Pet care experience

Play, cuddles, walks, repeat!!

My hands-on pet care experience comes from being a dedicated dog mom to three wonderful dogs. I currently care for a 13-year-old Shih Tzu, Dash and a 4-year-old Goldendoodle, Bubba giving me experience with both senior dogs and younger, energetic breeds. We recently lost our 14 year old Maltese, Ice T to heart failure, he fought hard and strong for 3 years. Caring for my senior dogs has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and recognizing the unique needs that come with aging pets, including maintaining routines, administering medications when needed, and providing extra comfort and attention. At the same time, my Goldendoodle keeps me active with regular walks, playtime, and plenty of mental stimulation. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I will care for your pets with the same love, attention, and compassion that I give my own.

Working with Liz has been a great experience. She is very responsive and flexible with my requests. She took good care of Millie, our 7 year old Golden Retriever. Kept us well informed throughout Millie’s stay through short updates and pictures. I would certainly recommend her and plan to use her services again.

Elizabeth took such great care of Millie, our 4-year-old mini Goldendoodle! She kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and texts, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Millie is a very picky eater, and Elizabeth went above and beyond to make sure she was eating her meals and feeling comfortable. I truly felt like I was leaving Millie with a family friend rather than a sitter. ❤️ We couldn’t have asked for better care and highly recommend Elizabeth! We will definitely be booking with her again. :)

I had to leave out of town unexpectedly for a work trip and I was so grateful to have Liz , who was my neighbor then to care for our dog. She kept us updated with pictures everyday and took very good care of her. We are incredibly grateful for Liz and would trust her with our dog again in a heartbeat.

Schedule

I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide frequent attention, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine, as I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and personalities, from senior dogs to active younger dogs. On weekdays, I'm typically available in the mornings, during lunch, and throughout the evening. Weekends are generally open, allowing me to provide additional playtime, exercise, and one-on-one attention. I only take one pet at a time so I can ensure each dog receives personalized care, supervision, and lots of love while their family is away.

Pets

A typical day

Our day starts as early at 5am- our first walk of the day. Followed by a power nap and breakfast at 8am, we then head out for a long walk and some free play in our fully fenced backyard. A doggy door lets them in and out at their own convenience, water bowls are left in the yard, deck and inside the house. Afternoon walk at noon and back for a snack/treat and rest. 4pm we’re back out in the backyard, playing fetch and free play. 6:30pm is dinner time, followed by a walk and some more free play in the backyard. We walk again around 9-10pm and head straight to bed.
