About: I am a full time pharmacist with a unique overnight schedule. I love all animals so I am looking for some jobs on the side caring for animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, chinchillas and parakeets. I work third shift 7 days on and 7 days off so I have a very flexible schedule to care for your pets. I can make any schedule work. I have a non social bulldog so I am able to care for a cat or dog in your own home and could care for a smaller caged animal in my own.

My work schedule is as follows: Monday~ 4:30pm-10pm Wednesday~ 1:45pm-9:30pm Friday& Saturday~ 10:15am-4pm or 2:15pm-10:30pm Sunday~ 9:15am-4pm or 2:15pm-8:30pm. My weekend schedule varies from morning to night and i get my schedule one week in advance. I have Tuesdays and Thursdays completely free. I am also happy to move my schedule around if needed as long as i have a 15 days notice. :) I am enthusiastic about caring for animals. I will make sure your animals are well loved while you’re away. I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! I believe I can help your dog/pet feel loved, safe, comfortable, fed, clean, exercised, washed (optional), fun/waggy tails, like family, when you are away. My name is Michelle. I love animals! We have a small dog, bunny and fish! I used to volunteer at SPCA and Paw-sitive (Non profit, walk, groom, and feed stray dogs until they got adopted). I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals on and off for about 34 years) …cared for puppies, adults and senior dogs such as pit bulls, Pekingese, Shih Tzu , mini pincher Dobermans ,then fostered a German Shepard, a black pup Labradors, also taken cared of a Golden Retrievers, a Pitbull, poodles, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terriers, birds, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). (Yes, I have a small dog but our house is big enough to have another dog/cat/pet around . I can gate, and keep my dog separate if need) Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-9 times with pictures)! Schedule: I take your/our dog out first thing in the morning, break, lunch, then around 3-4pm, around/after dinner time, and right before bedtime too ( update you with photos)! I will spend time with your dog/cat/pet. I will sit with, read to, massage, clean, comb, feed and pet (constantly check on, if they don’t want to be disturbed)! Even while I read to my kids, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. And my dog will be gated, separated, away from your dog/pet when we are out and when requested. About: I have experience with a variety of animals from dogs and cats to horses, birds, and reptiles. These have been my own pets or others' pets. I've helped with puppy care and senior dog care. I am a mental health therapist. I have my own private practice, so I have great flexibility. I don't work on Saturday or Sunday. Those days I am open. I have a fenced in backyard for my 2 dogs. Inside the house they have plenty of space to roam, play and relax. They get walks and see their favorite vet when needed.

I normally help with refreshing my clients dogs water bowl at every meal, take them out to use the restroom, and play with them. Growing up taking care of dogs made me realize how special the bond can be between you and any furry friend. I have experience in my daily profession working as a dog bather and in a doggy daycare! I love making friends with all of them and making sure they're all taken care of like family. During your dogs adventure with me I'd like to make the experience the most comfortable and enjoyable for them as possible. Additional services such as nail trimming, trail hiking, adventures and training sessions can all be included as well! All pets must be completely up to date on rabies, bordetella and distemper vaccinations and documentation must be presented. The safety of your pet is my top priority! Full shot series proof required. I have a very friendly fur baby of my own so even on days that I work I find it essential to make sure he gets plenty of exercise for the day. We love to hike, go swimming, go to the dog park and run around together, and we both would enjoy having some extra company along the way! At home, we have tons of cuddles and love to give. We go on walks often and many other adventures. For example, the dog park, hikes, bike rides, runs (etc). I can give baths too but am still saving up for some supplies needed to properly bathe long coated dogs (we’d have to do some sun bathing to get dry!) I regular clip nails, so if you’re interested we can include that too. In terms of dog sitting, I’d love to include all of the same activities, with any accommodations needed!
