fantastic! She was able to take Colby last minute, and it worked out perfectly. Lori was so sweet and I know that Colby was lovingly cared for. She sent us pictures and stayed in touch.”

“My first booking with Casie went very well. Casie was very curious and asked many questions about my pup Bailey’s preferences. Several photos and videos were sent over his 2 night stay. I believe she is a dedicated and responsible pet sitter and will consider using her again.”

“Our pup had an amazing time at her overnight stay with Samantha! Sam took great care to make sure she was having fun and had plenty of time to play. Love that there are other dogs around as well. We will definitely be booking again as I trust Sam to be sure my dog is safe and happy while we are away.”

“This was KoKo’s first time with Amanda and she was great at making her feel comfortable. She sent pictures and updates which made me happy. :) She also has a great big yard. looking forward to many more stays with Amanda. Definitely recommend her for your pup.”
“Manu and Dhruv took great care of our dog while we were at the beach for over a week. We received daily pictures and updates so we knew he was doing well. Highly recommend this sweet family to take care of your pup! Will be booking with them again :)”

“Adina is reliable, caring and so helpful when looking after our pup. I feel at ease when she’s with her and am grateful for her help and the regular updates.”

“Bridget is absolutely amazing!!!! She provided us and our pup a stress free vacation. She is more than understanding with each dog’s special needs and literally cares for them as her own. She was always very responsive and sent updates, pictures and videos during our time away. Our dog Gimli came home happy and healthy and we will continue to use her as a sitter in the future.”

“SIQI was the best dog sitter we have ever had for our 2 medium to large dogs. She was extremely responsive and very kind. She had dogs before and knows how to care for dogs really well. She went above and beyond for our girls. One of our girls nails chipped and she quickly sent a picture and followed up with what she did. We are looking forward to having her care for our girls in the future!”

“Raj took a great awesome care of Buddy, he was so happy there with her family. He was given a lot of affection and care. We are so lucky to have found Raj, and in fact I feel that I’ve found a good friend in her as well!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lionville
Elizabeth and her family were great. They treated Ollie like a member of their family. Ollie had a great time and seemed very happy. Elizabeth sent us lots of pictures and videos through Ollie’s stay. That was greatly appreciated. If you’re looking for someone to board your dog, I would highly recommend Elizabeth. We’ll definitely look to Elizabeth to board Ollie again in the future.

We couldn’t have asked for better care for Chief while we were away! She was so kind and thoughtful, sending pictures knowing how much we’d be missing him. Between walks, playing ball, and plenty of playtime with her dog, Chief had a little vacation of his own! She even drew a picture of him, something she enjoys doing in her free time, which was such a sweet, personal touch. Knowing he was happy, loved, and having fun gave us so much peace of mind. We highly recommend her and would happily book with her again!

We’re very fortunate Erica could watch our mini poodle Juno again. He stayed with her for 11 days and we had complete confidence he was in great hands. She updated us frequently with texts, pictures and videos, reassuring us that all was well. Erica also gave Juno lots of love, play, and took him on walks. We are very happy with the quality care he received and will continue to hire Erica for future trips.

Deepak, Derek and Family are amazing sitters. It is so reassuring getting updates and photos while we are away for our dog Buddy. I also love they only have one family at a time. They always follow feeding instructions and when he comes home he doesn't miss a beat, like he did when previously boarded at a kennel. I would have no problem recommending them for any person looking for the in home boarding situation.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Lionville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lionville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Lionville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
