Dog Sitting Liberty

About: My first job was dog sitting when I was 13. I’ve had a dog(s) my entire life. I worked as a dog trainer and master groomer for over 20 years but have since retired from both. Now I have the pleasure of serving the animal community as an adoption counselor matching lost/lonely pets with their new “fur”ever families. It’s my absolute joy to love on every dog I have the pleasure of sitting with. I am currently working only three days a week part time and am hoping to be able to end that job and do Rover full time. When in my home, I live in a small neighborhood in a home with a large fenced in yard. I have an 11 year old dog named Tallulah who is friendly to all dogs. While at my home, we can take walks in the neighborhood and at the local wooded park. I’ve described a typical doggy day of possible activities below.

About: As dog trainer, I have vast knowledge of most breeds . I am the go to for family and friends if they need help with their pets! I work full time as a dog trainer, my normal days off are Fri and Sat. I can provide services after my work day or on my days off . I have fenced in yard. However I am not offering in my home services at this time . I can provide txt, pictures or videos while I am with your pet .

About: For the last five years I house sat and walked many dogs but my primary job was to care for a single house of 8 dogs as well as other farm animals. The dogs ranged from puppies to end of life, and as such I am comfortable caring for any dog at any age. It was so much fun (and work) getting to learn each dogs personality and habits and catering to those needs. This includes individualized walks and playtime's, special treats as each dog has their favorite, as well as caring and cleaning up after dogs when they have potty problems. I'm capable and comfortable administering any medicine if needed. I'm flexible and can work with your schedule. I can't wait to meet your dog!

About: I have experience caring for dogs every day through my own pets. I currently have three medium-sized dogs and a puppy under one year old, so I understand the needs of both adult dogs and young puppies. I am patient, responsible, and attentive, and I enjoy providing exercise, playtime, companionship, and lots of love. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine because I care for my own dogs every day. I make time for feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure they are comfortable and happy. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide reliable care, regular check-ins, and plenty of attention for pets throughout the week. I enjoy spending time with animals and can easily fit pet care into my daily routine. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure pets always have access to fresh water, a safe environment, and plenty of attention. I am careful to keep doors, gates, and leashes secure and to monitor pets during activities. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: Through my work with Battle Buddies, a nonprofit that raises and places service dogs for veterans, I gained valuable experience being around dogs regularly and observing the care, structure, and attention they require. In addition, I’ve cared for dogs belonging to friends, family, and private clients through pet sitting and drop-in visits. As a professional photographer, I also love capturing pets’ personalities and include complimentary photos during our time together! I have a flexible schedule and make pet care a priority. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or extended care, I plan my day to ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and care they need. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help their pet feel comfortable and secure. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, fresh food and water, and keep the home clean and respected. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.

About: Before I moved to College of Charleston I pet sat around my neighborhood for around 2 years. I also have 4 dogs at home including a foster dog currently and would love to meet y'all's furry friends because I don’t have an animal in my dorm currently! I can walk your doggies pretty much any time except for Wednesday's and Sunday's! typically on weekdays it’s after 12pm, and on Saturdays it’s all day! I take care of my animals with love. sticking to their schedule while involving the upmost playfulness and kindness. I will clean up after them, and like i would with my own dogs and cats put their safety and health first. If there was ever something to happen, immediately calling their owner and sticking by their 4 legged side!

About: I have owned pets all of my life. Over the years, I have owned dogs, cats, chinchillas, and conures. Pets are members of your family, not just animals living in your house! I am 65 years old and I currently substitute teach part time. I would be very flexible with hours to visit to your home and when I come see your pet; I will treat them as if they were my own. When coming into your home, I would take the time to get to know your pets needs and personality. Every pet is an individual. They need to be treated with respect and loving kindness.

About: There has never been a year without pets in my life. They always come first and will receive loving, attentive care as if they were my own babies. I’m a full-time Senior at Clemson University, majoring in Animal Veterinary Science with a pre-vet focus and a biology minor. I’ve dedicated my future to animal care and manage my schedule well to ensure reliable availability! I’ve cared for various pets over 20 years, including a guinea pig, fish, cats, dogs, a bunny, and a turtle! This experience makes me adaptable to different animals and their needs. I’m also comfortable feeding, providing water, and keeping pets entertained!

About: I always grew up with animals, all rescues: many dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, gold fish lol. And had two cats in my adult life, for 15+ years, that were my first kids until they passed of old age. I adore both cats and dogs, and have also taken care of rabbits, chickens, Guinea pigs, lizards, and fish. We are an animal loving family, very active and love to be out on walks and in nature. We love to cuddle the animals on the couch/ make sure they feel calm and safe. I feel like I can talk to cats, and have always understood them. I love dogs just as much, but cats maybe 2% more haha. We don’t have any pets of our own at the moment and are really missing them! So we get our fix, by fostering lost cats who have found us, taking care of strays, and by taking care of other people’s fur babies and giving them all the love and attention. We love petsitting for friends, neighbors, and people we’ve been referred to. Please see all my photos with pets we’ve owned or petsat :) I work from home and am flexible. My son is at school until 4 on week days, and then we are home. Our home stays quiet and calm. And when we’re outside/ on weekends, we love to be outdoors. We have a great gated dog park at our apartments that is nice, and many well behaved dogs live here in the complex— if your dog likes other dogs this could be great! We’d love to walk dogs and take them hiking and on adventures, if they enjoy that! We have an apartment, but are more than happy to take care of small/ medium dogs, and cats, rabbits, etc, if they are free of fleas (please make sure!), and don’t normally have a peeing issue (I have dealt with that a lot with my past kitties.) We keep the house calm, and I know cats love it here. We have petsit many animals at my home, at their own homes, staying there, or visiting twice a day to walk, feed, play, and love on them.
