“Erica has been super on-time and communicative, and was able to check in on my cat with a last-minute booking for one more day when our travel plan got delayed. Would recommend!”

“Karleigh took our drop in request on short notice and was super responsive and flexible throughout the week. We felt very confident leaving our cat in her care and she went above and beyond to make sure we came back to a clean house and a happy cat.”

“Xan did an amazing job!!!! She has a great personality, easy to talk with, and super understood what my cats need, their personalities, etc... She showed up like clockwork, sent detailed updates, along with photos and videos. Best of all, my cats didn't give me the usual cold shoulder when I returned from my trip. I highly recommend Xan and will continue to work with her on future visits. Great job!”

“Sarah went above and beyond the call of duty. She not only fed my cats and ferals with care, but also checked on the Rumba robot, straightened the cameras, and even watered the plants. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness were exceptional. I highly recommend her.”

“Bethany was more than amazing in caring for my precious girl cat Venus. Bethany went above and beyond, and became more like a dear friend who communicated very clearly throughout my time on vacation and caring for my cat. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Carla is great! It didn't matter that we booked at the last minute, or that the weather was really lousy while we were out, she kept our kitties nice and happy day after day, and always on schedule ? This was also the first time I've hired a cat sitter, everything from booking till the last day of kitty sitting went smoothly. Would recommend!”

“TeQuilla is amazing! Extremely reliable, very friendly, and goes above and beyond when watching our cats. I would absolutely recommend her to others needing pet sitting services.”

About: I’m a dog dad of 3, I’ve grown up around all animals. I love my children and I want to be able to help people take care of theirs if they need it. I’m currently going to online school which leaves me with a lot of extra time for extra work such as Rover. Outside of taking care of my own babies. I am able to do stop in visits to take care of your fur babies for either a walk, to let them out, or to give them company for some time if they need it.
“What a great first time experience on Rover with Astrid! She was friendly, communicative and thoughtful; her love for animals really showed. Thank you for taking care of our Mellow!”

“We were very satisfied with our first boarding experience. Smokey acclimated the sitter much faster than anticipated. He enjoyed his stay and bonded with the sitter in less than one week. We will definitely use her services again when we travel. This was a long trip (17 days) during the 2025 holiday season.”

About: I’m currently in college and only have school 2 days out of the week, making my schedule pretty flexible. Im able to do check ins and boarding on weekdays excluding Tuesdays and Thursdays. Based on the care I give to my own fur baby, I make sure they’re fed, hydrated, and stimulated. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking closely to their usual routine. In a client’s home, I make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, and a clean space, especially for litter boxes. I spend time with them based on their personality, whether that’s playing, giving attention, or just being a calm presence.
About: I’ve had dogs for over eight years now and I care for them as diligently as I can. I love any and all pets so if hired I’ll care for them as my own I’m currently working part time in the afternoons from 3-6 along with play rehearsals on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, and Saturday’s (I’m not called every day) but during the day I’m free for sitting, walking, and playing. I’m good with animals and consider myself a playful but still diligent person. I know how much love and care goes into taking care of a fur baby and follow instructions to the letter so you can rest assured your pet is getting the best care

“Gina is always great with our animals. She gives our pup almost daily walks during the school year and has dropped in on our kitties when we’re away. She is flexible, responsible, and communicative.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, piranha, bunnies, turtles and rodents, etc! I have always loved and seen animals as the more primal side of our nature but that’s one of the purest forms of love that one can give! I am currently working full time at NIH, and after about 3:30pm, I work with animals around my community. Weekends I like to volunteer with people struggling with bigger dogs and temperament issues. Walking and leash training is key in my experience. I have a big yard for good time and to keep them safe! I love being outside, and making sure that the animals are safe while doing so is of the utmost importance to me !
About: Hello! I've had dogs all my life and worked as part of a rescue group for part of that time. I love dogs and have a lot of experience taking care of them. I can take them for walks, give them lots of attention and if they take any medication, I have experience with that as well. I'm good with any size dog since I've had a lot of different ones from Cocker Spaniels to Irish Wolfhounds. I don't have any "official" recommendations but I have pet sitted for friends of my family a time or two. I'm also good with multiple dogs, having grown up around 6-12 in my house at any given time, along with multiple cats. I would love to be able to pet sit for you! I currently work from home, so I am able to be flexible when it comes to taking care of your furry family members, rain or shine! I can do doggy daycare in my house if your furry friend gets along with mine, but also more than happy to take care of your pets in your home, whether taking them out for a walk, feeding them, or letting them out into the yard.

Lanham-Seabrook cat parents share their Rover experiences
Layla is AWESOME SAUCE!! My kitties are typically "anti-humam other than mommy", but one of my kitties actually made contact with her several times. Layla is very sweet, she's observant, she's thoughtful, she's polite, and she genuinely loves and cares for animals. I'm so happy I was able to find her to look after my babies while I was away. I wasn't worried one bit because I knew she was dropping in on them while I was gone, and she took very good care of them!

Sarah was an excellent sitter for my two cats! One was having some issues and vomiting every day and Sarah took care of everything, which really helped ease my mind while away. She provided clearly communication with every visit and I highly recommend her! I look forward to booking with Sarah for all of my fur children needs moving forward! 😊
