“Karleigh took our drop in request on short notice and was super responsive and flexible throughout the week. We felt very confident leaving our cat in her care and she went above and beyond to make sure we came back to a clean house and a happy cat.”

About: I’m a dog dad of 3, I’ve grown up around all animals. I love my children and I want to be able to help people take care of theirs if they need it. I’m currently going to online school which leaves me with a lot of extra time for extra work such as Rover. Outside of taking care of my own babies. I am able to do stop in visits to take care of your fur babies for either a walk, to let them out, or to give them company for some time if they need it.

About: I’m currently in college and only have school 2 days out of the week, making my schedule pretty flexible. Im able to do check ins and boarding on weekdays excluding Tuesdays and Thursdays. Based on the care I give to my own fur baby, I make sure they’re fed, hydrated, and stimulated. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking closely to their usual routine. In a client’s home, I make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, and a clean space, especially for litter boxes. I spend time with them based on their personality, whether that’s playing, giving attention, or just being a calm presence.
“Sarah was an excellent sitter for my two cats! One was having some issues and vomiting every day and Sarah took care of everything, which really helped ease my mind while away. She provided clearly communication with every visit and I highly recommend her! I look forward to booking with Sarah for all of my fur children needs moving forward! 😊”

“I (and my cat) enjoyed working with Tandy. Tandy is very communicative, attentive, and clearly expressed a joy, care, and sensitivity working with animals. Though Rover, Tandy minded my cat and fish every other day over the course of two weeks. Tandy’s Reports were detailed and this is something I further appreciated: she wasn’t afraid to ask questions.”

“Bryanna was amazing with our shy new kitty. Brought her out of her shell and made her more comfortable in her new home. An unbelievable help and I would highly recommend her to take care of your fur baby!”

“I had a great experience with Ademide. She agreed to cat-sit on short notice and looked after my Luna for a whole week and some days. Our communication was smooth and reassuring and I received timely updates, cute videos and photos that showed my cat was comfortable and happy. My cat seemed relaxed and well looked after when I returned. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.”

About: Hello! I've had dogs all my life and worked as part of a rescue group for part of that time. I love dogs and have a lot of experience taking care of them. I can take them for walks, give them lots of attention and if they take any medication, I have experience with that as well. I'm good with any size dog since I've had a lot of different ones from Cocker Spaniels to Irish Wolfhounds. I don't have any "official" recommendations but I have pet sitted for friends of my family a time or two. I'm also good with multiple dogs, having grown up around 6-12 in my house at any given time, along with multiple cats. I would love to be able to pet sit for you! I currently work from home, so I am able to be flexible when it comes to taking care of your furry family members, rain or shine! I can do doggy daycare in my house if your furry friend gets along with mine, but also more than happy to take care of your pets in your home, whether taking them out for a walk, feeding them, or letting them out into the yard.
“Ms. Samantha is the best! She provided her services in the clutch of time and also got along with my 2 male cats in a jiff! She even convinced them to start using the cat tree that I bought for them months ago. I will definitely request her services any time I go out of town. P.s. this was my first time using Rover. 10/10 would recommend”

“I went away for a week to cali and had no worries. Cam took great care of my little ankle biters. They even had wardrobe changes. My cat Poe even came out to beg her for pets and he usually stays hidden. When I got back the place was clean just like I left it. 🙂 As a sitter myself, I'm super grateful I don't have to worry when I have to travel out of town. Yay Cam🎉”

“Ilia was so with it! She made special accommodations for me, made herself available, and was super communicative throughout the process. She was so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend!”

Yes we are located nearby in the city 🥰 I have a quiet understanding with most animals that I come across and enjoy their company. FARISM27089, https://www.rover.com/sit/farism10342 I am currently focusing on dog sitting and have dedicate my time to being available to meet as many fur babies as I can in the next couple months. I have a room dedicated to pet care which has a greenhouse feel with plants but is fully enclosed in the home. It has a doggy door which leads out to our fully fenced back yard and large dog run with a insulated dog house inside. I also have a wireless camera on the areas which allow me to make sure that everyone is ok at all times. Please note that I no longer accept large breed dogs at this time aside from past clients. I am currently focusing my time on pet sitting. I am always also checking in via webcam on the pups wherever I am. Dog personalities are so amazing and fun to see. I have a double fenced yard to keep your pets safe. Lots of open dog crates and bedding for snoozing. A dog door that allows them some freedom and a large dedicated outdoor dog area for doggie playtime. They also always have access to fresh cool water.
About: Thanks for checking out my sitter profile! I've been watching pets across the DC area for nearly 8 years, which includes experience as a walker and housesitter. I'm a dependable animal lover who will make sure your pet is happy and comfortable even while their people are away. I live with my partner in a very dog-friendly house in Landover Hills. While I manage the Rover account, my partner Lou--who is a caring pet parent with animal experience that includes a stint at wolf sanctuary-- also will keep your pet(s) company. We have two pups: the elderly Walden, a pug who sleeps 90% of the day, and Drax, an active mutt who enjoys playing with friends new and old in our yard but also cuddling up for evening snuggles. We have two cats who are friendly with dogs but have access to a dog-free office if any issues arise (so far we've only had adorable introductions as dogs' first cat friends--many nose boops). The house is in a suburban area and has a fenced in, maintained yard where your pup can happily spend their days playing with Drax, rolling in the grass, and sniffing around. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I work from home most days of the week; Lou works entirely from home. We often have guest animals in the house, so are used to a daily routine of breakfast and backyards romps after wake-up, multiple breaks throughout business hours, and plenty of play time and dinner in the evenings. We’re happy to incorporate your pet’s usual routine into ours to keep them comfy. I’m attentive to dogs in my care and take pride in ensuring they are comfortable while their owners are away. While with us, your pet will be treated like our own and get plenty of attention, exercise, and care.
West Lanham Hills cat parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah did a great job of watching our 2 cats while we were recently out of town. She went the extra mile and navigated a still snow- and ice-covered street to get to our house. She followed all instructions carefully and communicated with us after each visit. Definitely will keep her on my list of top cat sitters.
Sarah was an excellent sitter for my two cats! One was having some issues and vomiting every day and Sarah took care of everything, which really helped ease my mind while away. She provided clearly communication with every visit and I highly recommend her! I look forward to booking with Sarah for all of my fur children needs moving forward! 😊
