My dog and kitten get everything the want and everything I think they need 🤣. Leaving your animal in the trust of me would guarantee that the things you want done for your family are completed. These can include walks, playing with certain toys, or the use of certain leashes or collars.

A typical day

When I watch pets, I love keeping them active, happy, and engaged! If they enjoy the outdoors, I’ll take them on energizing runs or scenic hikes—it’s a great way for both of us to stay fit while exploring nature together. For pets who prefer a slower pace, we’ll go on long, leisurely walks around the neighborhood or to a local park. I also enjoy playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with toys indoors or in a yard. Mental stimulation is just as important, so I’ll incorporate training games or treat puzzles to keep their minds sharp. Whether it’s a brisk morning jog, a quiet hike through the woods, or just some cozy cuddle time after play, I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and entertained.

Pet care experience

I have been in the animal care business for the last 10 years. I personally have a very loved dog that I have cared for, for the last 11 years. On top of caring for my family’s pets over the last 16 years.

Alex was great with our three dogs, including one very geriatric senior. It was great to know that they were well cared for and loved while we were away.

Alexandria was great for our doggos! She gave plenty of updates and we came home to our house exactly as we left it!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We hired Alexandria for overnight sitting and experienced what we consider complete abandonment of care. After arriving and sending two updates, she left our home at 8:04pm - as supported by our ring camera footage - and did not return (ever). She was unreachable for hours while our dogs were left crated and alone well beyond agreed limits. We had to contact a neighbor to intervene after midnight and my in-laws had to drive from Cleveland to care for our pets for the remainder of the service. I am still seeking a refund for the abandoned job. After she was informed that we reported Alexandria to Rover, she claimed our dog bit her (8 hours after she had left the home). It is interesting to me that this wasn’t reported immediately and that we were not able to get ahold of her during this time. This did not meet even the basic expectations of overnight house sitting and I do not consider Alexandria a trustworthy person. Definitely would not book again.

I can’t recommend Alex enough. She is a wonderful sitter. I had an emergency where my flight was bumped to the next day - Alex was there for our cat and dog. I’ve rebooked her several times and will continue to do so. She takes care of our home, is very communicative and our pets love her.
