About: As a SAHM and lifelong animal lover, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet like family. I have an 11-year old Golden Retriever of my own so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, loving companionship while you’re away, or your cat needs attentive care, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently a SAHM and with both of my kids starting school soon, I will have a lot of free time throughout the day to care for your pet. I have a fenced in yard and an older dog that gets along well with other dogs. I walk my dog daily and look forward to walking and spending time with yours.
About: I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Recently, I've looked after British Cocker Spaniels and Rottweilers, and I'm currently a proud cat parent to two wonderful felines who require daily medication—so I'm fully comfortable administering oral meds with care and patience. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether it's feeding them, changing litter, going for walks, or simply offering companionship. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I can drop in for walks, providing food and medication and spend time with them. I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, whether it’s walks, mealtime, play sessions, or quiet companionship. I build in time for check-ins, grooming, and any special needs like medication. I also make space in my visits for updates to pet parents like photos, notes, or quick messages, so they feel connected and reassured. Caring for pets isn’t just something I fit in; it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize comfort, safety, and consistency. I make sure their routine stays familiar in terms of meals, walks, playtime, and rest all happen on schedule. In my home, I create a cozy, pet-friendly space with toys, soft bedding, and plenty of room to explore or relax. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely to maintain the pet’s usual environment and habits. I also keep the home tidy, respect boundaries, and send regular updates so owners feel confident and connected. My goal is to make every pet feel secure, loved, and well cared for, just like family.
“Penny was easy to work with and took great care of our dogs. She was very responsive and took extra care with Evie. We’re grateful for her help and would wholeheartedly recommend her to others.”

About: I grew up with three black cats that I helped take care of with my mom and now I’m a mom to my own Torti. I also help out with my grandma’s dog from time to time. I’m a patient person who doesn’t mind letting a dog lick my face. My full time job is currently up in the air so I have all the time to come over and make sure your pet is doing great and help them with their needs. For my own cat I check her food, water, and litter daily and give her lots of cuddles. I make sure she has access to everything she needs. In my home I have litter boxes on the top and bottom floors with food and water on the main floor. I have plenty of toys and scratchers on every level. I want to make sure my pet and yours have everything they need and access to their needs at all times.

I also know how to ride and care for horses. As you can see I have experience with a large variety of animals. I would love to care for your beloved pet(s). My schedule is very flexible. I find this to be in the best interest of your pet (s) as they are in their familiar surroundings, with their toys, beds and food.
“I would definitely recommend, Jennifer. She is dependable, responsible, and kind. We were unable to do a meet and greet due to my last minute request. But, my dog, Francine warmed up to her immediately which is not the norm. 5 stars!”

About: I have multiple years experience working in a doggy daycare, kennel, and shelter environment. I don't have a dog of my own quite yet, but I am working towards obtaining a certification in dog training. I worked for 5 years at a kennel, and my work there ranged from being a part of the doggy daycare in the back to customer service up front. In my time there I have become fairly knowledgeable on dog behavior, body language, etc. I have been lucky enough to care for more dogs than I could ever count, with personalities to match! They all hold a special place in my heart, and any dog under my care is treated how I would want my own pet treated. I am also working towards a certification in dog training, please message me if you'd like to discuss. I focus on compassion and understanding to build a relationship with the dogs I meet. I am happy to move at their pace and respect their boundaries if they are on the shyer side, snuggle up on the couch, or go for an adventure at a nearby park- whatever your pup loves, I would love to be their new best friend! Pet care is always my top priority, both for my own and any pets I’m watching or caring for. I schedule my hours at work to be able to accommodate the animals I’m caring for. I tend to work mornings/ afternoons, and am able to stop in for a mid day potty break if needed. I do not care for pets in my own home, as my two cats are shy and take some time to adjust to new animals. But I dedicate myself to taking care of animals in their homes or if I have a dog out on a walk! I do my best to replicate the schedule and environment that pets are used to to keep them as comfortable as possible. I like to hear of any quirks that may be helpful in making your pet more comfortable.
About: Hi! My name is Kaylee and I would love to spend time with your furry babies! Message me with questions about days I have open availability in the mornings! Growing up taking care of dogs made me realize how special the bond can be between you and any furry friend. I have experience in my daily profession working as a dog bather and in a doggy daycare! I love making friends with all of them and making sure they're all taken care of like family. During your dogs adventure with me I'd like to make the experience the most comfortable and enjoyable for them as possible. Additional services such as nail trimming, trail hiking, adventures and training sessions can all be included as well! All pets must be completely up to date on rabies, bordetella and distemper vaccinations and documentation must be presented. The safety of your pet is my top priority! Full shot series proof required. I have a very friendly fur baby of my own so even on days that I work I find it essential to make sure he gets plenty of exercise for the day. We love to hike, go swimming, go to the dog park and run around together, and we both would enjoy having some extra company along the way! At home, we have tons of cuddles and love to give. We go on walks often and many other adventures. For example, the dog park, hikes, bike rides, runs (etc). I can give baths too but am still saving up for some supplies needed to properly bathe long coated dogs (we’d have to do some sun bathing to get dry!) I regular clip nails, so if you’re interested we can include that too. In terms of dog sitting, I’d love to include all of the same activities, with any accommodations needed!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
