My husband and I went away for the holiday (9 days) and wanted our 9mo Murphy to be taken cared of by a person and not just a boarding facility. I found Nachay by filtering through my preferences and we are so glad we found her! Not only was she absolutely a pleasure to deal with, she was so responsive to us and sent us so many photos and videos daily- even though we didn’t even ask for it! We also FaceTimed our dog (he didn’t care hah) but it was nice to have done that being that he’s a very full energy pup! She has a great fenced in backyard and for our dog it was absolutely perfect. A little about my background: I was a volunteer dog walker at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh, NY for about 3 years. I would routinely walk strong dogs with a lot of energy and was involved in training them to walk better on leash. During the pandemic, while working from home full time, I became my neighbors dog walker for their Husky and 2 Chihuahuas because why not!! Her house is well set up for a nice size group of dogs and it has a nice fenced in back yard. Gloria emailed me videos of our dog to ensure us he was doing well. And she texted questions when a decision about a treat needed to be made rather than just give him something that we were aware of. There are no restrictions on drop off or pick up times. We live in a really quiet neighborhood so walks are peaceful! There’s a park where we can walk around and enjoy the outdoors. In our home, we have an open set up and would love for your dog to spend as much time with us as possible. But if your pup needs some alone time, we have a separate area for your pup to decompress. We have a 3 year old toddler who loves dogs! We’ve taught him how to pet pups gently and he loves giving treats! He won’t interact with your dog unless the dog initiates. He stays away from the food and water bowl.
