“I will start my review by simply saying that Jennifer is extraordinary! This was my first time using Rover, and this turned out even better than I could have imagined. We were in a situation with Gray Cat that I had to find someone within 36 hours, and needless to say I was feeling rather vulnerable. Jennifer answered me within minutes on Monday night, came over to meet us (and Gray Cat on Tuesday), and we left for a week on Wednesday morning. She went above and beyond what I would have expected to ask of anyone. My back-story is that I expected that Monday was the day we would be putting our beloved Gray Cat to sleep after 18 years of love, but my husband and the vet decided that he 'wasn't there yet' after much testing on Monday. We don't have family nearby to petsit, and under the circumstances, I didn't want the young family next door to have to deal with this. Jennifer took it all in stride, changing pads & toweling for his accidents, hugged him & talked to him every visit, and sent us complete updates. When the "accidents" became daily occurrences, Jennifer brought extra waterproof pads over to supplement the supply that I had left her, and even started a load of laundry to keep up with the extra towels on his bed. She gifted me such peace of mind, and Gray Cat with genuine attention (he went to her every visit - animals can sense good people)! If Jennifer is the last new person that Gray Cat meets in his life (he is declining), I can't think of a better person for it to have been than Jennifer! I do not have experience with any other Rover sitters, but Jennifer has set the bar impossibly high for the next person!”
“Emily was phenomenal!!! She visited my cat twice a day for a week and followed all of my instructions perfectly. In addition to feeding him, cleaning litter boxes, washing bowls, playing with him, she also had to give him a pill daily and use medicated wipes on him! About: Hello! A little bit about me: A student who is crazy about animals and would take care of your lovely friend/son/daughter (haha) as if they were part of my family . I was raised around dogs and cats and when I grow up, I decided that I would want to work for their own good. I was part of an Animal Welfare Organization in my hometown and hosted some homeless dogs and cats and took care of them until we find a new family for them. About: I was a Veterinarian Assistant working with cats and dogs of all sizes for 2 years. I’ve always had both dogs and cats growing up and currently have two dogs and two cats in my home. One of my dogs is a rescue and we are in obedience training for him - he is a 50 lb border collie so I have also been learning obedience training on the side. I’ve been learning about proper health care of dogs and cats of all ages and plan to become a registered veterinarian technician in the next couple of years. I worked right beside Veterinarians learning how to best care for animals every day. I’m currently a stay at home mom with my two year old son who shares my love for animals. My partner works from home as well so I have a very flexible schedule to fit whatever needs you and your animals have. About: We've had dogs our whole lives and love the joy they bring us. We've been pet sitting on and off for the last 3 years and would love the chance to take care of your family member! Jathan works from home every day and Dani's office is dog-friendly and we have some flexibility between the two of us to both do work from home days. If your pup absolutely has to have someone there at all times or has medication needs, we can also rearrange schedules to have both of us work from home, or bring them along to the office! We have a patio dog door, allowing dogs to spend time inside if they wish or to let themselves outside to sunbathe, chase squirrels or burn off any energy if home alone. Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard that everyone always has access to. In the summer we try to spend a lot of time back there relaxing, chasing bubbles and throwing the ball. We do have a hairless cat who typically stays in my sister's bedroom under the blankets. We make sure she has her safe space by not allowing even our dogs free access to her room and when we have new doggie friends, we typically put up an extra gate in the hall just to make sure everyone has their space.
About: I have been a dog guardian for 40 years including two Huskies for 10 years. I spent 25 years in San Francisco where my dogs went to the dog park twice a day. I was also a volunteer at the SPCA in California where I helped care for the dogs waiting to be adopted. Your best friend will get one on one and 100 percent attention from me. I only board one dog at a time unless they are from the same household already. I am working out of my condo as a freelance designer and make my own schedule. About: I've taken care of my family dog for 6 years, and I also was entrusted with my friends and family's dogs since I was 9. Currently, I am doing volunteer work and shadowing physicians as I am home for the summer from college. I am available majority of the week and weekends. I make sure to let our animals have their separate spaces for when they are in need of a rest. They also have fulltime access to food and water, and I have a fenced in yard with enough room to run around. In a client's home I will make sure your pet has food, water, and a clean place to go to the bathroom. I will ensure they are mentally stimulated with plenty of play time and cuddle time.

In addition I also worked at a dog boarding and daycare for a few months so I’ve met and dealt with many dogs with different energy and social levels. I learned I prefer taking care of animals more one on one, or in a smaller setting. This way I can ensure your pets get everything they need and never feel neglected. My work schedule is as follows: Monday~ 4:30pm-10pm Wednesday~ 1:45pm-9:30pm Friday& Saturday~ 10:15am-4pm or 2:15pm-10:30pm Sunday~ 9:15am-4pm or 2:15pm-8:30pm. My weekend schedule varies from morning to night and i get my schedule one week in advance. I have Tuesdays and Thursdays completely free. I am also happy to move my schedule around if needed as long as i have a 15 days notice. :) I am enthusiastic about caring for animals. I will make sure your animals are well loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a drop in visit or a walk while you’re away I will ensure your pets are safe, happy and comfortable when they’re with me. I’m available for walks, drop in visits or overnight stays.

I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! I can gate, and keep my dog separate if need) Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-9 times with pictures)! I am a mental health therapist. I have my own private practice, so I have great flexibility. I don't work on Saturday or Sunday. Those days I am open. I have a fenced in backyard for my 2 dogs. Inside the house they have plenty of space to roam, play and relax. They get walks and see their favorite vet when needed.

I love making friends with all of them and making sure they're all taken care of like family. During your dogs adventure with me I'd like to make the experience the most comfortable and enjoyable for them as possible. Additional services such as nail trimming, trail hiking, adventures and training sessions can all be included as well! All pets must be completely up to date on rabies, bordetella and distemper vaccinations and documentation must be presented. The safety of your pet is my top priority! Full shot series proof required. I have a very friendly fur baby of my own so even on days that I work I find it essential to make sure he gets plenty of exercise for the day. We love to hike, go swimming, go to the dog park and run around together, and we both would enjoy having some extra company along the way! At home, we have tons of cuddles and love to give. We go on walks often and many other adventures. For example, the dog park, hikes, bike rides, runs (etc). I can give baths too but am still saving up for some supplies needed to properly bathe long coated dogs (we’d have to do some sun bathing to get dry!) I regular clip nails, so if you’re interested we can include that too. In terms of dog sitting, I’d love to include all of the same activities, with any accommodations needed!

About: I have owned and taken care of my own dogs for 15 years. I currently have one dog, Clyde, he is a Bernedoodle. I will be working with my 16 years old daughter to help care for your pet. We are available for boarding, dog walking, feedings and cuddles. I work during the day but I am home by 4:15 and available on the weekends. If needed I can come home at lunch time for potty breaks. I am available to come to your home for drop in care. Boarding would be done at my house. I do have a dog friendly Bernedoodle and 2 cats.
