About: I’ve had both dogs and cats since I was little, while I’m more comfortable with cats, I am definitely capable of taking dogs on short walks when needed. I’m able to give pets medicine, mainly with food but can by hand too. It’s mainly to give me something enjoyable to do in between normal part time job work to gain a bit of money. I want to start my own pet photography business so getting to meet other peoples pets will help a lot with that too. While I can’t have clients pets stay at my own home, I would frequently check in on them at their home, make sure they’re fed, and have fresh water. If it’s a dog take them for a walk and get some energy out. But mainly I want the pet to be comfortable with me, know that I’m a safe person while their human is away.

About: I’ve always grown up around animals from mice to horses and cows. I love all animals and have always treated pets like family (because they are!). I know how important pets and bonds with animals can be and I treat any animal with love and respect <3 Plenty of friends and family trust me watch and take care of their beloved fur babies<3 I also grew up with 3 pit bulls and helped provide special care for them in their old age. No matter the size, breed, or background, all animals are deserving of love <3 I’m currently doing an EEP program for my college (from home), and I also have another job doing residential cleaning, so this is more of a side thing for me, but I am absolutely ecstatic at the possibility to help take care of some pets <3 I have weekly meetings for my other job on mondays at 8am and if I’m scheduled I usually work for about 2-4 hours. I will keep my schedule updated as I get notified by my other job! I have a fenced yard, as well as an electronic/automatic doggy door (triggered by a sensor on the collar, can be opened manually with the press of a button) to go in and out as the fur babies please! I also have 2 small dogs who get along with other dogs, but they also have separate kennels they can access whenever they feel overwhelmed or stressed. I also have a water bowl/fountain with a filter and keep our current dogs on a feeding schedule. I also have plenty of toys and lots of space in the backyard to run around :) There’s also side walk in all of my neighborhood and I’m able to walk them anywhere around here.

About: I’ve taken care of doggies most of my entire life. I’m experienced, quick on my feet and energetic. Excited to meet your little fur baby! I work from home so I have the flexibility to go out and walk or play with your pup! I’m free all weekends as well. I have my own doggie who is friendly, energetic and loves to play. He gets along with everyone. My house has a big backyard with a fence so the dogs are free to run around as much as they’d like. I also have a portable fence for inside the house if needed.

About: I have been a dog guardian for 40 years including two Huskies for 10 years. I spent 25 years in San Francisco where my dogs went to the dog park twice a day. I was also a volunteer at the SPCA in California where I helped care for the dogs waiting to be adopted. Your best friend will get one on one and 100 percent attention from me. I only board one dog at a time unless they are from the same household already. I am working out of my condo as a freelance designer and make my own schedule. Because of this I am able to provide full time care for pets. I was a volunteer at the SPCA in San Francisco before moving back home to Ohio. I have a condo in Montgomery surrounded by green grass off the road. There is a great park down the road. I also have the option of boarding special needs dogs at our family home 5 minutes down the road.

About: Hi there! I spent several years dog sitting after college as a fun (and furry) side hustle, and I’m excited to be getting back into it. I lost my own pup last year and really miss having a dog around, so I’m looking forward to giving your four-legged family members all the love and attention they deserve while you’re away. While I’m more experienced with dogs, I’ve been around cats plenty and know how to respect their space—or shower them with affection, if that’s their vibe. You can count on me for regular updates, lots of love, and reliable care. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’m happy to chat! I work from home most Monday’s and Fridays, which means I’m typically available for mid-day check-ins those days. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, I commute to my office in Blue Ash, so I’m not available during the middle of the day—but I’m up early and can do morning and evening visits. I’m also fully available on weekends and happy to provide care throughout the day. Just let me know what your pet needs and we’ll make it work! I don’t host pets in my home due to having a roommate, but I’m happy to care for your pets in their own space—where they’re most comfortable. I’ll do my best to keep their routine consistent, make sure they’re well-fed, and of course, shower them with love and attention. You can count on me to treat your home and your pets with respect and care.

“We were so nervous about hiring a stranger for our senior dog's care, but Karen eased our concerns from the first moment we met her! She was focused on understanding the needs of our dog from the start. She stayed in our home so Amelia could be in familiar surroundings. With each update through the week it was evident that Karen was learning our dog's quirks and taking excellent care of her along the way. If you have an older dog that needs oral meds multiple times a day, Karen is the best choice! She even washed the sheets before she left. It was great to come home to a healthy, happy dog and a clean space! I'm sold on Rover and especially sold on Karen! She's my first choice in dog sitting!”
