About: I absolutely Live for animals. Since I was small I knew working with animals was my passion. They bring me an extreme amount of joy and love and I promise to love and treasure your pup like it is my own. Many think of their dogs as "just dogs", I believe there is something deeper and far more special between a relationship with a person and their pet. My dogs are my family and I adore them. I have had dogs growing up my entire life, and when I was old enough to live on my own I started to rescue and foster senior and disabled dogs. I currently have a blind Pekingese who I rescued a day before euthanasia who is the love of my life, and a one eyed terrier who I rescued after being hit by car. I deny No pet, and usually I am the go to person when friends or family need a dog sitter if they are going out of town. I have worked with Both the ASPCA and Dogs without Borders in Hollywood, CA. If your pet stays with me it will be treated like my own, if I do stop in visits for walks they will enjoy time at the park and being outside. I have experience with deaf dogs, blind, and 3 legged dogs. Dogs who have been on 3x a day medicine, overly friendly dogs and the scared, timid dogs.

About: **My FT job is a revolving schedule meaning I do not always work the same exact shift daily and may not have the same exact days off weekly.** NYC AREA ONLY! I must be able to reach your address via transit. Due to transit times, I may not be able to take a last-minute request. **Dogs I have 17 years of experience, cats I grew up with and rabbits I have 7 years with** I had the pleasure of owning a big beautiful rottweiler greater swiss mountain dog boy for many years until I lost him to cancer. I also grew up with cats! Check out my kitty profile to see my best friend, an orange tabby boy. He made it all the way to high school putting up with me before it was his time to go. Losing him was as hard as losing my college best friend, my rottie mix. . Outside of that, I professionally raised, trained, and showed rabbits for a decade and had a professional show horse while I was in college. With the passing of my big rottie boy, I couldnt bring myself to have a new dog and my schedule is too busy to own another these days so instead I offer my services to help other busy pet owners. I have worked with pit bulls, huskies, stubborn shepherds, all kinds of dogs from volunteering at shelters to taking care of friends dogs while they were out of town to just helping neighbors get in potty breaks and walks for elderly pet owners who cant always go for long walks. . I am in my later 30s and have experience in the hospitality industry, corporate security industry, airline industry, and medical field (ex FF/Medic). Your pet is like one of your kids- their safety and security matters as much as someone who understands animal body language. Your dog and I can work on basic things like leash manners while on our walk (its all included if they need it). . **Schedule notes cont: I am only given a short amount of schedules in advance so I have no way to book beyond my current assigned FT job schedule. Regretfully, I am not able to pre-book pet clients then tell the FT job I cant work those days. They will not honor that request as the contract with them strictly says they are the first priority- meaning I HAVE to wait until they release any upcoming weekly schedules. This is beyond my control and I applogize for the inconvience it causes. I do state that I only do pet services in my FREE TIME which means whenever Im not commuting to work or have to be at work. Please take this into consideration when booking! I am ONLY available to take dogs out for walks in my FREE TIME. Must book at least 24 hours in advance. I will update my availability based on my primary job schedule, any time I am out of town, or unavailable due to personal life appointments. NOTE: My day job is a revolving schedule. I am not always available the same time daily or weekly. You MUST discuss this with me as I only recieve so many company schedules in advance. IM AWARE THIS IS NOT CONVIENIENT, but my hands are tied. This is how the company operates. I do NOT offer in my home sitting (my landlord does not allow pets in this facility/only service animals). I am a will check on your pet house call and on the go dog walker only. If your dog does not have a harness, I will NOT be walking your dof for their OWN safety. Dogs can easily slip out of leashes. It also helps them with leash manners and allows me better control of them if I needed to move them quickly from a situation. I prefer to walk dogs away from busy roads/busy intersections and will take advantage of any nature trails nearby. Dog parks can be stressful on dogs, so unless your dog has playmates that it regularly sees at a specific dog park, I will not take your dog to an unfamiliar area and let them run free with other dogs where they could become involved in a fight. Generally, I walk them around their local neighborhood or on a nature trail. NO car rides (I dont even have a car). Your dog always stays close to home and in a familiar environment. Treats will be used for positive reinforcement but due to dogs having food allergies, I DO NOT provide treats. All owners must provide their OWN pet-specific "safe treats" and note ANY restrictions such as "Only one or two whole treats" or for bigger dogs, "5 cookies max" (these are just generic examples, its up to you to know your pets diet and leave instructions for what your pet needs). CATS- same deal, although cats typically wont take treats from strangers so don't be offended or surprised if you find kitty crunchies left untouched. Kitty churus/"tubes"- if your cat cannot have the whole tube, please leave a ziplock baggie that I can put the remainder of the tube in. I will only squeeze out the directed amount and then place the tube in the baggie and leave it in your fridge so it doesnt spoil from the coastal heat/humidity and so bugs cant get in it.

About: I started taking care of my friends dog for about a year now. Before going on vacation, they would bring their dogs care stuff and a scheduled list and times he would eat. I would play, feed and bathe the dog. I work per diem at the hospital so I take care of your dog anytime. I’m flexible. Just let me know ahead of time so I can coordinate with my work schedule. I have a fence and a decent size backyard. I can follow a scheduled regime for your dogs needs. I used to have a dog so I understand the importance of taking care of your dog with the upmost care.

About: I am located in Long Island, New York! I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love them! I’m experienced in caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, and I’m passionate about making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s walking, playing, or providing companionship, I’m always excited to spend time with pups! I am currently taking pre requisite classes for graduate school so my schedule is pretty flexible right now! The dogs will be taken care of throughout the day as needed! About: I'm a very caring person who has two dogs of my own. they get a lot of attention and are always out for a walk I'm also always giving snacks out their able to relax in the rooms their able to play with other dogs my dogs are friendly which makes most dogs comfortable to play with them. I love playing with the animals. I also enjoy petting. I can give then baths and do their nails. I'm also able to shave them if you would like. I've had pets all my life so I am able to deal with pets. I feel like pets should be treated like humans because they have feelings just like we do. Many people don't understand animals but I think it's easy all they want is love and attention. I’m currently free everyday of the week at any time so I can work with the schedule you choose to provide me with it’s no issue I don’t have a fenced yard but the little babies will go for a walk three or 4 times through out the day so that’s a plus.

I'm a wildlife biologist, and I've spent most of my life taking care of animals — in a veterinary setting, on wildlife conservation projects, and growing up in my own home with my family pets. I work as a full-time biologist during the spring/summer, and will have open availability over the fall, winter, and spring to help with your pet care needs! I started out as a kennel technician at a veterinary hospital, where my days were cleaning dog kennels and cat cages, feeding and watering, walking dogs, giving oral and topical medications, holding animals for exams, and keeping daily records on everyone in our care. This job is where I learned how to understand an animal’s body language, and how to adjust my own to make sure they feel safe. Since then I've graduated from university and have worked as a field biologist for state and federal agencies, most recently monitoring endangered shorebirds at Jones Beach State Park here on Long Island. Along the way I provided daily care and feeding for state-owned horses in Oregon, and I've handled, banded, and released wild birds across four different groups — songbirds, raptors, waterfowl, and doves. I'd love to meet you and your crew! Currently, I have open availability from 10 am - 9 pm 7 days a week for drop ins and walks. For overnight stays, I am available anytime with 1-2 days notice. Before the first visit I do a free meet-and-greet. I want to see where everything lives — food, leash, litter, carrier, cleaning supplies — and I write the routine down rather than trusting my memory: feeding times and amounts, medications, which treats are allowed, how your dog behaves on a walk, and anything that frightens them. I also want your vet's name and number and a backup contact before I'm ever in the house alone. The thing I'm most careful about is doors. I come and go deliberately, I know where every animal is before I open anything, and I never leave a door propped. Dogs stay leashed the entire time they're outside with me, with no off-leash exceptions unless you've asked for it specifically. I give Medication exactly as written, at the time you've specified, and I confirm each dose with you. I don't adjust a dose or skip one because an animal is being difficult — I'll message you instead. Following written protocols precisely is most of what my professional work has been, in a veterinary hospital and in the field, and I treat your instructions the same way. I pay attention and I report: appetite, water, litter box or bathroom habits, energy, and anything that looks off. If something seems wrong I'll contact you right away. If it looks like an emergency and I can't reach you, I'll get your pet to your vet or the nearest emergency clinic and keep calling. And I look after the house. I clean up after your pet and after myself, I keep your keys and door codes private, I don't bring anyone with me, and I leave the place better than I found it. You'll get photos and a short real update after every visit. I also welcome any feedback, as that helps me do a better job in the future!
