About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. My pets are my children so I love them fiercely. I have worked with and volunteered with animals for the last 15 years. I’ve spent time with pets in a clinic environment as a vet tech, a shelter environment as a kennel tech and dog walker, and a rescue environment as a volunteer. My volunteer time has included transporting pets, walking dogs, helping mamas who just had puppies, and loving on new puppies too! I have flexibility and freedom with my schedule. I can do drop ins, stay and visit with your pet for a bit, and do feedings or give meds if need be. Because my own dogs can be knuckleheads, I can take care of your pets in your home. It might help make their time away from you easier for them anyhow. I can take them for walks, play with them in your yard, take them for car rides, and just hang out with them. My goal would be to make your pets as happy and comfortable as possible. When they’re happy, you’re happy…and then you can enjoy your time away.
“Heather was a great pet sitter! The daily check-ins and photos showed us that our pet was being well cared for, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely use her again if she is available for our future travels.”

“Timothy was great with Ozzy. Ozzy was a little nervous at first, but Timothy was patient and calm and let Ozzy get used to him. He seemed very comfortable and experienced. 10/10 - will book with Timothy again!”

“Alina was truly amazing with our cats. She spent time with them and they warmed up to her really quickly! Alina treated them like her own pets and took great care of them and there needs. I will definitely be using her again and again!”

“Mary did an amazing job! While we were on our trip, several states away, our AC broke and Mary went above and beyond to look after our pets while we tried to coordinate a repair. With all that stress, knowing someone was doing such a good job looking after our pets was so appreciated.”

“I can’t say enough good words about Michele. We came home to happy and well taken care of cats . Besides following all instructions, Michele’s communication throughout the process was above and beyond. When she came over for our initial visit with our fur babies, she asked questions and was sincerely interested in their care and well being. During every visit we got photos of every cat and even a video. Upon our return home, the litter boxes were obviously taken care of as well as food and water. We will definitely ask Michele back and recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible , knowledgeable and caring sitter . Look no further !”

Would love to start watching other dogs for extra $$$. I’m not currently working , so any time any day is fine. Until I find something better. Just let me know ahead of time all the details. About: Welcome to my page! My passion is spreading the love, and we do that by being loving animal owners ourselves. I have been a caregiver for 25 years and have experience with animals small to large, hedgehog to horse. We love them all! We enjoy caring for a variety of animals and sharing toys, walks, and of course belly rubs. It really gives us a happy boost so we seek it out often. We are a house of many cards, actually animals. We have two dogs, 2 cats, and a bearded dragon. We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to help rescue and release some back yard birds like doves and finches. We really do have a niche for this! I'm currently a stay at home mom of kids and animals. During the day I’m available to come by and say hi, or you can drop off and pick up around your work schedule. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced backyard and take precautions based on each pet’s individual needs, behavior, routine, and current weather conditions. On walks, I use safe handling practices and avoid unnecessary interactions with unfamiliar animals. In the home, pets that do not get along are safely kept separate, and I follow owner-established routines to help minimize stress and anxiety. I believe good pet care also requires good communication, so I keep communication with owners open, respectful, and consistent. At this time, I offer limited short-term daytime boarding when circumstances require it, such as emergencies or helping with a pet’s pickup and care following a veterinary procedure.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Lavon with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
