I’ve been caring for and training dogs since I was 8 years old, and animals have always been a big part of my life. Today, my fiancé and I have created what we lovingly call Pups Sanctuary. It is a calm, cozy home where dogs can feel safe, cared for, and genuinely part of the family while their people are away. We share our home with Brando, our friendly 10-year-old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier mix), who is gentle with other dogs and enjoys having canine visitors around. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ pets during weekends, holidays, and vacations, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup in someone else’s care. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be home throughout the day. Your pup can enjoy regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, attention, cuddles, and plenty of companionship instead of spending long stretches alone. At Pups Sanctuary, our goal is to make each dog feel as comfortable and settled as possible. We’re happy to follow your pup’s normal feeding schedule, walking routine, sleeping preferences, crate routine, and any special instructions that help them feel secure. We also have multiple crates available if your dog is accustomed to using one. Whether your pup loves long walks, play sessions, belly rubs, following us from room to room, or simply curling up somewhere cozy, we adjust our care to their personality and routine. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always our priority. We want Pups Sanctuary to feel less like a boarding stay and more like a warm home away from home.
