Now, after having returned from a 10 days trip and picking up Ozzy at their apartment I can honestly say they have been the best dog sitters we've ever found on Rover! And we've been using rover for 3 years so that really says a lot. We've always had great experiences with other sitters but with Rowan and Karolina it was simply an amazing experience! It's always so hard for us to leave Ozzy with someone new, especially because he's scared/anxious at first with new people but a few hours in and he was already fully settled in. They sent us regular photos, videos and text updates on how Ozzy was doing and we could tell Ozzy got fully immersed in their lives - it was as if in so little time he was part of their family! About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all personalities and ages. I’ve had my own dog since I was 14 and grew up helping take care of friends’, neighbors’, and family dogs as well. I’m comfortable with reactive dogs, shy dogs, senior dogs, and puppies, and I always try to make each dog feel safe, loved, and understood. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been the go-to dog person in my circle for years through referrals and recommendations. I love long walks, playtime, and giving dogs lots of attention and affection. I can’t have another dog of my own right now, so this is such a fun and fulfilling way for me to spend time with animals and help other pet parents feel at ease while they’re away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m open to boarding, dog walking, and check-in visits, and I love getting outside and spending time with dogs whenever I can! 😊 Every pet is different, so I always adapt my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Some dogs love lots of play and long walks, while others need a calmer environment and a little extra patience to feel safe and relaxed. I pay close attention to owners’ instructions and make sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved whether I’m in their home or mine. Literally the best dog sitter, I can’t imagine anyone ever measuring up to her. She really treated my dog like her own and he loved it there so much he was sad to leave her. It was my first time leaving my dog with someone so I had lots of separation anxiety, but Amanda sent me so many photos and videos that I was able to get through the weekend and she constantly provided updates about when he ate and when he went to the potty and all the adorable things he did in between. She was so patient and understanding when he had an accident and is incredibly experienced in caring for dogs. It was so great that I found Sal. I was nervous of leaving my pup, Soba for the first time, but Sal put my mind at ease with the updates. My pup looked so happy (from updates) during her stay with Sal. I thought she wouldn't come with me when I picked her up. Will definitely book Sal again!
