She housesat our cat for a few days and took good care of the house and my cat. She is responsible and very responsive, respectful of house rules and schedules. I would love to work with her in the future again.

I booked this sitter for in-home sitting with my 4-month-old puppy, and while I appreciate that life emergencies happen, the overall experience was unreliable and very stressful. We scheduled a meet-and-greet the day before the booking so I could introduce my puppy properly, but the sitter didn’t show up or communicate in advance due to a family emergency. She then promised to arrive before I left for the trip but didn’t arrive until the exact start time of the booking, so no proper introduction happened. During the stay, there was no prior communication about her leaving for work. She was gone for about 4 hours one day, and on Saturday, from 10 AM to 8 PM—long absences that left my young puppy alone far longer than expected or discussed. When I expressed concern, she said she wouldn’t be gone that long, so I canceled a backup walker I’d arranged out of worry, only for the extended absence to happen anyway. On Sunday, she informed me she needed to leave 9 hours early (before the booking end time) and did so 2 hours early. This required me to scramble and hire another walker last-minute to ensure my puppy was cared for. I understand things come up, but the repeated lack of communication and changes without notice made this booking unreliable and caused significant stress, especially with a young puppy who needs consistency.
