Availability
I am currently in dental hygiene school, so my weekday availability is limited. I’m generally in school Mon-Thurs. I sometimes have days off and try to keep my calendar updated to reflect that. I’m available most evenings any day of the week. I could also do a really early morning, if that is something you need. I have open weekend availability.

I will play with your fur babies and keep them entertained while you are away. I will send pictures of our time together. I am comfortable giving oral medications if that is needed. I have cared for dogs with anxiety before.
Information Sarah J. would like to know about your pet
Let me know what your pet's typical behaviors are ahead of time (for example how nervous they are and what makes them nervous). If I am walking them, how do they behave around other dogs and people? What special needs to they have? How much attention do they like? What are their eating habits?
A typical day
For cats I will play with them and snuggle if they like to do that. Some cats prefer more independence, so I will give them their space if they are uncomfortable with my presence. If they like treats, I'm happy to give them treats as well. Every dog is different. Very active dogs will need to move around and play more, so I am more than happy to play with them and help them work out some of that energy. Some dogs really prefer a more sedentary lifestyle, so I can let them relax a little more. Some dogs get anxious about new people and places, so I will give them more space and room to adapt and explore at their own pace and level of comfort.

Pet care experience
I grew up with two cats and a dog: Blizzard, Alley, and Shasta. I have always loved the unique personalities each pet has. My most recent fur-baby, a Shih Tzu named Holly, recently passed away after 14 years with my family. I am still grieving the loss of Holly and am currently in dental hygiene school, so I'm not quite ready to adopt another fur baby just yet. I would love to love on your fur baby while you are away! I love dogs and cats and can't wait to meet yours!
Reviews

Sarah did an amazing job with our dogs. She was very punctual & took great care of them. We will definitely be using her again & recommend her to anyone else. Thank you Sarah!

As always, Sarah was wonderful! Punctual, communicative and always send the best pics.

Always so appreciative of Sarah’s communication and attention to detail!

This is our second time having Sarah sit for us. The pups have a doggy door, so she is really there to feed and water. However, both times she has found ways to add something extra to her visits with our boys. We really appreciate her!
