About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl and that has been many many years ago. I have also worked as an animal tech and research assistant where I maintained animal colonies and worked with large animals. I believe having animals in your life is a blessing. I am retired and I love animals so I thought I would give some love and attention to the animals that need some attention while the owner is away from them. I have a fenced in yard that the dogs can run and play. I am also there with the dogs most if not all of the day.

About: I have found that cats have a bit more personality and uniqueness than compared to dogs. I didn't grow up with cats but learned to LOVE them after my roommate and I adopted 2 kitties 4 years ago! We got to see a brother and sister grow before our eyes and clinge to us as parents. I respect cats for having "personality" and can read the room greatly when it comes to giving them space or more attention. In many ways they are easier to maintain but harder to befriend! Challenge is on!

About: I have always been known as an animal person. Cats have a special place in my heart, and I take my role as a Certified Crazy Cat Lady very seriously. I have always been surrounded by them, taking care of family's pets for coming up on a decade. I also have over 6 years experience working with the cats at a local animal shelter, where I do both weekly cleaning as well as socialization with new or scared cats. About: I was a Veterinarian Assistant working with cats and dogs of all sizes for 2 years. I’ve always had both dogs and cats growing up and currently have two dogs and two cats in my home. One of my dogs is a rescue and we are in obedience training for him - he is a 50 lb border collie so I have also been learning obedience training on the side. I’ve been learning about proper health care of dogs and cats of all ages and plan to become a registered veterinarian technician in the next couple of years. I worked right beside Veterinarians learning how to best care for animals every day. I’m currently a stay at home mom with my two year old son who shares my love for animals. About: As a SAHM and lifelong animal lover, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet like family. I have an 11-year old Golden Retriever of my own so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, loving companionship while you’re away, or your cat needs attentive care, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently a SAHM and with both of my kids starting school soon, I will have a lot of free time throughout the day to care for your pet. I have a fenced in yard and an older dog that gets along well with other dogs. I walk my dog daily and look forward to walking and spending time with yours.
About: The things that separate me from other sitters are my active lifestyle, strong communication, adaptability/ flexibility and silliness! I love to go hiking, running, swimming at the family lake, explore dog parks and other fun activities while sitting. Options are endless and will keep you posted with fun photos, videos and other messages to make sure you know your pet is safe. I do not ADD ANY STRESS. Quite the opposite. I am to make about $25/ hour so that would require me to spend about 4-5 hours on ruotine pet car (walks, feeding, taking out, medicine, adventures + household chores ect.) I have to factor in gas money, taxes, and rover fees so please consider that when booking. I am willing to go the extra mie and make your dog's stay a vacation and spend all day with them, I just expect to be fault comensated. Some dogs (+multiple dogs, cats ect.) require lots more attention than others. I find it very hard to work full time and pet/ house sit. As I am trying to move away from my other job and pet sit closer to full-time. I love animals but they are lots of work, as we know! Please be curtious and respectful of my time and love I show your pets. I am currently working part-time as a rideshare driver and am part-time student in grad school to get my masters in psychology. And back living at my parents house with a big yard in the basement to play in. When I am pet sitting I revolve my life around the needs of the pet and adapt my schedule to their potty breaks and eating habits. Like I said, I'm flexible and easygoing and luckily don't have too much on .y plate right now besides studying and private rides mostly at night! I have backup as well with my cousin who lives with me. Leashes all the time if they could get away or in public. I have a stand outside with a long leash for extended outside time but am usually just side-by-side the pet most of the time so they are in good eyes. Clean environment, no drugs, no partying, no garbage laying around. (I live with my parents currently in Montgomery, OH and they are on board as well as they love pets too!)

I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! I believe I can help your dog/pet feel loved, safe, comfortable, fed, clean, exercised, washed (optional), fun/waggy tails, like family, when you are away. My name is Michelle. I love animals! We have a small dog, bunny and fish! I used to volunteer at SPCA and Paw-sitive (Non profit, walk, groom, and feed stray dogs until they got adopted). I have housesit/housesat and dogsit/catsit/ bird and turtles-sat for friends and was suggested to extend my love on ROVER! I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals on and off for about 34 years) …cared for puppies, adults and senior dogs such as pit bulls, Pekingese, Shih Tzu , mini pincher Dobermans ,then fostered a German Shepard, a black pup Labradors, also taken cared of a Golden Retrievers, a Pitbull, poodles, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terriers, birds, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). (Yes, I have a small dog but our house is big enough to have another dog/cat/pet around . I can gate, and keep my dog separate if need) Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-9 times with pictures)! Even while I read to my kids, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. And my dog will be gated, separated, away from your dog/pet when we are out and when requested. I left my 911 emergency call taking position to be a stay at home mother. I would love to care for, walk, play, cuddle with your dog and take your dog to the park with us too ! *** ONLY DOGS UNDER 35lbs at this time. Thank you*** I have a lot of room, space, toys, pillows, blankets for your pup/dog/cat/pet (separated away from our dog), open concept spacious house, and animal-friendly neighborhood. I live in a cul-de-sac with extremely caring sweet neighbors that know me/us. About: I have been a dog guardian for 40 years including two Huskies for 10 years. I spent 25 years in San Francisco where my dogs went to the dog park twice a day. I was also a volunteer at the SPCA in California where I helped care for the dogs waiting to be adopted. Your best friend will get one on one and 100 percent attention from me. I only board one dog at a time unless they are from the same household already. I am working out of my condo as a freelance designer and make my own schedule. Because of this I am able to provide full time care for pets. I was a volunteer at the SPCA in San Francisco before moving back home to Ohio. I have a condo in Montgomery surrounded by green grass off the road. There is a great park down the road. I also have the option of boarding special needs dogs at our family home 5 minutes down the road.
About: We've had dogs our whole lives and love the joy they bring us. We've been pet sitting on and off for the last 3 years and would love the chance to take care of your family member! Jathan works from home every day and Dani's office is dog-friendly and we have some flexibility between the two of us to both do work from home days. If your pup absolutely has to have someone there at all times or has medication needs, we can also rearrange schedules to have both of us work from home, or bring them along to the office! We have a patio dog door, allowing dogs to spend time inside if they wish or to let themselves outside to sunbathe, chase squirrels or burn off any energy if home alone. Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard that everyone always has access to. In the summer we try to spend a lot of time back there relaxing, chasing bubbles and throwing the ball. We do have a hairless cat who typically stays in my sister's bedroom under the blankets. We make sure she has her safe space by not allowing even our dogs free access to her room and when we have new doggie friends, we typically put up an extra gate in the hall just to make sure everyone has their space.

About: I have been helping care for dogs since I was 10. I grew up with Dalmatians, dachshunds, black labs and Dobermans. To say I love dogs is an understatement. Our dachshund (16) recently passed away and my daughters and him were best friends! I am not ready to have a dog back in the house full time but have realized, after dog sitting for a friends and family’s dogs, this would be a great way to help care for others pets. My husband and I work from home so letting the dog out is no problem for us. While we do not have a fenced in yard, we do have a lead to let them out on and take frequent walks. About: I have multiple years experience working in a doggy daycare, kennel, and shelter environment. I don't have a dog of my own quite yet, but I am working towards obtaining a certification in dog training. I worked for 5 years at a kennel, and my work there ranged from being a part of the doggy daycare in the back to customer service up front. In my time there I have become fairly knowledgeable on dog behavior, body language, etc. I have been lucky enough to care for more dogs than I could ever count, with personalities to match! They all hold a special place in my heart, and any dog under my care is treated how I would want my own pet treated. Pet care is always my top priority, both for my own and any pets I’m watching or caring for. I schedule my hours at work to be able to accommodate the animals I’m caring for. I tend to work mornings/ afternoons, and am able to stop in for a mid day potty break if needed. I do not care for pets in my own home, as my two cats are shy and take some time to adjust to new animals. But I dedicate myself to taking care of animals in their homes or if I have a dog out on a walk! I do my best to replicate the schedule and environment that pets are used to to keep them as comfortable as possible. I like to hear of any quirks that may be helpful in making your pet more comfortable.

About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I grew up with three cats that are now senior kitties and need a bit more care. I’ve been the go to pet sitter for my friends and family for years. In addition I also worked at a dog boarding and daycare for a few months so I’ve met and dealt with many dogs with different energy and social levels. My work schedule is as follows: Wednesday~ 1:45pm-9:30pm Friday& Saturday~ 10:15am-4pm or 2:15pm-10:30pm Sunday~ 9:15am-4pm or 2:15pm-8:30pm. My weekend schedule varies from morning to night and i get my schedule one week in advance. I have Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays completely free. I am also happy to move my schedule around if needed as long as i have a 15 days notice. :) I am enthusiastic about caring for animals. I will make sure your animals are well loved while you’re away. Full shot series proof required. I have a very friendly fur baby of my own so even on days that I work I find it essential to make sure he gets plenty of exercise for the day. We love to hike, go swimming, go to the dog park and run around together, and we both would enjoy having some extra company along the way! At home, we have tons of cuddles and love to give. We go on walks often and many other adventures. For example, the dog park, hikes, bike rides, runs (etc). I can give baths too but am still saving up for some supplies needed to properly bathe long coated dogs (we’d have to do some sun bathing to get dry!) I regular clip nails, so if you’re interested we can include that too. In terms of dog sitting, I’d love to include all of the same activities, with any accommodations needed!

I have also worked as an animal tech and research assistant where I maintained animal colonies and worked with large animals. I believe having animals in your life is a blessing. About: I’ve owned cats and dogs over the years. My family raised kittens for years when I was in high-school. I also had a dog of my own for 15 years. I’m always the first to volunteer to care for friends and family members pets when they are out of town or need extra help walking them during the work week.
